The App has been down nationally since Monday as I understand it and CPR Guardian are no doubt working hard to fix the issue . It’s IT and problems can occur. However given the core business is to protest the vulnerable I would have expected anyone on a contract for whom they will have contact details to at least be informed there is a short term vulnerability.

Customer service is shocking. Emails not responded to and no weekend customer service. My father is currently unable to use his Guardian watch as no network coverage. Watch cost £200 with a monthly subscription of £19.99. Poor poor service.

Are we being refunded? Please respond. Your telephone support is useless and no response to email!

I am elderly and suddenly disabled by a bad fall. A determined Gardener I am aware of possible falls. When a neighbour recommended the CPR Emergency watch and I immediately ordered one. The Sales and Technical help has been both patient and generous with their time. It has been easy to set up over the phone with more help offered to connect my iPad to an App. Relieved to have this telephone connection to family and friends if needed. Thoroughly recommend

Customer service and tech support were very helpful and anserwd all of my questions.they put my mind at ease.

We wanted a 'alert watch' for my Mother who has Meniere's Disease but was adamant she didnt want a traditional call pendant.
We bought the watch online, which was very easy and then got a call immediately to set up a Service Plan and the watch was sent out that day 'working and set up'.
All our contact has been so helpful and caring and swift action - very impressed and so so pleased we bought the CPR Guardian Watch - a great product from a very customer focused company

I purchased the watch to monitor my father who is in his nineties, living thousands of miles away in the Caribbean.
Being able to speak with us wherever he is, at home, at the bottom of the garden or out walking has increased his peace of mind.
Knowing that we have the fall sensor and sos button and tracking active, has increased ours.
The simplicity of just swiping to answer a watch secured to his wrist, over retrieving phone from a pocket, holding it with one hand and answering with the other, all while under the pressure of doing this whilst the phone is ringing, for someone with advanced age and reduced dexterity was something I didn't have on my list when I was researching and exploring options, but it is a very welcome benefit that should definitely be high on the list of considerations.
The associate app on my phone seems to be reliable and is reasonably intuitive. The only issue I have is that there does not appear to be an easy way to re-sequence the SOS numbers selected.
The tracking, fall sensor and SOS button all worked as I expected.
Improvements? Perhaps additional ringtones and alarm tones.
All in all, a very very good solution

My fathers watch was damaged in a fall and the strap kept coming off. I spoke to Rob in technical support who looked at the pictures I sent and worked out that it was not repairable and unfortunately it was out of warranty. He knew how important it was to my father to feel safe and he gave me a great deal on a brand new watch, he’s set it up for me and it’s hopefully arriving tomorrow. He was incredible and that’s the best customer service I’ve had in a long time!

Ordered a CPR watch for my 88 year old Dad on his request so that he can go out for walks and feel confident that I will know where he is if he has a fall. Customer service, from Steven and Caroline, has been excellent. Lots of advice and support re details of plan to chose and setting up the watch.

Purchased for my elderly mother as she had the early onset of dementia. Unfortunately she had a fall and we were able to get to her before any serious damage was done to the fall detector feature.

Extremely grateful as I dread to think what would have happened if we hadn't been alerted.

If it was an option I would select zero stars not one.
We got this watch to help keep a relative with dementia safe and had nothing but problems with the watch, causing it to be more stressful and unsafe having the watch as opposed to no watch.
The signal was poor / non existent despite the watch being used in a town and not a remote area. It never tracked the wearer to their correct location and did not update in real time.
The watch battery was poor.
The help we got from the company was poor and not transparent. We were sold many promises that never materialised.
The timeframe to receive the refund for a faulty product and a contract that we no longer wanted due to the watch not working was completely unacceptable (more than a month and the process involved having to make contact with the company and prompt for the refund regularly).
A very poor product, I would not recommend it to anyone.

Thank you for your reply. However I do not think there is anything to look into. I am reporting that the product does not work, there is very poor customer service and the amount of time I had to wait for the refund was unacceptable.

I bought the CPR Guardian 3 and signed up for their bronze service plan on 02/02/2023 unfortunately the signal was almost non existent despite living in a town (not rural) I therefore had to cancel my 12 month contract on 04/02/2023 as per consumer contracts regulations 2013 since then I have contacted CPR Guardian by email a number of times and received no reply then this morning they took a second monthly payment of £14.99 from my bank.
16/03/23 UPDATE
I am pleased to say that this matter has now been resolved satisfactorily and I have received a full refund.

This product is ideal for our requirements as a single long press on the watch triggers a text and phone call. The only drawback is the battery life, which requires daily charging but the location feature is not crucial for our needs. We are pleased with its functionality and hope it remains reliable

I purchased the CPR Guardian watch for my husband who has dementia. It will provide peace of mind if he should lose his way and means he can stay in contact. I paid for the set up and year in advance contract. Everything worked very smoothly, the watch arrived within a day or two ready to go. The sales team and customer service could not have been more helpful. So far we are finding the watch very easy to use, the app works well and the battery life seems very good. I also particularly like the magnet charging system. Would highly recommend

I purchased the GPS watch for my brother who has dementia last June, it worked perfectly well and was very helpful when he went wandering, my problem is that I paid the monthly service charge for the full year up front and my brother had to go into care in October. I contacted the Company 30th November to request a refund and was told this would be processed, called back 16th January as it still hadn't been processed and was informed that it was probably not done due to staff shortages and would be done. Sent message to them today via their online service and no reply.
An update to the above, I eventually received a part refund of 5 months, after numerous emails even though they agreed I was due 7 months, had to chase again and again and then sent them proof this was agreed and eventually got it, frustrating, time consuming and unfair how they treat the vulnerable in the community given that is who they provide services to. Three and a half months it took them to pay out when I was told it would be received in two weeks. At no time did I get a reply to a query from Customer Services, they only got in touch to tell me a refund was processed, had to cc another person I was dealing with to get an answer and threaten them with updating review. I actually asked if they were going down the tubes as service was so bad!

I bought the CPR Guardian watch for my husband who has Parkinson’s Plus and prone to falls.
I paid for the full set up service which was initially disappointing as it came without a Sim number, and I was then given the wrong number by support which delayed the set up.
Once a different support person helped out the service was exemplary and the watch has given my husband greater confidence to go out on his own, knowing the fall monitor would alert me, and I can use the GPS to track him.
If not for the initial set up problem this would have been a 5 star review.

Fantastic customer service, Caroline in the sales team was fantastic and very helpful. Steve in Tech support was very helpful too and supported us with navigating the aap. The team will call you back when they say they will.
The watch arrived in time, simple to set up and use and gives you a real peace of mind. Fall detection works well, emergency sos call works fab and the aap is so useful to know where our elderly father is. Well worth the buy.

The watch was easy to set up and use by my sister in law. Support desk were quick and helpful on the on occasion I needed assistance.
