I do not know who this company is or why they appeared on my credit card.. This caused me to cancel my credit card. Good thing as there is no easy way to cancel this membership once they sign you up.. I did not sign up for their service. I do not know how they got my credit card. I do not want to do business with them. I did not authorize any transactions in the first place. Now you are threatening to delete my review because I cannot provide a fictitious reference number.... Further proof this is only a scam.

Scam trying to take money after canceling

I paided the 2 dollars for 7 day trial, just to see my score that day, and once I got my score, I called them to cancel, on first day of trial, before the 40$ charge after trial. It was difficult to cancel, over 3 times I said to cancel and he kept trying to get me to keep it, even for 1 more week. But I said no, and he said he canceled it. My online account did not change, still open, and now 7 days later they just tried to charge 40$ on my credit card. I called back and asked what was going on, and he said my account was canceled and there was no charge, he said maybe it was a older charge, which is nonsense, and my credit card company reported the charge to me as fraud.

Don't use this company, once they have your info they will charge you whatever they want.

Update in response to Company response below: Your terms for the trial was that if i cancel in the 7 days i DONT have any of the reoccuring charges. I canceled it the same day i signed up, and have the cancelation confirmation email the same day. And you continue to try to charge my card every day. I already called your customer support line, which is a scam, i asked many times for a supervisor, i was put on hold for a few min, then told none were avalible and to keep talking. I dont even believe they tried to get a supervisor ANY of the times i called and asked. Total scam company, i am so glad my credit card company declined the 40$ charges, but i worry for all the other people trapped in your scam. I filed a police report and reported to RCMP anti fraud.

CREDITPMFVERIFY SCAMMERS

Creditverify or PFMverify are total SCAMMERS and THIEVES.I made the mistake of giving them my banking info for $1.00 free week. I cancelled it the next day or 2. But I was charged $34.95 for the last 3 months without knowing. I noticed this last time because I know I had a certain amount in my bank. And the next day there was $34.95missing. I did not use this service once , or was notified of any payment. I phoned to explain , but since I don't have the email from 3 months ago. I'm screwed. After calling them crooks n thieves they refunded me half of the last payment. Ripped off for the rest.

A scam company

A scam company. I was not
told i was signing up for anything. Luckily the charge never went through because I did not have available credit but they tried daily even though I told them not to. I just cancelled my card and reported them as fraud.

This company stole money from my account and tried to say I agreed to it in the terms and conditions to which I read prior to agreeing to what I thought was a free credit check. Do not go to this company for something that is free. Don't touch my bank ever again and delete my data. You not permitted to have it. Thank you.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I did the free trial and in my initial order it said if I didn't cancel I would be charged 29.95 monthly. I've been charged over 40 each month since. I called to cancel and the lady just denied the email and said I must have missed something. She had no concept of customer service except to upsell me into staying. Horrible experience.

Credit Verify makes it difficult

Credit Verify makes it difficult to cancel if you forget to follow up after the $1 trial period. You have to call in to cancel. They “offer” loyalty points that work like a lottery so there is no guarantee that you will be compensated for the points you accumulate.

Fraudulent Charges

On Swagbucks they lure you to join for a $1 trial in exchange for Swagbucks. I joined using my credit card and all of a sudden, I get a text notification from my credit card issuer that I have been fraudulently charged. I checked my online statement activity and sure enough, there was a $34.99 charge on top of the $1 charge.

Don't even go to them to rectify the problem. Go directly to your credit card issuer and provide documentation (screenshots) that states you are only to be charged $1. Don't even log in for the first time and you may even get your $1 charge nullified.

Never signed up for service yet was charged, complete scam!

This "company" is bullshit! they ask you for more information than needed like my email and my home address (which no REAL company ever does?!), I never signed for their "annual subscription" and have been getting billed for past 2 years. IT'S A TOTAL SCAM! Don't even bother calling them and just issue for your money back and a new card through your bank, they DIDN'T STOP THE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION!

Actually rate credit verify with ZERO. in order to review had to give lowest rating!
Do not register for FREE TRIAL!
I cancelled unsubscribed before 7 day free trial was up and $34.95 still taken from my bank account! I called "customer service" to lodge complaint and get reimbursement only to be told that I would receive a callback which was NEVER RECEIVED!!
This is a company with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! SCAM!!!

This is a scam. I've been trying to cancel my "subscription" - that I never signed up for in the first place - for three months. They've already taken $30 from me, and they refuse to refund any portion of that. Emails are ignored, and the customer service reps are rude and belligerent (one even hung up on me). Avoid at all costs!

AVOID!!! SCAMMERS! I signed up for 7 day free trial. Was sure i cancelled it that day. Then i get charged $34. So I go to cancel again, and it wont let me. It says to call. And she LITERALLY would not let me cancel. Kept saying, no you will get 2 months free then billed again, and I had to raise my voice over and over and interupt her over and over and say NO CANCEL NOW. Then she threatened me!! Saying I will never again be able to access TransUnion. WTF.

Scam

I lost above $1000 after i pay their subscription for 1 month. eventually i forced to replace my credit card.

CREDIT THIEVES

First these thieves took 9.95 out of my account then they took another 1.45 and now a few days later they charge 43.53. At this rate its going to cost me more than my mortgage payment.
Tried to phone the number to cancel bet the electronic answering machine keeps hanging up on my calls.
I am going to call my bank and get all charges reversed and issued a new card.
Do not sign up with THESE CORRUP THEIVES.

completely disgusting customer service. The customer service also does not fully understand the terms and condition regarding their policies and they are still holding my money from a failed service transaction

TERRIBLE company and the reviews speak to that!

I am shocked at all the negative reviews and decided to tell my story and how I plan on handling it. My family required one time credit scores to move. I had trouble with logging into Equifax with two of us. So I decided to pay the $1 to get the reports, one report was never received and the one we did receive was inaccurate by 97 points. Yeah that's right upon getting our Equifax scores we discovered the 729 in the credit verify report dated 2024/08/25 was actually 827 according to Equifax. This is disgraceful and this company should be ashamed of themselves. Only it gets worse today 2024/09/01 I discovered two charges for 34.95 on our credit card. Absolutely unacceptable I will be calling first thing Tuesday morning as this is fraud and they will be removing these charges from our credit card. Or I will be contacting BBB and any other company that can stop this scam from happening to others

Thank you for the reply but I stand by my review and my initial complaint. No amount of explaining your unfair and questionable practices will make what you have charged people right. I have already provided all my information more than once now. I have no recourse against your ridiculous policies and want no further contact with your company. Please stop emailing me requesting my information
