Terrible company with bad business practices. Placed an order for a case of pro grib at 8am, found it 50% cheaper so called at 9am when customer service opened to cancel the order. They said it was already processed and I could return it after it shipped. Guess what it was not eligible for return once it shipped. This company sucks

You guys use to be very good place to buy anything gun related last year I purchased a rifle from you you guys I paid full price you guys then placed the rifle on sale I contacted your office you guys did not even bother to call back, I just called this morning for and order that I paced over the weekend left a call back number one of you representatives called back playing stupid that could not hear me, I never have issues with this phone I have been on the phone all morning, your customer services is horrible I will not spend another penny with you guys I remind you there are a lot of other retailers out there selling the same for better price and excellent customer service
Brownells shipping sucks!
First off I live in Ankeny, 60 miles west of Grinnell. I order a trigger from Brownells. It was shipped to Brooklyn Park, MN, sat there for three days, was then shipped to Kansas City, MO, after three day it got shipped to Ankeny where it got shipped to West Des Moines, finally shipped back to Ankeny. It took 11 days to get to my mailbox! I will not order again from Brownells! Brownells wants you to but there EDGE shipping for $49 to get better shipping, not happening.

Was supposed to get my item today by 8PM.. One facility had my package for 2 days, then another for 2 days. USPS was notified electronically, so package is still not there.. I was referred to this company by a friends some years ago, I should have looked at the reviews first. Lesson learned
Horrible Experience - Buy Elsewhere!
I gave Brownells a try and ordered 2 PMAGs. It took them a little while to even get the item shipped out and when they finally did the shipping is taking forever. The literally got the slowest and cheapest possible shipping method to send the item to me and I paid $5 for shipping!! Its been over 10 days since placing my order and still no sign of my package (It was expected days ago). Their customer service told me that it was my responsibility to locate the package and didn't bother to tell me what they could do to help me out. All of this over 2 rifle magazines. Will not be using them again & would definitely not recommend. Listen to the other reviews and steer clear of them.
Customer service? "Just wait longer"
I ordered a sling and I received an email from them that it will deliver yesterday. Cool. Yesterday came and went no delivery. Today, no delivery. Contacted my Post Office and they said UPS didn't deliver it to them. Tried to contact UPS but they offer no service for this type of delivery. Contacted Brownell's, "Just wait another week." I'm about to contact my bank and have the charge reversed.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I returned an item over a month ago and absolutely no contact from Brownells, nevemind a refund. I've contact them 5 times, 3 emails, (no reply) and 2 phone calls. Each time I get a auto-reply stating they will look into it and let me know. They just lost a good paying customer.
Waiting forever
Let's see honest experience. I ordered a feed tube spring for my ks7. Not to hard just a spring about 30inches long I'm guessing they said I need to trim it. Well that was close to 3weeks ago. When someone orders parts how long do you guys wait ti acrually mail stuff a week. Because that's bulls÷$t. Should have been mailed out same day if not the very next. Wouldnt order from them again EVER

Placed an order and it was cancelled for no reason and no explination. Wont be purchasing from them again. Too many other places to find the same products at the same or lower prices.
Very slow turnaround, poor customer service.
I ordered a bolt / trigger spring from Brownells. And waited for them to ship it. And waited. Sent an email, just got the automated response. Waited some more. Sent another email, got another automated response. Finally they sent a tracking number, but per that tracking number they had not yet dropped the package with the carrier. Waited some more. At this point I ordered a spring from another vendor. It shipped. It came in. I installed it, and the firearm has been back in service for about 3 weeks. Today the spring from Brownells came in. I am sure it is a very fine spring, but what use is it to me? They need to step up their game, both in terms of turn around time and customer service.

Ordered a poly 80 serialized had problems with the build I believe I have a defective locking block contacted brownells they gave me the run around refered me to poly80 but they dont answer emails or phone , called brownells again they told me had to speak to a supervisor but they were not available the first time I called they said the same thing .Im still waiting for call back twice they told me a supervisor would call nothing .First and last time I buy from brownells zero help .lost my biz never again will I buy anything from brownells. Don’t bother with gift cards
Don’t bother with gift cards! My parents ordered me a gift card (an email) and after 2 days I didn’t receive it. So I contacted Brownells customer support and they said the email would be sent FIVE DAYS after ordering! Unbelievable and illogical.

I was kinda shocked by the low reviews on here, as I have always been impressed with Brownells and most big gun influencers like iraqvetern8888 and others use them. Even during the coronavirus crisis, they shipped my gun and mags in 3 days! That's all I have too say.
Ordered a week ago
Ordered a week ago, I call a couple of days after and they said it should ship on 3/30. I got an email yesterday telling me to call them about the order. I called 3:00 my time (Pacific) and they said that the department i talked to had left. I called back this morning at 7:15, had the shortest wait (5 minutes), then was transferred to the department. The lady asked me for my shipping and billing information again and wanted me to verify the items i ordered and the last 4 of the credit card I used. I asked to speak to her supervisor, as it was steaming at this point. She said she was out til this afternoon and I could wait for a call back. I was done waiting. She said it should ship in a couple of days. I finally had enough and cancelled the order. The absolute worst customer service and not easy to do business with. In this day and age the reason you use online is for ease of service and they made it absolutely horrible. I should also add that I have only given negative reviews less than five times. That is how irritated I am.

Horrible Horrible Customer Service. They absolutely lie! I placed an order. They took three days to process. Then they said it shipped and included a tracking number. I checked the tracking. USPS said a label was created but had not received package yet. That went on for five days. They finally put it actually in the 7 days after I ordered. It was a simple item that was in stock. They boast of quick shipping. What a joke. I wont use them again. Dont lie to me and tell me its shipped. Shipping does no mean a label was created. It means that it is at the Post Office or Fed Ex or UPS. Pathetic!!!!! If you buy from these guys plan on two weeks to get item. They are only 2 states away from me. Maybe I should have drove up to get it. Pathetic

Ordered a Lee Factory Crimp Die
Ordered a Lee Factory Crimp Die. The item ordered was for a 243 Winchester. The die pictured has an adjusting knob on the top of the die, I own one of these in .223, and love it. Used their enlargement feature to get a better view, to make sure this was the item I wanted. Placed my order based on the photo provided. Dies received were a different style, with no adjustment knob at the top of the die. I own one of these style dies and don't like it. Tried to cancel a backordered item and was quoted policies. Don't know if the other style is no longer available. Think they would update their web site, so you don't order something you don't want, and when you try to correct their error, you get "suck to be you" attitude.
Total Waste of Time
ordered something marked as in stock on website. Added 3 items with their online chat. 5 or 6 hours later, I get an email that the initial item was canceled off the order as it was out of stock. Will have to check my amex card to make sure these clowns don't charge for the canceled order. Total waste of time. Spend a few bucks more with someone who can actually deliver what you purchase.
