This would be zero if that was an option. This company provides no customer service whatsoever for beneficiaries. It’s one delay after another & Hadir Ali is never available & never responds to emails. When my husband receives any correspondence, there’s always an excuse for the delay in payment.

Liam from the Probate Department is an absolute gem!
He was so professional and helpful in dealing with my Aunty's probate. He kept me informed all along the way (which is quite a rarity since the pandemic!)
Any questions I asked he responded promptly and gave me all the information I required.
The great thing when you are going through a bereavement is that you don't want to be "chasing" to find out answers and enquiring as to the up to date status. Liam always emailed me at every stage without me having to chase. A great guy - he's a keeper!!

these guys are driving us nuts. since jjune weve been tryign to get a trust set up properly and all they do is procrastine and go round the houses but dont actually do anything.

Hadir Ali has been absolutely amazing. We had a bad experience before he took hold. Hadir has been extremely professional and helpful.

I have sent 5 emails and 2 complaints to this Company and have not received a reply. The first tranche of payments earlier this year from my late Stepfather's estate was fraught with delays and now the beneficiaries are waiting for the final payments which have been sent by the family Solicitor to CTT. There has been very little communication to my brother who is also an Executor. I can only assume that because I am not a client and only a beneficiary that they will not communicate with me. However, to just be ignored is very frustrating and unacceptable.

Initial Steps taken to arrange a meeting with the Trustees was long drawn out, but when a second Trust Management Administrator (Kiran Hyare) took over this was quickly rectified, and things moved on a pace a meeting was arranged in no time at all. very efficient service and genuinely wanted to help. nothing to much trouble.
The meeting went ahead on schedule, chaired by Cam Massey, I was most impressed with the service I received, very efficient and professional.
I would have No hesitation in recommending Countrywide Tax and Trust Services to anyone

Hadir explained in plain language what having a family trust meant for us . He has given us simple advice on how to make changes and move forward . He took his time and explained the facts to me , he needed to repeat himself so checking I understood what he was saying .

Countrywide are the biggest bunch of incompetent, unprofessional, money grabbing cowboys you are ever likely come across.
We lost our uncle in July 2022. Since then, we have been battling to get any co-operation from Countrywide (CW). We appointed our own solicitor to help move things along, but it has been a slow and frustrating process. All you get is automated responses, weak excuses, delays and obstruction.
We did eventually get CW to renounce as Executors of the Will, so we were able to complete probate ourselves. However, when our solicitor sent CW a Deed of Appointment to retire the Trust, they refused to sign it, insisting on a trustee meeting at a cost of £350 + VAT for a Zoom call, plus whatever undisclosed additional charges they can dream up. Having no other option, we requested a trustee meeting 4 weeks ago and have heard nothing (even though their automated email states a response within 5-7 working days).
This is a very small estate, totalling less than £80k, which includes a 1 bedroom flat. We are paying over £200 a month in bills and charges for a flat that is empty, but can’t be sold because CW are named on the Land Registry.
CW are very good at charging people £1000s to set up a Trust “to protect their assets from care home fees”, but it’s completely worthless as my local authority confirmed that it could be construed as depravation of assets and he would still be charged. CW then sting the family for more money every step of the way once the settlor has passed away. (Ref. 09PMW-165C)

Waited to get a response from their "complaints procedure" but it is now over 3 months after first contacting CTT and we are still no closer to a resolution. Thought we had agreed a deal costing best part of £1000 but now they throw more spanners in the work.

Appalling standard of competency, cannot even get Mums name correct in their own complaints procedure.

Kept updated every step of the way.
Explanations of the procedures explained very well.
Nothing was a problem when I made enquiries.

I have given Hadir Ali 5 out of 5 because of his hard work and determination to get the job done. It does have to be said that communication was only 4 out of 5, however, I’m well aware that I’m not the only client that Hadir has! Well done Hadir!!

Very poor customer service, set up trust fund for Parents, no advice when both passed away then charging for the service of signing trust over to Our solicitors (who done the work m)
Please stay clear use your own solicitors may cost more in short term but better long term.

Again your reply is not accurate as told via email a trustee meeting would be more expensive and you have chosen the cheapest method ie signed by Director! As ever no advice no communication with family, Countrywide driven by profit not care

CTT have provided us with exceptional service and supported us constantly. This was our first experience with estate planning and we had little understanding of the process but they guided us through every step. Our practitioner James Fisher, has been brilliant throughout the whole process and is a consummate professional. Their in depth knowledge has been invaluable to us and it was such a good experience and we would highly recommend their services.

From start to finish the process was clear, simple and efficient. In particular Stacey Jenkins who worked on my late Father’s Estate kept me in the loop and offered help where it was needed. She was thoughtful and caring and made the whole experience as positive as possible during what is a stressful time. I can’t recommend this company enough.

A kind, helpful tone and good, strong formal manner characterised almost everything that Moses Amobeda did in relation to the Trust Fund. There were the odd mistakes or confusions it seemed, which lowers the score. Does the whole process need to be so involved, to take so long?

Zak always has time to be helpful, always knows his stuff and just makes life so much simpler.
