Ordered a UPS. After completing the order I was sent a form requiring me to waive my rights under the consumer protection laws. WTF! Why would I want to to that? Had to phone up and cancel order. Waste of time! There are no warnings when you place the order.. this isnt right! Don't order from this company!

Unreliable company. Ordered and paid for an item with next day delivery that we required urgently. They then emailed me late in the day to say they had priced it incorrectly on their website, asking me to pay more or they would cancel the order. We won't be using them again.

Very poor customer service in general, although they managed to get around the matter with a clause in their policy (I ordered a product that was "mis-priced" although inline with other pricing on the Black Friday weekend, to which they contacted and asked for more money via sending a payment link or a refund - which seemed on the surface a phishing scam) I fully admit mistakes can be made, systems go wrong - but it left a sour taste as to the way it was handled, in my opinion, it was formal, cold, unhelpful.

I believe the refund has been issued, so it's resolved - but their communication leaves a lot to be desired.

Not a great experience, I personally will not use them again.

Very impressed! Such an excellent price, free postage and arrived in less than 48 hours. Would definitely use again. Bought a cable for my laptop, works well on first use, is good quality. Delighted!

First time I've used this company and was impressed. Bought ethernet cable (best price found) on the Wednesday, was dispatched with 30 mins of ordering and received next day. Plenty email updates. Can't fault them. 👍

Perfect transaction and couldn't be happier. I recently had a horrible experience with Amazon buying a "new" Exos" drive which arrived DOA and took weeks to get refunded. I decided to try BroadBandBuyer.com to order three new Exos 16TB drives and I kindly asked them to package it well, and had it shipped next day DPD. Not only did they arrive the next day, but the packaging was fantastic. Each drive was encased in a plastic container, and each container was placed in a protective box, then all three boxes were placed in a larger box with padding all around. When I went to go plug the drives in, all three showed 0 hours of use. When I went to verify their warranty with Seagate, all three drives have full warranty until March 2029. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I'll be ordering only from them from now on. Thank you BroadBandBuyer team!

Ordered a TP link Ethernet switch. It was nearly £25/- cheaper than the cheapest you can find on the net and nearly £80/- cheaper than the expensive places on the net. Had doubts about the delivery time and send an email. I got a response within few hours with all the updates of my order. They are responsive and really professional. I received my goods few days before than I expected. Great place.

When it comes to a refund I found this company difficult and time wasters.

To get a refund you have to send photos and then the customer had to pay for posting item back to company.

Ill practice and extremely unprofessional.

Bought some phones for someone else as a favour- what a nightmare! The phones were the same as what they had but were fitted by a professional from BT when the fibre was installed. Installation was asking for IP address and all-sorts. Far too confusing we decided to return then. What an ordeal that was. You only have 14 days to return them. The person we bought them for was away on holiday so only just reached the deadline. Several emails and phone calls later I was asked to send photos of the unused product (all pieces) from various angles with ALL the original packaging. The return cost was down to me (fair enough) but if it got lost in transit I would incur the costs. I ended up sending them signed for and tracked via Royal Mail for my peace of mind.

Received the refund MINUS 10%. I am hoping the people we bought the phones for will reimburse us with the £21 we are now out of pocket. You could say it’s my fault for not reading all the small print but don’t get caught like we did.

I was a bit wary of purchasing through broadbandbuyer based on reviews, but went for it. The price of the item I purchased was the best in the UK (cheaper in Europe, but did not wish to risk hassle of import taxes). Ordering process was good, and email comms ok. Ordered an access point on a Saturday (advised 5 day delivery), but no email re dispatch until Tuesday - which then suggested 5 day delivery again. To my surprise package delivered on Wednesday - so 3 working days. What I did miss was a way (online) to track your order. This did not seem to exist - and that is why I have given 4 stars. Of course could not assess customer support as for this first time one off purchase all went well.

Amazing company coupled with super fast, 1hr timed window delivery by dpd. Purchased power cable at ridiculously low price with free delivery. Estimated delivery 4 to 5 days but arrived within 24 hrs!! Clear notifications throughout purchase and delivery process. Can't be faulted.

Ordered 1 item on Friday expecting NBD delivery. got tracking and it showed my delivery was at the depot 1st thing this morning, and, its still showing the same now @ 16.30. Now to be told that DPD will deliver WEDNESDAY, not NBD but 3 days later...Not good enough

Have always received excellent customer service from everyone at Broadband buyer. The product advice is good and responses to any technical issues has been swift. I would highly recommend.

Purchased 3 items, one of which was 2nd hand. Paid extra for next business day delivery (Friday)

Next day came around, no tracking comms and no delivery happened. Called the company to find out that the 2nd hand item was never in stock in the first place and no one had processed my order or told me otherwise

Paid extra for a brand new item and I was told this would be delivered next day (Saturday) before midday. It wasnt, it didnt arrive until Tuesday. The customer service rep clearly stated it would arrive before midday the Saturday but I can see on the DPD site it was placed as a standard delivery

Save your time and money, just go via amazon

DPD did not follow instructions to leave with a neighbour, claimed they never got the message.
Package was left on my front door step and never seen again.
Spoke to Broadband Buyer and they raised an investigation. Have been promised multiple phonecalls back but nothing. Have now sourced from another supplier and no sign of refund.
Have used this company for years without any issues until now.

UPS as carrier for importer/agent Hypertec FAILED to deliver my £240 Cyberpower UPS instead they dropped it (literately since box was damaged) at a town centre collection point; I only discovered the whereabouts of my order serendipitously (no proper communications) and had to go and get it, they never came to my house. The fault/mistake was 100% UPS/Hypertec, however broadbandbuyer as the etailer that took my money carry responsibility/accountability. Not a great new customer experience.

Resolved by the company and fully refunded. Purchased a hard drive only to discover that it was an " internal hard drive".
I wanted to purchase an external hard drive - removal.
It was opened for less than one minute - resealed in the plastic bag. After searching the web site on return policy - required a special number to attach to the postage address. With my cost I returned with tracked postage.
Was advised refund was approved. Hard drive returned into their warehouse and advised because the plastic was opened I had refund rejected.
No reduced refund for a brand new perfectly working drive.
Instead they sent it back!
What am I going to do with an internal hard drive - I do not want or know how to use.
Ridiculous and unnecessary waste - waste of time - waste of another courier - honestly its so frustrating.
Contacted return dept and relayed my problem- was advised could select an external drive and to call sales - which I did. Unfortunately they do not sell that type of drive. Upon advising the returns dept they have advised they will refund fully. Excellent outcome after a long wasted carry on. The Returns dept manager was apologetic for the fiasco.

I wanted to extend my thanks to our account manager Jon for all his help and knowledge on a day to day basis, also resolving issues if required, His dedication and expertise were instrumental in getting everything sorted efficiently.

Due to an incident of poorly packing an internal hard drive, which is sensitive to shock, the drive was received faulty, where the likely cause was transit damage.

I ultimately decided against a request for a replacement as this could simply happen again and as such, placed another order with Ballicom who I know wrap sensitive goods well.

I then find that Broadband Buyer Operates a returns policy of forcing customers to spend their time and money on the effort to return goods at their own expense, at least initially. Then the additional effort needed to request proof of returns costs is also laboursome.

Where fault is found with the service provided which, in turn is the likely cause of the fault, It is Broadband Buyer's responsibility to make the customer whole, financially.

Their refusal to provide a collection (In an instance of of service provider fault) and due to their poor quality packing efforts to protect expensive shock sensitive goods, is both unlawful and unethical and as such I cannot recommend using this company to anyone. We have placed them on our internal ban list.

There are plenty of other merchants out there that know how to pack an OEM Hard Disk Drive that does not have retail packaging.

To make matters worse they are now mucking me around with the £4.19 returns costs that they legally owe me. It has already taken several more emails, just to get this money back.

This company really needs to be shut down for illegal commerce practices. Wish we still had a funded Trading Standards in operation. It would be useful.
