Bought an electric recliner from SCS , for my 97 year old grandad. Had chair 3 months and electrics stopped working. Had a nightmare with SCS so went direct to CELEBRITY, wow what a great experience. They couldn't have helped anymore. Sent out parts same day for next day delivery. Even offered their technician if that didnt work. It wasn't their responsibility and could have insisted I waited at least another 4 weeks for SCS !!! This company care, have good after care service. Liz was amazing. Will be reccomending anyone to get furniture direct from celebrity and have that type of service And avoid SCS for sure, they do not care once they have your money.

We bought the Westbury, 2 seater sofa, 1 regular armchair and 1 petite manual recliner. At the time of writing this it’s 2 weeks old and the most uncomfortable suite ever. I have both hips replaced and it is causing me a lot of hip pain. I am currently sitting on garden chair until a new £3000 suite of a different make is delivered. So disappointed. Cost me £3000.

i bought the 2 seater westbury static on the 26/09/2023 i have only had it a few months and one seat has gone flat and very uncomfotable the wife uses the seat and she only weighs 9stone this one is bound for the dump as i have had to purchase one from a different manufacturer.Its turned out to be a very expensive sofa.

The worst quality product from this company, the worst quality material, it deteriorates quickly. The mechanism is malfunctioning. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Purchased a Celebrity dual motor recliner. When descending to normal position it returns with a slight delay on one side, causing it to jolt slightly. Bought this chair for a bad back and this jolting movement aggravates my back problem. When reported back to Celebrity they sent out a Homeserve engineer who said there was nothing wrong with chair. I went back to the furniture retailer and said I wasn’t happy as in my opinion there was something wrong. Celebrity sent a second Homeserve engineer to give a second opinion. This engineer said there was nothing wrong. The furniture retailer came and tried chair and agreed with me that it is a fault. However the engineer that came second time said Celebrity say it is within tolerances! Nothing in all of the Celebrity advertising and instructions for sale mention anything about tolerances. The demonstration chair that I tried in the furniture retailers didn’t have this fault and returned smoothly. I have passed my complaint back to retailer to see if he can sort it. At present I am most disappointed with the manufacturer who offer reassurance in buying their product by offering a 5 yr guarantee. Having parted with £1400.00 for this chair I am disgusted with Celebrity customer aftercare service. No mention in sales of tolerances just an excuse to fob you off with faulty products. So much for British craftsmanship. Do not waste your hard earned money on this companies products.

The hand controller on our HSL riser recliner failed. Celebrity appeared in my search online for a replacement. They responded very quickly to my chat query and confirmed they could replace the controller. The order was processed yesterday and the part received today. Most importantly control is restored. Great service.

10 years ago I purchased a leather 3 piece leather suite and it had a problem that was sorted out promptly and it still looks good today.
Because I was very happy with this purchase I ordered a reclining chair and was told that the company was using a better leather.
On sitting in the chair for an hour or two the seat showed wrinklles which didn't go away.
A replacement seat was delivered and fitted and after an hour the wrinkles reappeared.
I conclude that the quality of this companies products leave much to be desired.
I have a 10yr old three piece suit that looks better than a 2yr chair

Typical .. My elderly mothers HSL recliner transformer stopped working (Believe prev made by Celebrity)
and we needed a replacement asap as was stuck in semi reclined 2 days before Christmas
Exact replacement was ordered with anticipated delivery in the new year
Absolutely amazed when less than 12 hours later Mr Postman arrived with our replacement
Shocked as Celebrity managed to post out and get delivered with current covid restrictions
Royal Mail played a part but credit to Celeb for fast tracking on day

I needed a replacement handset for my rise & recline mobility chair. I need the chair as I suffer Spinal Stenosis & arthritis in both hips and the chair allows me to fully adjust it to help ease the pain. Anyway ordered the handset 1st Dec 2020 and received it the following day. Fitted in little to no time and we are back in business again. Cannot thank or praise them enough. Great service,

Having ordered some casters for an electric chair, it was discovered they got lost in the post.
I contacted customer services, who immediately te sent another set.
First class service 👍👍👍

Celebrity Motion furniture bought from Back 2 International which arrived over 4 weeks late (over 10 weeks' wait in total). There was loose stitching, loose and pulled threads and knots in the fabric. It looked like the settee had been made by a completely differently person to the armchair. Shabby chic at expensive new price. You want to buy British and from independent traders but the second rate products and bad customer service just aren't worth it. Buy quality items from a large chain instead.

We recently purchased 2 celebrity Riser Recliners and within 4 weeks noticed the fabric was fraying at the same point on both chairs. Our supplier contacted celebrity and a company used by celebrity was sent out to look at the chairs it was agreed that the chairs needed to be repaired and we were advised that they would be stripped back and total new pieces for the whole chairs would be cut in advance and both chairs would be reupholstered in house at Celebrity we were very impressed. But alas there is still fraying on the fabric and we took note of little marks on the original chairs and also the booklets that were attached to the side of the chairs originally. The marks were still on the chairs so no way had they been totally reupholstered and the same booklets were attached in the same place. Our supplier have told celebrity that there is still fraying although not has bad and we were just told when they left the factory they left to their quality standards and if we were unhappy to get someone independent.
After paying a lot of cash for the chairs this is very poor customer relations and also if they had no intention of totally reupholstering the chairs don't tell the customer that this will be done

We purchased 2 Celebrity manual recliners some 4 years ago, being in our 70s we expected them to be more comfortable than our old reclining armchairs.
On the contrary, they would not maintain a chosen reclined position, returning to upright at the slightest movement.
Neither my wife nor myself find the cushioning comfortable over a long period.
Early in our ownership we complained to Celebrity, & a representative visited, who promptly told us that the mechanism was designed to gradually come upright "as a safety feature", & inferred we should have purchased electric versions.
We have owned manual recliners of different makes over many years, none of which had this problem, and would wish to warn prospective buyers.
We honestly feel that we wasted over £1000 in the purchase of items which failed to meet our requirements, but were virtually told that we had to put up with it!

I have had one of their rise and recline chairs for over 5 years and in that time it has been an absolute godsend.

Unfortunately one of the buttons on the handset became faulty.

I visited their website and I was able to order the part online.

Not too expensive and a prompt delivery, ordered Monday and it was here first thing Wednesday morning.
