I recently ordered 2 products, scaly leg mite ointment and smite powder, both really good products and at a very good price. The service I received was excellent with a very fast delivery. I will be shopping at this store again.

The prices are great but shipping is incredibly expensive and puts the prices on par with other vendors. Aftersales service isn't great - am still waiting on one item arriving 2 weeks after placing the order. Have called to chase up twice and assured it's being sent but still no sign. First time I used them was relatively without incident (apart from the high shipping cost) but this second time has been troubled and will be reluctant to use again.

Very pleased with the delivery service, in fact it arrived on Sunday 24th Aug at around 7pm. Excellent service and well done for choosing this firm. All items were packed securely and there were no breakages or spillage, as I had 1 litre of Apple Cider Vinegar in the box. Will continue to use your services in the future.

This was my first order from Chicken House and following this order I will not hesitate to use them again. I strongly recommend them. The order was despatched quickly and arrived on Tuesday after bank holiday. The price was not a lot different than other suppliers, but I do like to support businesses in Wales where I can. I wasn't disappointed at all.

I have never come across such a bad company before, I placed an order of 3 heat lamps and 3 infra red bulbs, order arrived shortly afterwards, however, only 2 heat lamps and one of the infra red bulbs didn't work, so I tried phoning the number on the website, only to hear that they don't receive phone calls, so I emailed them, on numerous occasions, with no reply, still waiting for rest of order to be delivered.

It took a while for our hens to adjust to their new feeder, we were worried that they wouldn't get the hang of it and we'd have to go back to our old feeder. But after nearly a week they all adjusted to it at once! We've seen an amazing decrease in rats in our garden thanks to the feeder- it keeps the feed dry in the rain and we rarely have to refill now!

Purchased some Stalosan F for my chooks - excellent and best price (inc delivery) so will re-visit. Superfast delivery. Recommended.

I ordered and paid for two 20kg items, only one arrived. They do not answer the phone. They do not reply to emails. They do not refund you. They don't care if you threaten to take things further. They should not be allowed to sell online. Angry? I'm totally livid!

Ordered in May - nothing arrived. Emailed and told 'problems with suppliers'. Still nothing 2 months later and not answering phones or emails. Avoid.

Products are fine and arrived quickly. However the billing online was confusing as I ordered from wells poultry and then all correspondence was either from green valley or chickenhouse....... Who was I actually buying things from?

I should have read a previous customer's review entitled 'appalling customer service' before I ordered, but I don't know whether I would have believed it. The first time I ordered everything was fine - the goods I ordered were delivered promptly and I was very satisfied with the product. However, when I ordered the same goods a second time things went completely wrong and I have had to change my mind quite dramatically.
I have tried to phone customer service as it is usually much easier to communicate in person, but there's no one in the office EVER and I haven't had ANY reaction to my e-mails and requests via their helpdesk. The only comment on the site is that 'my request is being processed', but if so, this is taking them an awfully long time.
I ordered Smite red mite concentrate and powder on the 20th of July. Track and Trace informed me that my order had been despatched and was to arrive on the 24th of July. We stayed at home all day so as not to miss the delivery, but it did not arrive. When I checked at the end of the day the last message on the track and trace page was that DPD 'were unable to deliver the package'. This was on the Friday, so as it was after 5 PM and just before the weekend we were unable to reach anyone at that stage. Also, we hoped and expected the package to arrive on Monday or Tuesday as we had never experienced problems with orders on the internet before.The problem was that we were going on holiday on Monday the 27th of July. We informed the person taking care of our home that a package was due to arrive. When it didn't and we were not informed of anything untoward having happened to the package she did everything she could to track the package down, but to no avail.
When we returned from our holiday I again went in search of the package. After a lot of searching on the internet I found a phone number for DPD and I managed to speak to someone who politely informed me that the package upon arriving at the depot in the Netherlands had been so badly damaged that it had to be destroyed. Apparently the content of the bottle of cleaning fluid had spilt all over the rest of the consignment, making it impossible for DPD to deliver the package. She told me that Green Valley Poultry Supplies would know about this happening, as they make up track and trace numbers themselves.
I must admit I was stunned. There is nothing I could have done or can do - the decision to destroy the package was taken for me and I was not informed by email or otherwise by neither DPD nor Green Valley Poultry supplies that my package had been destroyed. I just wasn't told. I paid almost €150 (£100) for the product. I am now trying to get my money back as I fortunately paid by credit card, but I feel extremely frustrated. What is the point of having a helpdesk when you're not about to help anyone?
What it boils down to is this: Green Valley Poultry Supplies sell excellent products and when there aren't any problems with the schipment everything is fine, but when you need them to assist you there is no way you can reach them, and that's really a shame and VERY frustrating. I for one won't be ordening from GVPS again.

Have emailed them several times as I am unable to find a telephone number for company, have had no reply from them.

My first experience with this company has left me with no reservations. The service was excellent with no-nonsense delivery - being in a very rural area it is not unusual for us to have problems receiving ordered goods so I was delighted..
