I ordered ordinary 380 auto ammo but they sent me just the bullet projectile and claimed that is what I ordered, I explained to customer service that they advertised ordinary 380 ammo online for the order but he still didn't see it. They are deceptive on what they advertise just to sell their products.

I don't know why all the poor reviews. I ordered my 22 ammo on Thursday at 4 PM when it became available in stock, and it was sitting at my house Monday morning via Fedex. If that's not excellent customer service I don't know what is. Thanks Brownells, I'll be back!
I thought this company was great until…
I thought this company was great until I had to make a return. It was my first and last return because I'll never deal with them again! I shipped back a $300 scope mount and even after they received it over a week ago, I still haven't received my money! I called and left a message twice on their useless "call back" system and no one called me back. It wasn't until I called their departmental line that someone actually picked up. Even then, they were absolutely of zero help! The supervisor was rude and unapologetic!!! Needless to say I got nowhere and they still have my money. Sorry to say it but I'll never do business with them again, I'll stick with Midway USA, Cabelas and Optics Planet etc. I should've checked their reviews sooner and maybe I wouldn't be so surprised.
Terrible customer service
I have ordered a glock 26 slide that's optic ready and when I received a delivery update which was 4days earlier than expected date. But of course package was nowhere to be found. Long story short in the beginning they were sure to let me have my slide after a little wait. It has been almost 2 month and they claimed today there is nothing they can do. What a disappointment with this company and such a irresponsible result. If anybody is considering to order anything take this review as serious consideration. Their customer service i have to say it's one of the worst in firearm industry.

The worst, more than worst! Pete ruined everything his dad had done. Order a tiny front Kovak front sight and they said the driver put it by my front door not in my mailbox.just stupid. Services sucks ass please for God sake do not do anything with this company, don't even use the bathroom because you'll maybe get a refund and that's the only one they'll give you if you catch my drift. I'm not kidding. So tiny pete/go back to petting your cat and let someone else run this piece of crap company. And service are a bunch of indoor astronuats, no help and bad breath a rude little wussy.

Avoid this company
Truly horrible experience this week on an order for a Leupold LTO 2 HD. Ordered Monday of this week after calling to confirm the item was actually in stock. Paid for next day delivery. Come Thursday and despite the order showing as 'shipped', there was no tracking number and no product. Multiple chats and calls to customer service. Latest was that a new order was created and it would go out Friday 'at the latest' and would have Saturday deliver specified. These folks charged my card more than $1300 already. Literally one of the worst online purchase experiences I have had.
Update - item was shipped on Friday, but weekend delivery was NOT specified despite being told in writing by CSR that that would be done. So instead of having this 3 days ago in advance of a hunt, it will be sitting on my porch until a get back.
Disingenuous and deceptive practices.
Ordered 2 items which the website clearly advertised as "In Stock". Delivery date was given. We are now 2 weeks past the delivery date and still no items. Emailed Brownells multiple times and received no response. Finally was able to navigate to my order which is now listed as "On Backorder". Bait and switch. Lousy customer service. Very unhappy.
Missing Parts
I received a order of springs for a 1911A1 Wednesday before last. The package was not sealed and a spring was missing. I contacted Brownell Thursday about the issue and was told a different department would call me back. 8 days later i have had no one from Brownell contact me about this. Each time I have contacted them about it I get the same answer about someone will contact me.
Today i finally got thru to someone to help. in defensce of Brownell they were afftected earlier this week to storm damage and did not have power for a couple of days.

Ordered item they said would fit according to the Q &A section. It did not.
Ordered another part based on a video they posted. Received different part. I called their number. The automated system set it up to call me back. They never did. I called their Tech department a day later and got the exact opposite information than the video described.
I tried to return second item by calling them and getting the process started. They said they would send a shipping label by mail to me for the return.
I then called 2 days later to start the process of returning the first item. I was told they would e mail a shipping label to me,and this is only way it is done. I ask them to check on the progress of the first return. They told me nothing was being done.
The worse customer service I have ever dealt with. It is as if they have no clue what they doing and don't care about the customer. They seem to be just selling parts and hope you don't return it if you get the wrong one. The whole ordeal just screams at me they don't care. Do yourself a favor do not get involved with these people.
First experience a horrible one
Wish I had looked here first because my experience has been the same as countless others. I ordered a few magazines on 7/14, and as everyone else stated they took a few days to ship. Got an email that my package had been delivered but I had nothing at my door. Contacted them and they said their records showed the same and it would take 30 to 90 days to investigate and come up with a resolution. Not acceptable at all, I guess I will have to dispute this with my financial institution to get a refund. Extremely poor business practices.

My order took so long, after 30 days I canceled and they were understanding and refunded the money, cool right?
Another week goes by and the package shows up. The right thing to do is send it back to them, so I called I talked to a woman who was argumentative, having a bad day and turned this into a negative for me and her company. I have had a similar experience each time I call. What's going on at Brownells customer service?
Ordered 3 guns.. Never shipped , No Communication
Ordered 3 guns... after going thru there verify process with 54 people ahead of me, I do the dance only to find out a week later by me asking 2/3 guns I ordered canceled and want me to call them again about the gun they did not cancel. Terrible business and find a place that takes the customer seriously and communicates better.

Ordered parts on 6/23/20 7/4/20 still didn’t receive them customer service would not help was told they would resend the order 2 days later found out that was a lie. Called customer several times after waiting on hold for an hour was told to call the postal service. Would not refill the order or give me a refund.

Been a customer for 30 years
Been a customer for 30 years. I ordered 10/22 parts on 6-29-20. Pkg has been in Kansas MO from 7-1-20 to 7-10-20 (today). Still there & not moving. Mail innovations shipping does not work.......period. I'm going to reverse charges.
This is the 2nd time this happened. Last time barrels arrived sticking out of a square box with no packing & were damaged on the muzzle ends, They use to ship barrels in round cardboard tubes.
Franks son, Pete destroyed Brownells. Total collapse has been in the making for the last 10 years. Never going back

Ordered an aluminum spacer for my PC9 stock through them and it got stuck at a sorting center for 2 weeks because of the shipping method they chose. When I went to the office, they told me it never showed up and to take it up with brownells, so I did. Got a representative via the online chat who assured me they'd make it right and they'd get back to me the following Monday. They did not. It randomly showed up a week later with no further tracking scans. They charge too much for shipping thru UPS Mail Innovations, which also sucks. And apparently they ship entire guns through the mail and those get lost too! Insanity.

Only putting 1 Star because it won’t let me put 0. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Waited on the line for an hour just to talk to a representative and was then transferred to the “support team” where I’ve now been on hold for an hour. To top it off, I placed an order 2 weeks ago and it has yet to arrive....spent 2 different 5 day periods at 2 different locations....thus the reason for my call today. Do yourself s favor and don’t waste your time or money with this company!
