I have been spammed ever since I joined this lousy company's credit card...And this place sells our email addresses to some real low-life vendors...they are a sick company with no regard for their customers.

Cabela's/Bass pro is happy to give you Covid and a credit card

My fiance works for Cabela's/Bass Pro he got sick (COVID) after getting sick he found out that 2 other employees he works in close proximity with had it before him 1 was even hospitalized, they never told any one that they had been exposed, they did no cleaning disinfecting, they don't ask the employees who have been exposed to wear mask so not only do they not give a care about there employees and there family, but they aren't trying to protect the customer or there families, however I was in the store waiting on my fiance one day holding one of his extra work shirts while I waited in about a 20 min time frame 7 different employees approached me to ask if I wanted to apply for a credit card ( mind you I was holding a shirt with the company logo, that was clearly a employees shirt) I got so tired of it I left the store

I ordered 2 life jackets and received 1.

I ordered 2 life jackets and 2 water sox for a special weekend trip. I gave plenty of time for shipping. One life jacket, my daughters the most important one still hasn't arrived. I gave 3 stars because the prices were reasonable and I did get 3 on time. I don't trust them with shipping important items in the future. The tracking # has not been updated with an arrival date. I ordered 2 weeks ago the expected delivery date was 3-5 days.

They charge extra for express shipping

They charge extra for express shipping. Then it shows up a week later than it was supposed to. After talking to Missy with customer service they cannot guarantee it will arrive on time. They have no problem taking the extra money. Save your money and order from Amazon.

i was in cabelas today at noblesville indiana the three guys behind the gun counter i wouldnt have them sell sweet corn on the corner they were rude un helpful and plan lazy or ignorant on product and service i will never shop another cabelas again i love the one in dundee michigan but like they say one bad apple spoils the whole lot.

Employees at BassPro and Cabella's in…

Employees at BassPro and Cabella's in Rogers AR are forbidden to wear masks, told to "put on a happy face" Meanwhile, NWA is one of the top three hot spots for COVID in the US. They don't give a damn about either their employees or their customers. I will never shop there again.

Drove an hour each way to the Cabela’s in Chicagoland Hoffman Estates looking for a bilige pump for my boat and a keel roller first off you couldn’t get anybody to answer a question about whether they had anything in stock and after lengthy surveying the whole Marine area there’s nothing there all the products and all the shelves are empty at least half empty limited amount of rollers when there should be a whole line to accommodate customers no bilge pumps never heard of a marine section they didn’t have bilge pump that’s like Marine 101 and on top of that you couldn’t get anybody to even answer a question whether they had it ,one guy there was busy talking to other customers and nobody else seem to want to come over to help ,poor customer service, poor inventory ,what an awful experience I would give a zero if I could

Each time I've made a purchase I've been thrown back into Cabela's SPAM engine and forced to opt-out again and again. I'm sure their Marketing department believed the garbage they send increases sales but what they need to understand is that I went to them and being harassed by their Nazi propaganda machine is driving customers away. If I could give a negative rating I would. Have not used Cabelas in years. What has happened to them? This is by far the worst, most unorganized company. When you order something they have no tracking on your items. Ever! I'm not going to write a long story just avoid them at all costs and do yourself a favor.

I was disappointed to see the Barrie…

I was disappointed to see the Barrie store admitting people without a mask last Saturday. I had travelled as long way to shop and, when I asked the greeter, she said that they advise people who refuse to mask to keep their distance and that the store had no choice ( this is legally untrue in Ontario as any store can legally refuse entry on health and safety grounds - which I witnessed happen at Canadian Tire in Barrie ). Bottom line - store wants your money snd doesn’t care about public health and safety - Huge disappointment in these times

If I could give them a negative rating…

If I could give them a negative rating I would! Placed an order for 12 lures with a guaranteed ship date and they hit the date but only sent 5 lures. Called and they said they were overnighting the rest seeing how I had a tournament 2 days later. This time only 1 of the 5 showed up and the rest were supposed to show up the following Monday. This place has become the exact opposite of what they once were! From now on Frank's gets my business!

I used to be an extremely loyal Cabelas customer.
I'm finished.
Cabelas used to be a FANTASTIC store, and I never shopped anywhere else. Now, I shop everywhere else. I called Cabelas asking for my purchase history because my basement flooded and I lost a lot of gear. Cabelas said their system only allowed them to go back a month. I asked the same thing of REI, and they went back 10 years!
Just not the same service or the same store.

I guess Cabela's/Bass Pro is now in the business of False Advertising. I was scope shopping online. I found one I was interested in for $99.97. When I added it to my cart it showed $149.97. I emailed Cabela's and send screen shots of the issue. I was told they would not honor the ADVERTISED PRICE of $99.97 and I will have to pay $149.97. They will be getting no more of my business. This is not even Bait and Switch. It is a clear case of False Advertising.

So I thought with covid the smartest thing to do was to order from the Winnipeg location and have it delivered. Thinking that since we are both in the same city it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
Unfortunately the Eggheads at Cabela's thinks the smartest thing to do is it centralize their shipped items out of Calgary despite all the items I ordered are sitting on their shelves in Winnipeg. So not only does that explain the shipping charges and the 3 weeks it's going to take to ship it they also have opted to ship it by UPS. Easily the worst courier in the business. It took them 5 days to pack the order. Now it will take UPS a week to pick it up. So much for camping this season.
Thanks Cabela's for being stupid.

Avoid Cabela's!

The short answer: Cabela’s s***s!

I bought a pair of Cabela’s stocking foot waders about 5 years ago for fly fishing. My prior waders had been a pair of neoprene boot-foot from Cabela’s. I got around 20 years out of them, so I expected new ones to last as well. I am busy, so am lucky if I get out once or twice a year. There are years are do not get out at all. The left leg of the new waders started leaking after the 3rd or 4th use. This was completely unacceptable, but I did not feel like dealing with their Customer Service, and didn’t try to return them. The next year, the right leg started leaking. The old ones had also leaked in one leg—but not until I had used them many more times—and that leak was intermittent. Sometimes they leaked, sometimes they did not. I was hoping the leaks in this pair would be intermittent—but they are not.

I called their Customer Service recently to see about getting a refund. Apparently, Cabela’s used to have a lifetime warranty on waders, but does not any more. The CS rep said that—since I do not have a receipt—I should take them to a local store. She said that if they did not show inappropriate wear, the store would refund my money. That seemed liked good customer service. These waders are immaculate. After each use, I dry them in my living room (and on my balcony, if it is nice) for days. I turn the cuff inside out. After the entire outside is dry, I turn the waders completely inside out and let the inside dry. I store them in a bag, in a closet in my living room.

I have tried to find the leaks by holding them under running water in the tub. Nothing. I suspect the leak is at the seam with the stocking foot. That is about the depth of water they start to leak in. But there is nothing apparent.

The experience at the store today in Sun Prairie was nothing short of horrible. The young gal at the desk—without even looking at them—said there was nothing she would do. I had to beg her to get a manager. A manager was paged. He—Doug, his name tag said—rolled his eyes at my tale of woe. He said the issue was no receipt, then said even with a receipt it had been too long. Though they were likely purchased during the era when the lifetime warranty was still being offered, he would not honor that. He also refused to look at them, and said how I cared for them and the number of uses were irrelevant. The amount of elapsed time was the issue. What a douche bag! I hate being lumped in with people who abuse a store’s return policy. I get why time limits exist—though it should not apply to these waders. A return policy should be tailored to the individual, and the item in question. He offered me $50—take it or leave it.

I left it. And will not go back. This company s***s. Bass Pro has ruined what used to be a high quality business. And their CS people need some training.

OH! Doug’s comeback was to tell me I was a jerk for not trying to get my money back on the Gander Mountain carry bag I used for my waders. A bag, mind you, that was bought in 1988—and is in perfect shape. Thank you, Gander Mountain.

Bought boots with a lifetime warranty a…

Bought boots with a lifetime warranty a few yrs back. I emphasize “lifetime” warranty. I was told since the boots were from 2018 that they no longer fall under the warranty. Don’t call something lifetime and not honor it a couple years later. Between the price gouging and the terrible product quality I will not be spending anymore time or money at Cabelas, the former shell of a good store.

Place order 6-5 today is 6-18 was told my order will be 5to8 days to arrive to store called today lady tells me give it another week like ok I needed my order last week than she tells me well our website is not working correctly it should say 14days well today makes 13 days still no update I will never buy anything from them again sick of the lies this company makes

Really long delivery times, lost item

I ordered a gps that cost $500 and a pair of $30 shorts at the same time over a month ago. The shorts arrived timely, the go's is still no where to be found. It hasn't been delivered nor can they track it. The gps I ordered is now out of stock so the best they can do for me is tell me, "Well it was ordered so it should be delivered soon" awful

rip off

I ordered an expensive item that I needed quickly. Their site said it was in stock and they said it would ship the same day. After multiple attempts to find out why I never received it I was told it actually was not in stock and had to be back ordered and they could not tell me when I may receive it. At present I do not know if I’ll ever receive it. I hate such dishonesty and will not do business with them again.

Augusta GA store

Augusta GA store: Terrible store with substandard customer service. Some of the staff there are completely rude and offensive. There is obvious price gouging with prices much higher than other stores resembling notorious websites. Just a terrible store.
