Never buy anything here! The things I purchased here are all wrong versions and no refunds will be given. Gosh, don't be fooled by them. They are also sold. I need to use it urgently. After waiting a long time, I told me to send lower quality mail. I can only buy from other more professional shops. The quality sent to me by solventtrapfuelfilter.com cannot be said to be particularly good, at least it is worth it.

Bought an item and Fed Ex sent it to the wrong address. Happens.

But after that, Brownells dropped the ball. Didn't return emails or calls.

The days went by with no money and no product. Brownells didn't care.

Finally had to call the credit card company and reverse the charge.

They have degraded in service in my opinion.
MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE SHIPPING insurances! if you decide to buy from Brownells.
they will blame everyone else and make you wait months to settle any damaged, lost, stolen, and undeliverable packages. They have been taking forever to deliver items.

The only place I can find my 308 ammo was Brownells. After reading some reviews, I took a chance and ordered two boxes. They arrived as promised. I ordered another two boxes and they also arrived as promised. My experience was great.

Terrible experience. Placed an order for handgun ammunition. Checked out and paid for the item and received an email confirmation. Then about 30 minutes later I receive a notification that the order was cancelled. When I placed the order, the item was in stock for over 10 minutes. How did my order get cancelled?? Their customer service representative told me they don't track their inventory in real-time. Poor excuse and something that they need to fix immediately. More and more pissed off customers having bad experience with this company and their terrible website service. Why advertise things you can't sell?

I placed an order yesterday morning and paid an extra $30 for next day delivery. They didn’t ship it out until today because of a “snowstorm” and now it won’t get here for another four days. I was never notified that they would not be able to honor next day shipping and they are refusing to refund me the $30 I paid for shipping. Do not recommend, never do business with this company

Ordered ammo on January 29th. Received three emails confirming the order. Never received a shipping notification so I contacted them via chat for a status.
Their reply was "It was cancelled due to stock" I asked why haven't I been notified and only now finding out? Their reply "Due to order cancellations it can take a while" I asked if they would offer anything for the inconvenience. Their reply "You can always type coupons in the search engine or sign up for our emails to get codes"
Just with those replies you can tell they don't give a damn about their customer.
Oh and I have the transcript to back this up.

Brownells is only an hour drive from me, and while I wish I could continue to purchase my items "locally," I can not stand for such bad service. I purchased a gas block from Brownells and received it in a satisfactory amount of time. However, when I went to install the part on my rifle, I realized that the set screws were missing. I proceeded to email Brownells about this issue (to which I still have not received a reply), and decided to hop on their Live Chat function a few days later when I had not received a reply to my email. I asked the representative, John(?) what my options were for getting the set screws mailed to me. Instead of offering to replace the product or just send me the screws (which I would have been extremely happy with), he advised that they have a set screw kit that I could purchase (at a cost of $45 plus shipping.) I asked why I would purchase a $45 set of screws when I was sent a defective product (which would have doubled the overall cost of the gas block), and he said it was just a suggestion and asked if there was anything else he could help me with. Never offered a refund, replacement, or return. Are you kidding me? Brownells has such great potential, they have a great facility which I have visited a few times, and will now never see another dime of mine, or my friend's money. Over set screws. Way to go, Brownells.

Horrific customer service! Placed an order on Sunday, didn’t expect it to ship since it was on a weekend. Tuesday logged in and notice the order was on hold still so I contacted customer support. Lady was very friendly and told me it would ship out Wednesday. Thursday noticed order still on hold, once again contacted customer support except this time they weren’t so friendly. Was pretty much was told it’ll ship when it ships. Well here it is Friday and guess what, order is still on hold. Contacted customer support again, got the same answer as before. Should have listened to the other reviews. Will no longer do business with Brownells. What a joke this company is!!

I ordered a $200 case of primers and a $6 chamber gauge from Brownells. With no notification, they cancelled the primers in my order, yet proceeded to ship the remaining small $6 gauge with an excessive $10 shipping charge. Despite me contacting them the same day (I only found out about the cancellation by checking the order status on the site), Brownells could not cancel the order and stop the shipment.

Brownells reroutes the package back to themselves and refunds me only $6 for the item. I then have to call again to get reimbursed for the $10 shipping charge. It took 2 weeks and 7 phone calls later to get my money back and correct their mistake of shipping a modified order without customer approval.

Apparently the company policy is to cancel items that are out of stock and process the remainder of the order. If you placed an order and Brownells changed it, wouldn't you like to have a say as to whether you still want it or not? Until they change their automated systems and cancelled item policies, I will not be shopping here again.

I belong to the 79% who are dissatisfied with Brownells. I fully concur with all of the bad reviews, and find the extremely low amount of good ones either extremely lucky customers, or shills. The excuse they give when you can actually reach customer disservice is that they are way behind. Put off, and more put off. I think they only remedy is to write reviews here, contact BBB, and then contact Iowa Attorney General Office of Consumer Complaints. There is an online form you can fill out. You can also contact your own state's equivalent. Fraud across state lines is is a Federal issue and carries with it Federal pressure and penalties.

Ordered 2 items at $48 total and the items were damaged in shipment by FEDEX. I sent in the photos as requested. Customer service explained that company policy is to wait for the claims process (30 days) unless shipping protection was purchased. FEDEX automatically covers $100, so why would a customer pay for protection if the package is less than $100? They chose the shipper, not me. This policy is unethical at best and displays horrendously poor customer service. A good company would issue an RMA and ship out new product. I’ll never purchase from Brownell’s again.

Is there a minis 100 I could give. Anyway we called to cancel an order before it was shipped and of course they couldn't cancel. We sent the item back a month ago and still have not received our credit. They are backlogged on giving money back but have no problem receiving it. I also ordered ammunition they had in stock and even got a confirmation code only for them to cancel without notice. Obviously they have no money.

I ordered over $100 worth of gear from this place only to have FedEx not deliver it. Tried to contact FedEx but was told they would only work with Brownells when filing a claim. Contacted Brownells and was told to buy shipping insurance the next time. So I basically lost over $100. This company is worthless. Never again will order from this place.

Fuir fuir fuir...étonnant que cette societé soit toujours en ligne, mais ils sont bien connues des autorités pour de tres tres nombreux cas de signalés !

Confirms orders, and then cancels. Unreliable.

After months of back and forth emails I called to resolve the matter of them cancelling my order without notice there were 191 people ahead of me in the queue. I’m not going to wait on hold all day long to get a credit that they charged for shipping protection on an item they NEVER shipped. This company has lost a customer for all of my future orders. This is perhaps the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. With 191 people ahead of me on the call I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this company probably going to loose a lot of customers. Congrats.

I have ordered many items from Brownell's, and highly recommend them. Every item I have gotten has worked as described and was at a decent price. Even items that were on backorder were delivered in a relatively short time.

I ordered 5 magazines for my M1A. Had I known they would use FedEx Smartpost, I never would have ordered. This must be the worst way of shipping in the world. It took 7 days to go 200 miles! I could have ridden a bicycle faster. Crap. Just crap.
