Kiran was excellent and patient in sorting out our trust and property affairs. The time it took and costs were our only concerns.

Initially dealing with this company was hell. They had been nominated as Executors and Trustees in a family members Will. I was passed from pillar to post and it’s taken almost 7 months to get them removed and to the tune of almost £600. So, if any of your family members are considering using their services, please make sure they have done their due diligence!

Their only saving grace was Robin in their Trust department - finally we had some continuity with the case, they worked hard to make sure the process was easy as possible, if we had been allocated Robin at the start then this whole review might have been completely different. Can’t thank you enough - hopefully this will be fed back!

Having had varied experiences in the past, my case has now been managed by Kajal who has been really ‘on the ball.’
She has really worked hard to resolve a complex situation, which was not of her making, in a fair and efficient way.
I have spoken to a financial advisor who holds the same viewpoint as myself regarding Kajal.
I have every confidence in her, hence my revised opinion of Countrywide.

I dealt with George Mathison all the way through, he was totally accommodating in every aspect and nothing was to much trouble.

I would highly recommend Chad Nagra who is CTT's Probate Lead . He provides excellent support and clarity in his advice , always highly responsive and pro- active in the support he gives . All my experiences with Chad have been excellent .

Cannot praise the Probate team enough. The company is so lucky to have Chad he is fantastic. Following an unexpected death Chad explained everything to me- what would happen next, what to expect etc. He has answered my calls and emails without hesitation. Karen handled the case professionally but was so kind and always available to chat if I had a question. Sonbol picked up the caseload towards the end and again was always efficient and professional. Everyone (especially Stacey) in Probate have gone above and beyond to help. Thank you so much. If I had any negative experience it was the delay for meetings(8-9 weeks) but once meetings took place it moved quickly. Thank you to the team for your support at a difficult time. Chad really is an asset to the company.

My mother was badly advised to set up a family trust in 2013 following the death of my father and put her family home into trust along with a sum of money to protect it from potential care home costs. She has recently moved house and given that a trust does not protect from it being used to pay for care home decided to dissolve the Trust. Countrywide has missed essential deadlines to release her money and we are constantly fobbed off that documents are in the post - they send them to the wrong address twice, do not explain the process or any of the costs despite being asked repeatedly by email and by phone. We told countrywide what we wished to do back in April and it is now mid October. They did send out one document - very late but it only covered a fraction of the process rather than sorting it all out efficiently. They obviously want to hang on to everyone's money as long as possible and employ some very smooth talking Admin to gloss over their failings - it is impossible to speak to anyone who is able to action anything. I submitted a complaint and they have smugly informed me they are not regulated by an ombudsman!!!!

Chad Nagra represented the Probate Department of Countrywide really well.He gave timely responses, was helpful and supportive and followed through on promises. He has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to predict and carry out actions that will make customers feel safe and valued. Paris Hollingsworth also offered prompt responses and help when needed. I have received consistently high quality support from Chad and Paris over a number of months.

Their customer service is appalling. I have been trying to get the charge that was placed on my father’s property released since March. They have failed to respond to my probate lawyer’s requests for information. They failed to communicate with the executors to advise that they were waiting for a copy of the will (which their company arranged)! We are hoping to exchange and complete this week and even though they have all of the information that they need; no one can advise me when this will be dealt with. Having a trust is supposed to provide peace of mind and, in my limited experience of speaking directly with this company, this is the complete opposite. I would NEVER recommend anyone deal with this company whatsoever.

We have been trying to remove our property from a living trust with Countrywide Tax & Trust for over 4 months as we are now wanting to move house. We regretfully didn’t realise what the implications were when this was sold to us! In the first place we feel that we were persuaded into putting our house into a living trust when all we originally applied for was a simple will from Legacy, all of which cost thousands £s. They said it would benefit us in the long term. We want to move and can’t until our house is taken out of the trust and again it will cost us over a thousand to reverse it!
Their communication is appalling, we have supplied details and everything they require but nothing happens. Our case handler is never available so we requested a call from the big boss! Watch this space!

UPDATE 2:
Well what can I say but total incompetence, documents eventually received but they were incorrect, one document missing and a literal error in one of the paragraphs. Now waiting for correct documents.
We wanted an invoice and after 4 attempts for them to send one, we still haven’t received it! Every email contained a blank attachment!
We were told the amount on an email and now our bill is about £650+ more than we were quoted back in July 2025. I have requested a complete breakdown of the costs. Still no reply!

Had to contact Countrywide to help me with a task. I was lucky enough to have Sophie Higgs as my advisor on this matter who kept me in the know at all stages and if she said she would do something it was done, promptly and professionally. Although things did take longer than I expected and I a few hoops to go through everything was sorted, thank you Sophie for your help and support.

My family and I sadly had a sudden bereavement. Countrywide was who my late uncle entrusted to carry out his will once he passed. As with any loss, it was a very difficult time for the whole family and with it being so sudden there was a lot of moving parts.

Having never personally navigated through the legal process after a losing a loved one, it was a very daunting task that I knew very little about, never mind where to start.

Countrywide was there from start to finish and handled everything with confidence and care and kept me updated throughout the whole process.

Paris, who was dealing with my case was an absolute God send and made a difficult time, more manageable and took a LOT of stress and worry away from my family and I which I will forever be grateful for.

Genuinely outstanding support throughout the whole process and perfectly handled.

Following the sad death of my brother I reached out to Countrywide to assist with the probate. Through the process we unfortunately experienced some difficult and unforeseen circumstances. George Mathison's prompt responses on email and his availability to talk to the executors and myself on the phone was invaluable at solving these challenges. If George was not in the office Chad Nagra and the rest of the probate team helped us with equal efficiency. The estate has now been settled and my family and I are very grateful for the 5 star service we received and have to give particular credit to George, he could not have helped us any better.

Please please, if you care about your menal health, do NOT use this company.

It took just under 10 months for Countrywide to prepare, sign and post 2 documents. Mistakes, delays and excuses......their communication is terrible and they are completely unprofessional.

Their Will and Trust services have been APPALLING and 2 independent Will and Trust Specialist Solicitors both confirmed that documents were poorly constructed and pointless.

It took us just under 10 months to get away from them, and it's all cost thousands of pounds.

All on top of grieving a much loved family member.

I personally had a brilliant experience resolving a family trust issue through Countrywide- very good communication from the outset and helpful advice for someone unfamiliar with the required procedures. Sophie and Aidan were very pro-active in resolving and expediting the entire process - from start to finish this was just a couple of weeks. I couldn’t recommend Countrywide highly enough in terms of professionalism and efficiency and I’m similarly impressed with their association with CTT-law.

I want to make it known to everyone to steer clear of this company that have wronged me and what I’ve read, many others too.

Sadly, my beloved partner died of terminal cancer 18 months ago and prior to her passing, she instructed Countrywide Tax Corporation Limited to act accordingly regarding her last wishes as stated in her Will.

The beneficiaries of my partner’s Will clearly stated that myself and her two sons are to receive an equal share of her estate. It was on the understanding that once I sold the property the final amount would be equally shared 3-ways with myself and her two sons. This does not seem to be the case as I’ve now been battling with Countrywide for a year to gain what is rightfully mine, according to my partner’s wishes, and they have taken it upon themselves, to what I believe, acted against the last wishes of my partner by fobbing me off with many excuses so I don’t receive what I’m entitled to, surely this is unethical?

Countrywide Tax Corporation Limited is a ‘Trust’ company, and so far, I absolutely do not trust them. My experience with them has been horrendous and I’ve been treated appallingly by them. They’ve failed to cooperate with me on numerous occasions and NOT follow the instructions of my partner’s last wishes, which I believe is unethical.

In the meantime, I will continue to battle on, in the hope of a speedy, satisfactory resolution to this matter.

On 25th June, I contacted CTT Group's Client Care via their publicly listed email address (clientcare at ctt-group.co.uk), which they often use to respond to negative feedback. My enquiry was regarding a legacy trust product they sold to my parents.

Unfortunately, despite the passage of time, they have not responded to my request or provided any of the information I sought. Their lack of engagement is concerning and falls short of the transparency and professionalism one would expect, especially in matters involving legal and financial arrangements of this nature.

Communication is poor. 7-9 days for an email reply to simple question. If you call they ask you to email. Speaking to someone is impossible.
I would avoid.

The staff were all impeccable in what they did and very professional. Knowledge of Law and the advice they gave was spot on.
They helped us achieve what we required.
Paperwork was all dealt with securely.

Only one slight drawback was I needed to a little chasing around between us and FA. But some Of that was the way the Law works with is etc… all in all a good experience. Thank you
