Hi there I went to Cash Converters on Smithdown road Liverpool yesterday 7th August,
The Consultant Steffan took a good look at my items and after a thorough search on the internet he gave me good value for what i had ,Also after he explained the options I had in repurchasing my items I decided to go with 'buyback ,He was also friendly and made me feel welcome.

Only part of my order arrived. Range store and they said they would dispatch it that day. A week later nothing. Had to open a PayPal case to eventually get my refund. Cash converters were unresponsive to emails. Would never buy from again.

I would like to say how much help and support I was given by the team gage Tracey and jack are the names I know and are the best guys to speak with they have so much stock phones to jewellery bikes and they all have a great font of knowledge on most items. Preston cash converters are great and I have passed on details to friends especially with phones I always have a friend who has lost it or broke it and the shop has so many phones to pick and as I said the guys are so helpful they make it so much easier. In my experience their goods do tend to be of a surprisingly high quality (but then again you do get what you pay for.. ).

I found the Romford store to be extremely helpful when I needed to return an unsuitable item (but I'm not sure if the other stores would be so helpful if a return was requested?).

The problem (not terminal) with Cash Converters is if you want to sell something they do tend to offer unfairly low offers. I understand that they are being competitive, and this tactic might be almost inevitable, but it leaves you feeling unsatisfied if you're selling and not buying (hence not 5* but 4*).

I’ve been in several cash converters and the best one is in Clayton street Newcastle upon Tyne , the staff are very helpful and friendly and offer good prices for selling, well worth a visit to this store.

Bought a CD/cassette player and the listing included a remote control but that was not shipped. I have tried to contact them but they have not replied. I also believe that it may be faulty as it only outputs in mono not stereo.

Depending on the health of some products that isn't displayed on the website, they provide competitive prices, although their shipping prices are very expensive.

Delivery or communication between Customer and order is slow or unreliable, there's not enough tracking information or order processing involved, so it ghosts until your order is actually dispatched but even then you still have no option available to view your order on the website and see any updates.

I did email regarding the order with an update and never received an update even after the order was dispatched.

I should also mention that the cost to deliver those items to you is way too expensive, realistically I shouldn't be paying more than £5 for a standard delivery especially of a small item.

The reason I gave a 2 star was because they decided to wait and deliver my item to the post office late and upgraded my delivery, which shouldn't have happened which confused me to why I've paid £10 for delivery when I don't get this premium processing service.

Great service from Chloe in Dartford. She really knew her stuff and sorted everything out quickly. Top service all round. Thanks so much, I’ll definitely be back to buy more!

Came in store at the Northfield branch and was welcomed by Ethan. He recommended exactly what I was looking for. Friendly, honest and helpful advice. Appreciate the help Ethan. I will return and will be recommending to family and friends. Great job.

I didn't get a tracking number i got 'ROYAL MAIL 2ND CLASS'.

Shop in Goole. Falsely advertising ps5 1tb, on arrival it was a smaller harddrive, also they had not wiped it still had others details loaded on. Offered to replace with correct model but refunded. Certainly not as described, 100% terrible comms. Slow post, save your money go elsewhere.

I had a fantastic experience at Cash Converters Slough thanks to Diana. Although she’s normally based at the Hounslow branch, she was covering in Slough that day and provided exceptional customer service.

She was friendly, positive, professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me. She made the whole process smooth, answered all my questions, and genuinely cared about providing great service.

Purchased a PS Vita Slim for £130. Both analogue sticks are non-functional, making many games unplayable. I also noticed orange discolouration visible on black startup screens. I’ve contacted customer service with video evidence and hope they resolve the issue promptly.

Ordered a camera lens from Lewisham branch; exactly as described and sent 24hr post for delivery next day

I had a great experience with Diana at Cash Converters. She really helped me out by arranging a loan and a buyback option, which meant I was able to take my kids to Brighton for a holiday. item was purchased and was broken took it back to the store i bought it from. I had lost the receipt but had proof of proof of purchase(paid by card) but lost the receipt which on there web page is all i needed. the guy in the shop was rude and refused point blank to refund this item item was bought on the 15/07/2026 and i tried to return it 7day later would not buy from them again.

I recently bought a camera lens from Cash Converters Widnes.
Unfortunately, it turned out to have a fault, so I had to return it. I was very impressed with how the situation was handled. There was no argument or hassle at all—they accepted the return immediately, processed my refund quickly, and also reimbursed my return postage without any issues.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. It's reassuring to know they stand behind what they sell, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Highly recommended!
