I purchased three pairs of long curtains under two orders in total from this company with blackout linings and whilst the first set was good but had a bit of a strange smell it faded after a couple of weeks so I purchased two more delivered in August 25 (now 7 months old).
Sadly, these two pairs smell rather unpleasant and I sent them an email which they initially ignored then sent another to which they asked 'what would you like us to do?' I asked them to either replace the curtains or pay for them to be dry cleaned as they are stinking out the house. Sadly they went quiet on me and I am not going to waste my time chasing them. However, it’s amazing how after 16 days of no contact on submitting this review they have immediately replied (does it really take 16 days 7 would be more appropriate). I accept their reply as it’s true it’s quite a while but, why ask what would you like us to do if too long had passed??? sadly life has just been rather hectic so it kept getting not dealt with.

I highly recommend Curtains Made For Free - the 5 Roman blinds I ordered arrived in perfect condition, exactly when promised, and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely use them again.

Great website and some nice curtains. I’ve measured up for mine, filled in the details and paid. There’s always a 6 week wait for the curtains to be sewn, which was lucky for me because I’d measured wrong. A quick phone call sorted it all out and I received an email shortly after saying the curtains would be delivered the next day. Well wrapped in a box. I simply put my curtain hooks on them and hung them up. Absolutely perfect. Smooth service and a good price. I’m delighted 👌.

Just had a wonderful experience with kay explained the material what I was looking for was told she would need to take a few days to order material Tony came to measure wonderful helpful guy he even gave Kay the measurements was told about 3 weeks received email to say they were ready Tony picked them up for me and finally my curtains look wonderful Great customer service what else can I say. This company is exemplary. They have everything covered from ability to choose any fabric, style, ordering process, pricing and accurate delivery times. The finished product is first class. I had a problem that I had caused and the manner in which it was rectified was outstanding. A bonus is a phone call is answered by a person who also deals with your query. First class service and some.

This is the second order I have made from this company, two pairs of curtains and a Roman blind. They are cheaper than anywhere else I looked for the same material but a better finish! The option to have the curtains gathered for you was a Godsend on a window fourteen feet wide! Any questions were answered promptly and I was kept updated on delivery times. Highly recommended and I would definitely use again for any further requirements.

Excellent service! Excellent work! I have been using Curtains For Free for a few years now and I am impressed at the quality of work. I have also placed orders which are more detailed and they have always been very obliging offering advice and recommendations.

I'm very happy, my new curtains are nicely made and look good. They were over £200 cheaper than another online firm (using the same material), though I did have to wait 2 weeks longer, maybe because other customers are also putting price first! The quality is excellent, I had another pair made by the same firm about 6 years ago and they still look great too. Would recommend.

Easy access to speak to them on the phone about specifics to do with the eyelet curtains I had made, which was very reassuring, very professional and friendly throughout. The curtains arrived earlier than anticipated via a courier, and look fantastic, well-made, and of course the correct length and width, eyelets well spaced. I could not be happier.

Had never heard of this company but the reviews were good and they were one of the few places I could find that had the fabric that matched my Villa Nova Wallpaper.
From start to finish their communication was excellent and the finished product beautiful.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use again
