Never received product, company claimed it got lost and they want me to research and find with yet another App. No, too many retailers to work for them to find something they claim is lost. A good retailer would have replaced the item.

The best experience I’ve had with an account rep from any company. Tamara was polite, cheery, and professional. I gave her a quick rundown of my issue, and she went to work explaining what caused the issue and how it would be fixed. Have to say I’m actually happy I had issues with my original purchase because I came out winning after speaking Tamara. Awesome rep awesome experience!

Been mountain biking now for 25+ years and have spent thousands of dollars at Competitive Cyclist and others. Have never had something like this happen and just want to caution you if you plan to make a purchase online and have to deal with them for any issue.

Cust Svc rep #1 offered to overnight me a saddle and then I could send the "lost" saddle back if it ever arrived. A PERFECT and generous solution that would keep any customer a future customer. After the call, he emailed me saying that he would not be following through as I had purchased insurance to guarantee delivery, so I was on my own.

I called back and spoke with Cust Svc rep #2. CC rep #2 offered to give me $100 to spend in the future for the trouble and I explained I am not interested in making money off of this, I just want a saddle for a group ride I have been looking forward to this Saturday. As Ive already spent over $200, I do not want to spend more to buy another saddle. Rep 2 got irritated as I was getting more upset and told me he thought his $100 gift was a good enough deal, so I could spend $100+ more to get another saddle while fighting it out with insurance...no thanks. 10 days to just file a claim is WAY too long when you can order online next day with no issues or questions.

Either way, there are enough online and local retailers that WILL take care of the customer without snarky and unfortunately rude customer service (rep#2). Who did not like that I was upset with the company and his mimicking my comments. For me, I will make all future mountain bike purchases elsewhere and would advise the same for others who may need good service in the future. Having your personnel go after unsatisfied customers and acting as though you have no recourse. Comp Cyclist is a company that has no responsibility because something did not work for the customer. While some would do what it takes to make a frequent customer (33 purchases so far there) happy, they are unwilling to figure out and fix the error on their end and prefer to inconvenience and let the customer pay for their mistake.

Tamara was able to fix a problem that another rep was unable or unwilling to address. She was extremely efficient and pleasant to deal with, so much so that i am still providing feedback a month later.
