Formula 1 set off with ANPR check in
We stayed on a site where there was automatic check by ANPR. The downside of this on first arrival was that many units got through within seconds and it was a scramble for preferred pitch. The site that we visited had a number of pitches that were not level so we felt that a good pitch had to be level. It was like Formula 1.

Disappointed CAMC members of 42 years
My renewal crept on me otherwise sadly after 42 years we would have left as the only benefit we get for £69 is the very infrequent 20% off Road Chef purchases. These days we have a tiny VW campervan and given our ages/health we need to be able to book a pitch close to the loos. As CAMC bookings are allocated on a first come first served basis we use commercial sites where we can telephone the site direct and book a specific pitch.

You may not be aware but when making bookings on our UK Club Campsites you are able to add a request for a pitch near to the facilities. Then prior to your arrival you are able to call the site team to arrange this with them. Overall very happy with our membership
Overall very happy with our membership, as full time employees we haven’t always been able to utilise the free night offers which is a shame.
The sites we’ve used have been selected for our own purposes and we’ve been happy with the locations but some ablutions are ready for a make over, although clean with good showers.
As an adult family of tourers we would appreciate more adult only sites, don’t always want to be surrounded by families but there are other places to go to if we need.

We enjoy our break at Daleacres in West Hythe, Kent. We use this site as our weekend break but hope to use more sites in retirement.
We do not like the fact that you cannot reserve your pitch nor that you are not shown to your pitch by a warden.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the arrival process and pitch selection. We aim to provide a flexible experience for all guests, but we understand how having a designated spot and a personal welcome from our staff would make your stay more comfortable. Reserving pitches is not something that we as a Club have ever offered as pitches are selected on a first come first served basis. Our site teams are responsible for many differing tasks on site, whilst our teams can assist in advising which pitches are available they do not have the capacity to show arriving guests to their pitches as often there are limited staff available and they could have multiple guests to check in. ~Dan - Caravan and Motorhome Club Social Media Team
Beware Scammers!
This Club lists Caravan Support as an approved member. Caravan Support are Scammers! We placed an order with them, they took our £250 and did not send us our screen. Further, they spoke with us and said they would send us an e-mail and a refund which they have failed to do. The NCC also confirmed they are a member of theirs as well and seem happy that they are operating as Scammers!

Caravan Club Site is expensive but the facilities were spotless, site is well maintained and wardens were super helpful & friendly. Forfar Town Centre is a 10 minute walk, Aldi, Lidl & Tesco within short 5 min walk and most importantly the adjacent Park, greenspace & accessible Forfar Loch circular walk start is just outside the Campsite gate.

The sites are great clean and tidy
The sites are great clean and tidy, the only down fall to new would be the price of the sites and it feels a little bit regimented.
All the sites I’ve been too have everything we require for a long or short stay.
Over all a good experience and have joined agin this year.
