Bad experiences over years.
Customer service was far less than helpful, and when I left a 1 star review on Google the only thing they had to say was the generic 'we're sorry - we take your issues seriously'. They had a chance to take my delivery issue seriously - but they didn't, and I only seemed to get a repsonse when I comlained.
Allow me to elaborate - I orded a data cabinet for next day delivery that we needed urgently for a job. This didn't come until 2 days later than it should have, and CE basicallyblamed the courier, which would have been true, bu the complete LACK of assistamce in aiding in helping my siutaion is what I'm revideing here. No offer of sending another cab priority, no apologies, no help with the courier, just a wet reply. NOt even a gesture of £6 to refund the delivery costs, and now that £6 has cost them these bad reviews. Such poor customer service.
This isn't the first issue we've had either, maybe this isthe 'straw that broke the camels back' and now, looking at other reviews, I can see I'm not the only person experiencing these problems.
As it is, it cost us 2 days on a customers site and hundreds of pounds. Won't be using again. Try someone else.

Dropshipper Disguised as a Retailer – Waste of Time
I’ve placed multiple orders with this company during a home networking project and, frankly, I regret not going elsewhere. On more than one occasion, I placed an order for items listed as in stock—only to be contacted days later and told they weren’t available after all, and would need to be ordered from the manufacturer. So much for real-time stock accuracy. It’s clear they’re operating as a dropshipper or middleman rather than holding proper inventory themselves.
The returns process has been even worse. I ended up with a small surplus of components (keystone jacks, faceplates, etc.) and submitted a return request using their form, as instructed. Since then, I’ve been subjected to a seemingly endless and fragmented back-and-forth over email—repeatedly asked to provide information I’d already submitted (part numbers, quantities, photographs, order references).
At one point I was told they couldn’t see the photograph I’d sent, despite it clearly showing all 15 items in question. I resent it. They then claimed they could only identify 8 of the items and needed separate photos for the rest—despite everything being visible in one, high-quality image. The irony? These are all standard components in original packaging and unused.
It’s clear their systems and processes are not fit for purpose. They’re passing the burden of internal reconciliation and supplier handling back to the customer, which is completely unacceptable. I’m a business owner myself and understand the importance of customer experience—this is not how it should be done.
I won’t be using them again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone expecting efficient order fulfilment or a professional post-sales service. There are plenty of suppliers out there who actually hold stock, communicate clearly, and treat customers with a baseline level of respect.

Following investigation into your return experience, we can see that your return request was for multiple orders; however the initial request only identified one order. This therefore resulted in the customer service team engaging in emails with yourself to clarify the order numbers and specific items you wished to return. In addition to the above, we can see that the customer service advisor you were liaising with is within their training programme and unfortunately misunderstood the photo provided and what was being shown; again we would like to apologise for any frustrations caused during this step of the process.
