First: don’t buy bows for target at Cabela. Cabela sends stuff for margin and they don’t care what is happening after the sale. Between Cabela and the parent who buys a compound bow that draws 50-70 l... Zobacz więcej

I purchased a pair of Adidas…
I purchased a pair of Adidas work/hiking boots. I only had them nine months but only wore them three months later and the sole came apart from the shoe. This was the second time that I purchased this exact shoe and had the same problem. Customer service said since I had them longer than six months there is nothing they can do about it. They said they have standards about warranty's. So do I. I will never purchased another item from Cabellas or Adidas.
Doesn't Provide Receipts with Online Orders
I ordered two shirts from Cabela's. They were delivered a couple of weeks after I made the order WITH NO PAPERWORK. There was nothing in the package with the shirts. NO RECEIPT. NO INSTRUCTIONS ON RETURN. How can a major retailer be so inept? I can't believe Cabela's is serious about online sales when they can't do something that every other retailer delivers.
When I purchased work pants for my…
When I purchased work pants for my autistic son, I bought 3 pairs, one pair was a size 48 and the other two were 46's. When I went through check out I specifically asked the cashier how long I had to make either an exchange or return. He told me NINETY DAY.. .
Well, guess he had not a clue. It's sixty days, and being that our store has been closed due to a fire in the storage part of the building, and not open to the public, I ended up missing out on almost being close to the sixty days, but I didn't call and talk to someone until the ninety days was down to, day ninety. (Because I figured THE PERSON AT THE REGISTER KNEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT!)
The person whom I spoke with had to check with her Supervisor, and also told me that the return policy was sixty days, NOT ninety days, as I had previously been told by a Cabellas Associate. Even though our local store has been closed for THREE weeks, (closer to my sixty days for the return), due to an electrical fire, they couldn't or WOULDN'T,
CUT me any SLACK.
Even though their employee was wrong. NO GIVING THE CUSTOMER THE BENEFIT. NOPE. TOO DIFFICULT for a money mongering mega store.
Some stores will be CLEVER and ASTUTE and have GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. . . Not CABELLAS! SO, screw them! NOT shopping there anymore. I will go somewhere more expensive and PAY for my EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
IF, I wish, if there was a way to give them one third of a star, I WOULD!
P.S. the Marysville, WA store is closed until whenever they want to get the work done, there is no information on their website OR the door.
I ordered 3 sleeping bags
I ordered 3 sleeping bags, got one. I will be visiting bass pro in little rock. not gonna mess with a bunch of halfwits at customer service
Cabela's Advertised Shipping Dates (and some product descriptions) are Dishonest
First, I understand that both supply chains and last-mile delivery services are about as stable as a pile of dollar-store grape jelly on an Arizona driveway right now. Everyone's struggling and scrambling, which is why it was important to me to get an accurate estimated delivery date on my order for hunting clothes. Two competing brands stated on their websites (clearly) that they were running behind in shipping; Cabelas said "order by (time) on the 18th for delivery on the 21st". That, and having a gift card for Cabelas, prompted me to go with them.
It's now the 23rd, and the item still hasn't shipped. I pointed out to customer service that I was just as bothered by their refusal to be honest on their shipping/stock turnarounds as I am by the fact that I have no hunting pants for this season, (note, I tried ordering them weeks ago but the order was taken, then cancelled because the pants were out of stock.)
One time I called I was told the pants were being sent on a warehouse truck from a store, and given an incorrect tracking number (I am NOT in PA). Another time I was told my order had been expedited, but that was on the 20th. I decided I was going to contact Customer Service every day until either they changed their advertised delivery dates, I got an accurate tracking number, or I had enough of a collection of excuses/red herrings to bind into a book titled "25 Ways To Treat Your Long-Time Customers Like Crap". Since I happen to write garbage like that for a living, I can at least feel grateful for the inspiration.
By the way, an item I'd ordered with another purchase was NOT as described... a so-called fleece 3/4 zip "jacket" that turned out to be thinner than a cycling jersey, with arms that wouldn't accommodate someone who had relied on Cabela's-grade fulfillment practices for, say, muscle-gain protein powder.
Customer service personnnel have run the gamut from helpful and horrified to apparently high on Chinese mothball fumes. One sent me a $20 gift credit, which is awesome, but I'd have gladly cashed it in for overnight shipping if I'd had the option, but apparently even premium shipping options leave customers pantsless for weeks.
I wish I'd gone with the retailers who are honest about their fulfillment challenges. They deserve props for their integrity.
I weep for Sportsman's Warehouse fans, because Bass Pro/Cabelas recently purchased that brand. And I'm thankful we now have a Scheel's nearby, because MAYBE I can get decent ladies' hunting pants in medium or large before the hunting season is wrapped up here in Montana. First world problems, I know, but rather than spending Opening Day out in the rain and mud, I'm sitting here venting on a 3-rd party review site, feeling like an absolute Karen.
DO NOT
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT patronize Cabela's in Northern Berks Co.
I took my wife there to purchase some winter jeans, and just as were entering the store, there were 3 weapon dept. employees sitting out side pointing what looked like weapons at the people entering the store. ( no way to tell if they were real or props) After informing management of the unsafe practice, I was told they were dummy weapons to demonstrate scopes, and nothing to be concerned about. ANY TIME SOMEONE POINTS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A WEAPON AT PEOPLE, IT IS TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT!!!! I asked to file a FORMAL COMPLAINT, and Management told me they would talk to the employees. I asked to be informed what the outcome is going to be, and I was told in a somewhat RUDE manner that they do not discuss personal decisions. There was NO WAY of telling if these were real, or fake, the only way to know was the employees had on store shirts. I will never spend any money there again!!

I bought a rifle scope in February I just tried to sight my rifle in October. Scope defective. They told me there was nothing they good do for me because the 60 days have gone by. Told me I had to contact maker of scope. I’m was not looking for much I paid for it and i want it to work. Really unhappy about it
Since bass pro shop bought out Cabela’s it’s not a Hunting pro shop no more they just sell garbage…
Since bass pro shop bought out Cabela’s it went downhill 75% you cannot even buy good hunting clothes anymore all imitation polyester cotton from China and Hong Kong nothing American. I used to buy my wools Hunting Close they don’t even carry. The people working there on the floor has no clue about hunting or fishing it’s sad when you ask a question and no one can answer it. It used to be my number one store now it’s at the bottom of the list. I even called Customer Service several times asking about wool clothing no one could give me an answer this is supposed to be a professional Hunting store.
Sexist Boot Selection
I live in Northern Alberta in a fly-in community for 12 weeks out of the year, Fox Lake, where temperatures can get as low as -50. I find the boot selection for women disproportionate and downright sexist. Not only were there no options for “Bog” style boots, which are water resistant and insulated for -60, but there were 3 options for men, all at prices lower than $200. The closest comparable price for a woman’s winter boot that can actually withstand lower than -40 was $250. It’s 2021, get some new boot designs. WOMEN GET COLD FEET TOO.
Cabalas has always been good to me.

I ordered a Garmin inreach mini for an upcoming solo wilderness trip. I ordered this life saving device with plenty of time before I was leaving, especially since they gave me free 2 day shipping. After 10 days this showed up just before my trip, phew! Well, the box was ripped and inside was the fake, hollow floor display model. I paid over $350 for a piece of plastic. None left in the company, and no upgrade or overnight. They can not help me. I will return this in hope they dont think I switched it out. They said they would make a note, thanks Cabelas!

Ordered a simple LH frog and a couple hooks. Was told I could pick up in 5 business days. Two weeks later I called and my order has still not arrived but they said it would arrive the following day. I drove there only to find out it still hasn't arrived. The excuse they gave was its stuck in a warehouse somewhere and they need to re-order so were back at square one. This is my first and last online purchase from Cabela's.
Received a camp chef stove
Received a camp chef stove, which had the appearance of used. Contacted customer service which was very unconcerned. Offered me 20.00 off and no warranty! I don't think I will do business with these guys again! The customer service rep. appeared used also as she could care less as she just signed off!
Hideous service high prices
Bad enough their prices are the highest on the internet, Cabela's / Bass Pro Shop have exactly zero control over their internet inventory on hand. Evidently the rifle I ordered is out of stock yet is STILL being shown as in stock even after they cancelled my order. This is plain and simple ineptitude and incompetence.
Even the woman who took my phone order and confirmed my veteran's discount, and read me all the rules pertaining to firearms purchases, took my credit card info, confirmed delivery to my closest Bass Pro store would be 10-12 days, etc. ...all of which was a solid 15 - 20 minutes... knew nothing about this rifle being out of stock. In fact ALL The Winchester 1873 models were out of stock but orders are still being taken and cancelled.
This was my first and Last Order with Cabela's / Bass Pro shops. My 1,800 facebook followers and all my firearms friends & contacts now know Cabela's / Bass Pro is the last place to shop.
Here's the email they sent me 24 hours later:
"There's been an update to your order"
"Your Order has Been Canceled
Unfortunately, this item is not available. You were not charged for this item as it did not ship. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please contact us with any additional questions."
Yeah..here's a question: why even bother with you ever again?
Deceiving
Deceiving
It’s a second time that I placed the order for merchandise in stock to find out later that it is OUT of a stock and my order was cancelled.
Rude
I was at the Hazelwood Cabelas and there was a worker behind customer service named Bryan. The way he talked to his co workers is so bad. He kept telling them how they weren’t doing anything right and making his job harder for him. At one point he even stormed off. When he came back in he started yelling at the other employees behind customer service. I use to go to that location all the time, but now I hope that one closes when they open up the new bass pro

Gift Card Scam??
I was checking balances on gift cards from this past few months, and when I called Cabela's they told me the card (sitting in the same exact spot for a few months) had a $0 balance. Haven't been to a Cabela's in years, and ordering online would have been probably cost half of that in shipping. Basically, waiting till I made the 2.5 hour trip. Either way, no chance it would have a 0 balance. The man who answered customer service was great, and was equally surprised as to how this happened. After talking to a "higher up", i assume, he tells me that she said the card was used for an online purchase on a date that I wasn't even home. And, all she could say is that is was used "online". Are you kidding me? No product name? No buyer name? No shipping address? No e-mail for "future specials"?? They offered a $20 coupon. I don't think so. I, nor my hunting buddies, will ever consider buying anything from this place. Wish I'd have gotten his name, but guy from customer service was really helpful. I'm sure it won't affect him when 4-5 of my hunting buddies who go to West Virginia every year to buy their guns/archery equipment go elsewhere.
Like many others
Like many others, ordered for my hem because of their “guaranteed delivery date” which I think by now most realize is a scam to get sales. Not only did they miss the delivery date, they state it was delivered two days after the guarantee but the package is nowhere to be found. Ordered it for a special trip and Cabelas didn’t live up to their stated delivery date. Amazon prime for me from now on. Learnt my lesson
