Sharing my experience that I had today with a member of staff at Springview medical centre, Little lever - Cohens chemist! With the “Delightful” Gerry. The tall blonde woman

I feel people need to be make aware they are being b****ed about no sooner are there backs turned or the phones hung up!
However when confronted this particular member of staff chooses to bare face lie after me listening to her b**** about me for no reason and just be super cocky & argumentative! NOT ACCEPTABLE !

Basically iv nipped in to collect a prescription on behalf of my mum which the chemist said on the phone would be ready on the Friday just gone. I was in the middle of a conversation with another member of staff and she said one of two medications wasn’t there. I got my mum on the phone to discuss and asked the lady I was talking to to speak with my mum, instead of me having a 3 way convo. Gerry butts in and says there’s nothing we can do about your prescription
( that’s literally your job to do prescriptions🙈 and I was asking her to explain the situation so wth)

I replied “what” confused I them repeated again that I didn’t want to be having a 3 way conversation when they can just speak to each other.
Anyway I was getting nowhere - this chemist dosnt have the best reputation for getting prescriptions right anyway and this is a mistake on the doctors/ chemist end however Gerry was just being so abrupt and confrontational and she wasn’t even serving me it was just a joke. However no reaction from me I just don’t know what her problem was or why she was even getting involved.

So the other members of staff are looking for this prescription, I literally nipped to the connecting doctors to see if they knew the issue or could get the doctor to send a new prescription, however I was also listening as I knew for a fact soon as I turned my back she would have something rude and unprofessional to say as I have witnessed it many of time from her towards other customers , not to their face of course!

I was not wrong! I heard her b****ing about me, immediately confronted her and asked her to repeat herself to me! She of course denied it her face changed to just cocky confrontational and told me to more- a less shut up otherwise I would be barred!
I replied “for what? Calling you out for b****ing about customers in front of everyone!” - unnecessary

She again denied it I told her if she didn’t like her job don’t do it but to not take it out on customers. She then brazen as you like shouted back “it’s customers like you that make me not like my job”!

Bear in mind not one other member of staff stuck up for her and said no she wasn’t talking about you they said nothing!

My message to you Gerry is consider a career change and something/someone to put a smile on that face 😃

P.s I’m making ppl aware of this as it’s unacceptable reporting it wont do anything it never does but you can’t just expect to act in this manner uncalled for and there be no consequences. And it won’t be the last time she’s like this towards customers!

FYI- The customers are not the issue it’s members or staff like this with s***ty attitudes towards customers who are poorly/ elderly have certain conditions that obviously do not need to have to endure such attitudes/behaviour from staff treating customers in this way may I add without the customers these staff wouldn’t even have a job! After posting my experience on social media there has been unsurprisingly lots of other customers who have had the same experience In general and with this particular member of staff (Gerry)
People have said they’ve had to stop using this chemist because of there experience with this woman as well as others but it’s just not right. Head office/ management allow it to continue with no consequences and here we are ! You have a bad rep and no one wants to use your chemist. Still nothing will be done ….. shameful!

Spring View Medical Centre Cohens Chemist

I’m finally at the end of my tether with them! For years our local Cohens was good but all the people have now changed and they have become petulant and unhelpful. It takes a week from prescription to dispensing and they are completely inflexible. Taking the NHS £ and giving nothing back to the community. Avoid if you can!

Although this is not about the website it's about my local pharmacy.

Do you not realise people who get prescribe medication have been prescribed it because they are ill? Obviously you don't. Your pharmacist could see my prescription on the Thursday but insisted I had to comeback on the Monday as it takes two working days.

Disgusting, absolutely disgusting!!! Will be getting my prescription sent to Tesco from now on, what a mistake it was changing to try support my local chemist when they already are closing one of their branches close to me. Now I know why!! Because your pharmacists are sadistic who thrive off laughing about people spending the weekend in pain!!!

Cohens southwick sunderland went yesterday to pick up my prescription told it would not be delivered to the chemist until 2pm today seems all prescriptions are now sent to a central location in bolton and delivered back to your nominated chemist the chemist was full today people waiting for their prescriptions..have they got more customers than they can handle?

I moved to Cohens chemist in Chessington about eighteen months or so ago.
I cannot praise them highly enough. Karen who is usually on the front is pleasant and helpful.
Nilesh Patel, the Pharmacist is really great and goes that extra mile for some of my difficult to get Meds.
Definitely recommended.

If I could leave no stars I would, staff lie to you, are rude to you and hang up and won't let you speak to a manager when they have stolen prescription with meds for a child on them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Visited the branch on Queensbury High Street recently. Dealt with a lovely man who was very helpful and dealt with my enquiry. This branch is not known for its customer service skills so it was a pleasure to deal with such a nice man. A credit to your organisation.

This chemist has been going downhill for some time. Rude and abrupt staff, very slow service. The serving staff appear to be lacking in basic communication skills. I waited thirty minutes this morning to pick up a repeat prescription sent directly from the GP. The assistant vanished for a good three or four minutes to search for it when previously, repeat prescriptions had been kept by the counter. Many of the people before me had incomplete orders, were complaining about incorrect orders or had been wrongly informed that medication had arrived when it hadn’t. Shelves are half empty and there is a general sense of chaos and disinterested staff out of their depth. I will not be going back.

I am being very generous to say the least giving Cohens Chemist on Bridge Rd one star. Dreadful service, never have medication that is prescribed, always told to go back to chemist and even then medication is never available or ready. I am not the only person feeling this way. Today 3 customers left after waiting 30 mins in a queue as customers were complaining about either not getting their prescribed drugs or having to return to the chemist as full prescription not available. I will not be returning to this chemist DREADFUL!!! No stars.

Received a text on Wednesday to say my prescription would be ready after 4pm Friday. So after 4pm I'm waiting for about 20 minutes to be served. I was told half of it was ready but could I come back for the rest. "No I can't" I showed her the text and asked her why it wasn't ready. "Cos it isn't" was the reply. Rudeness like this has no place when working with customers (some of whom may be ill or vulnerable) . When I said if it says it's ready then it should be her answer "well that's life isn't it" NO, it isn't. Cohen's chemist bridge road Crosby. You need to sort your staff out. The chemist is a shambles, your staff are rude, your waiting times are atrocious. I'll be changing chemists before my next visit. One star because I can't leave none.

If I could give one star for the Crosby branch I would.
The place is a total shambles - empty shelves, lack of drugs, delayed receipt of prescriptions and incompetent staff who blatantly lie about why a prescription isn't ready.
A lack of ownership for the mistakes are constantly made and lack of organisation means the service the shop is meant to provide is totally non-existent.
Avoid at all costs!!

Bad service bad attitude,no organization a long queue to be seen,ordered a week ago.....

Once again this branch of chemist on sheepridge road have been incompetent and rude.. I asked for a prescription for my son from doctor. For as long as I can remember they have an attitude. The staff are rude and unhelpful. As they have been on many occasions. I have retaliated because. Once again due to their poor service. I had to phone them for my son's prescription yet again. It had been sat on the shelf 5 days my son needs his medications daily.. And they know this as he's disabled has severe autism, adhd, complex needs, learning difficulties and is non verbal. I am not happy as my son was admitted today at Huddersfield Royal this morning with a seizure.. He has 2 doses of his important medication left. And this could cause problems if there is a break or missed dosage. This isn't the 1st they've delayed his medication either. And one member of Staff named Claire is the one who's tried to embarrass me on several occasions. She's unprofessional and incompetent. At least 3 members of this branch need re training their customer service skills are disgraceful.. They returned his prescription without informing me.. So I'm absolutely livid.. I'm going to go public on social media with this as I think the public should know they maybe at risk or their children.. If I could have given minus 5 I would have
As I've actually complained on here several times. Yet they've never had the decency to reply..

The gent who served me at the cohens macclesfield was very good

Absolutely appalling service - the dispenser at my local cohens chemist in Liverpool initially refused to administer an NHS111 emergency prescription.

This was extremely unhelpful and stressful especially as it was for important blood pressure medication.

When I telephoned the Cohens Head Office to ask for their assistance I had the phone out down on me.

I was then inappropriately accused of being aggressive when in fact the call handler was the aggressive party.

When Cohens realised their error they reversed their decision and I was able to question the pharmacist face to face.

The pharmacist explained that he doesn’t automatically dispense NHS 111 emergency prescriptions as in his experience many people abuse the system!

Absolutely appalling and stressful experience for what should have been a simple routine matter.

Cohens at chester le street are an absolute joke ,I complained about their RUBBISH service on their website ,minutes later i got a call from their local pharmacy making excuses and giving me that hated phrase ,I CAN ONLY APOLOGISE ,which means nothing at all ,the caller was not bothered when i said i was going to look for a new pharmacy,which i will be doing asap .

Cohens chemist inside heysham medical practice. I was served by Kirsty who was rather abrupt and had no customer service skills at all a little bit of manners goes a long way.

We are certainly going to change our chemist. Utter chaos, poor service and seriously understaffed.

Rude, unhelpful and seemingly can’t count passed 6. Tried to blame the GP for their error. This is Cohen’s on Elstree Way in Swindon.
