Trust the bad reviews, they are the reason salesmen get a bad rep. They will sell you a faulty vehicle which simply has plasters covering the issues. Stay away and don’t buy.

I paid a £1,000 deposit for a van that was completely misdescribed. When I requested a refund, they initially refused. Only after I made it clear that I would take legal action via the small claims court did they agree—but then came the delays. Week after week, I had to chase them by phone. I was met with ridiculous excuses like “the director is abroad,” “he overspent,” or “the bank blocked their cards.”
In my opinion, they are not to be trusted. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear unless you want a frustrating and stressful experience.

Me and my partner bought a car which had failing brakes and was in roadworthy. The mechanic said me and my family could have been seriously injured. Can’t fathom how they are still allowed to trade. Delivered with a broken wind screen and multiple other serious issues. Refused to refund even after 1 week of owning the vehicle. Please listen to the bad reviews.

Usual sales tactics to get you to give them £100 FULLY REFUNDABLE deposit! 3 weeks go by and phone call after phone call for someone to call me back I finally get told the van needs a new turbo, so they sent it off to get a new one. I said I was happy to wait another week. A few days later I call to arrange a collection date. Again, no call back as promised. I then check their reviews!!! The red flags all round were enough for me to cancel and ask for my FULLY REFUNDABLE deposit back. Oh wait, I'm told NO! Because "I" agreed to the work being done on the van before the sale, therefore voiding my deposit. Now having to deal with the credit card company to get them to get my money back.

Do not , I repeat Do Not buy a c car or van from this company!!

They sold me a van with a dodgy Mot, as I checked it online the van had failed due to a windscreen wiper which was not clearing the windscreen. But miraculously on the second retest it managed to pass with the same windscreen wiper on the windscreen..
I took delivery of this van. It had a nail in one tire and a puncture in the spare. It had no wheel brace or wheel jack they clearly haven't checked the vehicle at all. It sounds like it was purchased from the auctions and sold on straight away, the service paperwork was very dodgy .
I had a the van put through a second MOT, even though it had just passed the MOT , as I didn't trust them also for my and my family's safety!!
The second MOT revealed more failures , headlights not aligned properly, also advisories which were not mentioned in the first Mot!!

Car firm suggested that I take the matter up with the MOT station , but I pointed out that the vehicle
Was not mine at this time,, I was not the owner!!!
Another problem was the engine was full of sludge. I had to pay £178 to have the engine flushed out a new oil put in this needs to be done again.
I have only owned the van for two days!!
I contacted the company to reject the vehicle not fit for purpose under my 30 day consumer rights.
This is now in the hands of the law

If I could give zero stars I would. Head over to trust pilot as the company is that bent they have been paying for 5 star reviews. Look at the negative ones they are the real ones. I read them all and still decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I should have trusted my gutt instinct and walked away before parting with any money. Next il be going to trading standards and also every review site possible. It will end with court as these thieves still haven't refunded my money equating to a thousand pounds as someone else on another review had done to them. One way or another il get the money or my moneys worth. They have been warned and chose to steal my money instead! Distance buying i changed my mind after a couple of days and they won't give the deposit that is said to be refundable. £1000

THE MOST UPSETTING CAR PURCHASE EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD IN 35 YEARS. Reece, the salesperson seemed genuine. Car delivered and had issues with it. Ayhan, the sales manager then stalls any sort of conclusion for weeks through pretend repair quotes and doesn’t reply to calls or emails. We all have to wait up to 5 days for the company directors, Syed and Adil to respond as I’m told they don’t have their own email addresses (although they never actually responded from sales@...). Ayhan told me not to drive the car as not road worthy, yet they won’t make the car fit for purpose. Still unresolved and no correspondence from the showroom in Peterborough or the directors at their Luton site. BE PREPARED TO BE CONNED.

Do not buy a vehicle from here , the engine lights and limp mode activated , on the trip home from picking the vehicle up , you cannot get to speak to a manager , apparently it’s against there policy , you have to go through the sales guys then they pass this info on , was told several times that they send a mechanic out everyday there was an excuse saying the mechanic was off sick , had to have a new catylitic converter fitted at a cost of £2200 to me , three garages said they must f known about this problem and just turned the engine lights off , the warranty they gave me when purchasing didn’t pay out saying it was wear and tear ,

Do not deal with these cowboys, they will charge you a fee to reserve a vehicle for you to view, they’ll tell you it’s refundable but if you try to cancel because you’re not going to view, they then tell you the refund is subject to viewing. The payment is via PayPal they tell you that the payment isn’t taken until 7 days later but, in my case they took in 48 hours.They tell lie after lie. Another lie they’ll tell you is, the payment will be via paypal but it’s not I’m now leaving in the hands of trading standards and paypal. So bent, they couldn’t lie straight in bed

So many lies in this company, we are still waiting for the money which we were told would be in our bank 3 months ago guess what it's not there.

I have recently purchased a new van for one of my workers and couldn’t be more pleased with the level of service and kindness of the staff especially the salesman Reece who made it stress free and quick the van was spotless and in great condition would 100% recommend.

My experience was both dealing with car firm and oodle car finance, was looking at their mk3 rs (I had an itch that wanting scratching) this rs was apparently coming with a forged engine as the previous engine had been hydro locked (fair enough didn’t think anything of it) I test drove the car all was fine apart from the service light dinging on whilst on the test drive again that’s fine they would clear it, after looking round the car numours times I found a few faults with the car front discs would need changing and possibly pads, left rear passenger side door handle had a scratch on it and I highlighted this to them, after that we went through the paperwork which I stupidly over looked, they had two invoices both from the same company one was for the forging of the engine at 59k miles and then what I can only assume was the engine rebuild with no mention the engine being forged and labelled at 84xxx. This should have been a massive red flag but, I over looked it because of my pure excitement of being able to own a mk3 focus RS. The company that did the apparently did the work is scc performance which in the ‘ford scene’ are meant to be a very reputable company. After I realised my f*** up (not even 24hrs after) and my missus screamed at me for not looking at the reviews of this place, I phoned the finance company the very next day to cancel the agreement and as I had not accepted the goods because it was still at the dealership being prepped for me to collect (which I was well within my right to do so as per the consumers rights act 14 day cool off period) after phoning them multiple times they answered asked who it was and just hung up on me, so now panicking that I had been scammed I phoned them back and they gave the excuse they thought the conversation was done even though I was mid sentence when they hung up.. I told them my reasoning for rejecting the vehicle and they said the would sort the paperwork and it was just a mistake on the SCC performances part (which I highly doubt) so a day or two later they magically get paperwork that lines up with what the car was on around 82k and send it to me saying that everything is solved. I then continued to push the finance company to get me out of the agreement as I raised a complaint because car firm would not accept the vehicle back because I had signed paperwork.. bit sus if they know the car is ‘good’ why wouldn’t they take it back? Like any other dealer would, this raise my suspicion even more. I continued to push the finance company to give me a final response letter and get me out of the agreement as I was still paying for a car that I didn’t have (this went on for 6 months) whilst this was going on car firm also told me they would start charging me £30 a day for storage fees even though there wasn’t a mention of this when I looked at the car after 2 weeks they then bumped the price up to £50 a day meaning by the time I got out of the agreement there must have been something like 5/6k worth of storage fees (which I told them from the start I wasn’t paying) the finance company eventually came through after another complain was raised and they got me out of the agreement and told me not to worry about storage fees.. 6 months of pain and agro all for nothing because in the end the consumer will always win against a dealership, I got a full refund of what I paid to the finance company for the car and compensation. Although I never chased car firm for my deposit back.. tbh I don’t think I want to after that shocking experience

After the purchase of my Audi A3 Saloon I later found out that the radiator had a hole in it and would leak coolant and after taking it for an MOT I found out that several of the safety features including airbags and seat belts were faulty so I was sold a car that had major safety issues that could’ve cause serious injury to myself or a passenger, none of these faults were mentioned to me prior to purchase, I didn’t get a warranty with the car but I did ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase which is my right as a customer, they refused this and have not responded to my emails, I have since sold the car at a loss to someone who can afford to get the issues repaired, 1 star is being generous.

My experience with Carfirm has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a Ford Transit Connect (RV17 AZB) from them on August 15, 2024, only to have it break down within hours due to severe faults that rendered it completely unfit for purpose. After returning the car on August 20, 2024, I have been left in financial and emotional turmoil with zero updates from the company and unable to get to work as an air conditioning engineer.
The vehicle I purchased developed an engine management issue, and would only allow me to drive at slow speeds which became dangerous. The vehicle’s service history indicates a reconditioned engine from a salvage merchant, further casting doubt on the vehicle’s integrity.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am not obligated to accept further testing or remedial actions for the vehicle. Despite this, Carfirm has ignored my numerous attempts to contact them and resolve this issue. The lack of response from both the finance team, and the company management is unacceptable and has only increased the strain on my mental health and financial situation.

As well as selling sub standard and problematic vehicles, Carfirm are also conducting unethical online practices. I have gathered evidence suggesting that Carfirm has been involved in posting fraudulent Google reviews, which not only mislead potential customers but also damage consumer trust..

I demanded a full refund of £9,478.80, which I expected to be processed by close of business on August 22, 2024. Carfirm have failed to meet this deadline, and have not contacted me to provide an update. I will escalate the complaint to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), report the issue to Watchdog, and pursue legal action to enforce my statutory rights.

The total disregard for customer service, coupled with fraudulent review practices, makes Carfirm a company to avoid. Their actions have not only led to financial loss but also caused unnecessary distress. Do not waste your time or money with this disreputable business.

I am still yet to hear from them as of 23rd August 2024.

I Bought a BMW 318i From Car firm a little over a year ago, however after just 3 days of ownership it developed severe engine problems. I tried to return the car to them and requested a refund 6 times within the first 30 days of ownership both in person and via emails. They failed to accept the return of the car and I had to begin the long process of taking them to small claims court over it to get my money back.I won the case and was shortly transferred over all of the money by an apologetic manager/partner of the car firm something that should have happened when i first requested a refund. AVOID THIS PLACE!

I also belive that they are using false reveiws to push down bad ones

My review has been removed because they said it was fake so I am doing it again I bought a van it was delivered on 13th of June I taxed and insured the van on Saturday 15 June I used it on 16th and it broke down and told me to get a local garage to be assessed only the garage has not been paid for the recovery or the assessment but car firm just keep fibbing me off it is still in the garage waiting to be repaired so I rejected the van and gave them till 12 July for a full refund and they can collect the van from the garage it is now the 12th and I have not had a refund or any communication so if you want to bye from them do so at your own risk the law states they have to give you 6 months warranty on the van but not if you are car firm Ollie sham and 2 Adam’s one of them the manager they all lied and do nothing
