I cannot praise the professionalism of countrywide Tax&Trust enough, since the outset of the trust which my parents set up we have been kept informed every step of the way of what was happening and what we needed to do, they have taken all the stress away from my family and conducted all legal requirements needed for the completion of probate, dealt with social services for care requirements and so on.
I cannot recommend their service any higher, the probate team led by Chad Nagra are a class act nothing has been too much trouble for them and they have been at the end of a telephone when needed.

Very helpful and professional guidance and support from Hadir Ali when confusion arose with a 3rd party broker regarding my mother's will and trust setup. Happy to recommend!

I needed to contact and deal with the Accounts department on the 20th of June 2024 and spoke with a nice chap called Zak.
He was very prompt and helpful and has sorted out my query for me straight away.

I wish I could leave 0 stars! DO NOT USE this company.
They were instructed by my family on 3rd January to complete probate and set up trusts after a relative’s death. There was no explanation of the process or advice on the time it would take them to complete the service. Also no one to contact if we had queries. Complete lack of customer service!
In April we were told via our financial advisor that probate was “80% done.” Beginning of May we receive a request for a trustee meeting, which could be booked a minimum time away of 6 weeks - no earlier availability!
Finally on this call we are told that probate hasn’t even been applied for yet - unbelievable! It’s been 6 months! We are told we will receive the meeting minutes within 24-48hrs, along with follow up emails from our new point of contact in each department. 3 days later we are still waiting, with no reply to our follow up correspondence. There are no phone numbers to call to speak to anyone. A shocking level of customer service from Countrywide! Especially considering the large fees we are paying them. We wish we had never instructed them. Ignore any SLA’s they give you as clearly they cannot meet any of them!

Our original wills were written 10 years ago and we needed to have them reviewed and updated where necessary.
The advice we received from CTT was most helpful and relevant and delivered in a very professional manner.

Prompt response from the accounts department to my initial query, with any delay being completely my fault.

Believe at this stage it is now bang up to date and a DD for document storage will be facilitated and set-up for the next payment in October 24.

I have had a fantastic and efficient service from Hadir. Also very compassionate due to circumstances. The team he works alongside (kirsten and Abie) makes all correspondence smooth running.

The reason my exprience with Countrywide Tax & Trust was so good was they way in which they continually kept me up to date with what was happening. Also enabling me to have a say despite my difficult relationship with my brother. Moses Amobeda was particularly helpful with emails and information. Stacey Jenkins and Emma Smith were also helpful throughout the process.

We entrusted our dealings to Kinga who was most helpful in explaining the legal side. She also set up another Zoom meeting to discuss some issues that we did not understand. She satisfied our queries and fully now understood the legal details.

I used Countrywide for their will writing service. I found the consultant to be extremely knowledgeable and she really took time in the consultation meeting to fully understand our needs and and requirements and was able to offer a product that best suited our needs.

After some frustrating teething problems with the admin of the Trust and with arranging income drawdown a Zoom meeting with Spencer Tattam, organised by Amelia Hagan, solved all the troubling issues & restored my confidence in CTTC. I am very impressed with their professional approach, their helpfulness and with the impressive level of knowledge in the team

Kinga gave clear and concise answers to all my questions. She is clearly very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the details of my Will and Trust at my pace. I had knowledge of the work that CTT do with family Trusts through a previous employment. I was very impressed at that time and decided then that I would use CTT for my Will when the time came. I have not been disappointed and I am confident that I have received the very best advice.

If I could put a no star that would still be to many
After my mother passed away dealing with this company was awful, everything in the process of winding up the trust was painful and slow.
Questions unanswered.
House sale lost as the time they took to react was long and the guidance they gave was nonexistent.
From the day all moneys from house sale and investments went into the trust it took exactly SIX months for it to be paid out to us and as of today nearly Three months on we have still despite many phone calls not had a statement detailing where the money went or detailing their charges.
It should have been simple only two benefactors of the trust both in agreement and no inheritance tax to pay
My next step is to seek help from the financial ombudsman..
I can honestly say this has been the most stressful thing I have had to endure in my life please do not use this company.

Fantastic service. Very informative and an easy process to follow. Kinga was absolutely brilliant. She's helped us through the process, managed our expectations, advised us and we were very pleased with the end product. Kinga is top of her game!

Amelia Hagan was a pleasure to deal with, very thorough in her explanations & but my mind at ease throughout the whole process.

So CTTC: As you read reviews it's the sales people who appear nice and efficient... #BUT# once your loved one passes on their closure is lax to put it mildly. We were enabled into an 'emergency meeting' to hit the IHT tax deadline 1 year on. The agreed time-line of their output came and went.
Chase, chase and chase some more.
Do not use under any circumstances!!!!
