CREDIT THIEVES

First these thieves took 9.95 out of my account then they took another 1.45 and now a few days later they charge 43.53. At this rate its going to cost me more than my mortgage payment.
Tried to phone the number to cancel bet the electronic answering machine keeps hanging up on my calls.
I am going to call my bank and get all charges reversed and issued a new card.
Do not sign up with THESE CORRUP THEIVES.

TERRIBLE company and the reviews speak to that!

I am shocked at all the negative reviews and decided to tell my story and how I plan on handling it. My family required one time credit scores to move. I had trouble with logging into Equifax with two of us. So I decided to pay the $1 to get the reports, one report was never received and the one we did receive was inaccurate by 97 points. Yeah that's right upon getting our Equifax scores we discovered the 729 in the credit verify report dated 2024/08/25 was actually 827 according to Equifax. This is disgraceful and this company should be ashamed of themselves. Only it gets worse today 2024/09/01 I discovered two charges for 34.95 on our credit card. Absolutely unacceptable I will be calling first thing Tuesday morning as this is fraud and they will be removing these charges from our credit card. Or I will be contacting BBB and any other company that can stop this scam from happening to others

Thank you for the reply but I stand by my review and my initial complaint. No amount of explaining your unfair and questionable practices will make what you have charged people right. I have already provided all my information more than once now. I have no recourse against your ridiculous policies and want no further contact with your company. Please stop emailing me requesting my information

terrible company

terrible company. I just needed a quick one time credit check. I did it but you had to sign up for a free one month trial subscription. So I did, got my report and cancelled the subscription right after. 30 days later i get a charge on my credit card. It wasn't cancelled. I check the website and i still have a subscription. I try to cancel again and it keeps coming back. I called customer service and about 5 times the CSR tried to get me to take a different subscription. I just wanted to cancel .

This is a scam through and through, they are playing through some legal loopholes but they should definitely be shut down and chased by the federal police soon enough. To call their customer support for cancelling the account it rings for minutes and goes nowhere. They will steal your money if you sign up and not let you cancel.

Total scam!!

My friend with no speaking English been catched by these scammers who "signed her up" with no way to cancel. She is not able to call them, and cannot cancel online now.

Avoid the scammers!!

P.S. Addition to their response: If we subscribed online why we cannot unsubscribe the same way, instead we need to call some numbers and do a bunch of inconvenient extra steps? My friend can read but cannot speak English, why she were not able to unsubscribe? Why we can easily unsubscribe from any online services except creditverify?

Be aware of clicking "no or not interested!" This company takes your info anyway and then steals your money!

I suppose reporting this company to bbb isn't doing anything! No idea who or what this company is but the random (unnoticed) $1 charge a couple months ago and now a $34.95 charge NEEDS to be returned to me YESTERDAY! It's not even as if I had some kind of trial with you guys or something... as many other people have said, I too have to agree... "I have no idea how you guys happened to of gotten my info, except for when I possibly DENIED wanting to "purchase" something and you guys STOLE my info and then my money anyway!" I'm tired of waiting for some lousy inexcusable response; thar doesn't actually pay for anything... but my money, that you had no legal right touching, well that money back in my account does actually pay for something!

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Signed up for the trial with an email and a verification telling me that $1 CAD will be debited from my account, only to discover I was signed up for additional services I *NEVER* agreed too.

After calling my credit card company, who does a great job of verifying my transactions and credit FOR FREE, they’ve reversed the charges.

Seems every idiot they hire is from the Philippines who wouldn’t know what honesty or integrity meant if it was beat into them.

Needless to say, after 3 calls to get someone with an IQ higher than a #2 pencil, I managed to receive confirmation of two supposed service being cancelled.

Crooks. ZERO transparency OR integrity. Forewarning, they hide behind their Terms & Conditions as justification for not being forthcoming

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST

They first lied that there was a problem with my social and it will be checked for free. Then they requested for credit card information for just a $1.0 charge. Only for them to say there is no problem with my social insurance number, charge 9.95 and 34.95 after a week. I called and they said it was in their terms and conditions. They took these charges without issuing a receipt to me as well. What kind of company is this? Who does that?

This is an awkward way of thieving.
You just need to provide them an email and a password to be eligible for payment of a monthly 26USD without any clear page or section indicating your subscription.
I've just suddenly been aware of their payment on my bank app which was really shocking!!!!
Imagine you've not received any services and even have not provided them any basic information other than an email but they start to charge you monthly!
Please help me with filing a complaint for them.

Prior to interviewing a company wanted a credit score from CreditVerify

I received an interview request from Lauren representing Allied Systems Canada for a job posted on LinkedIn.

The emails representing the company are not listed with their domain name but gmail and other free web based email services.

They asked I go to CreditVerify to get a a credit score before interviewing. My understanding some jobs do require or recommend a credit score during the the hiring process but this is usually done at the reference check step or done as a requirement in the offer letter.

I applied for a job opportunity posted on Linkedin by LARCO Audit Professsionals in Toronto. The recruiter (Lauren Jones) sent a mail that i should send my credit score so they can schedule me for an interview. The fraudulent recruiter shared creditverify website for me to verify my credit. After accessing the website, they deducted CAD$1 and CAD$9.95 from my card. They did not provide any credit report as they have promised. I could not cancel as well. The phone number they provided on their website wasn't going through. I contacted TD bank fraud team. They gave me a number to call (1 877 751 5899). This people told me categorically that they cannot refund my money, that it is trial fee. They also did not provide me with any credit report as they have promised. They told me they are legitimate and working with TransUnion. They use deception to take money from people. TransUnion should put up a disclaimer for Credit Verify.

Thet are purely fraudsters. scamming unemployed people in canada. This is very sad. After all the reviews i read online. Canada government should do something about it.

Once you are signed up then they want…

Once you are signed up then they want $34.95 per month. Why? There are others out there that are free. They already charged my card $11. It is all about free money. I will be cancelling tomorrow. Be warned, do not sign up.
