If you contact us, you'll be speaking to someone at our Craft Bakery in Harrogate. They are as close as you can be to the heart of our business without being sat next to the bread ovens, so you will be in expert hands.
We aim for perfection but from time to time things don't go to plan, so if the worst happens we will always do all we can to put it right.
Every person in our team has the authority to make decisions on their own, so they will do their best to fix things there and then. They will only pass you along or check in with a colleague when the question absolutely requires it.

Could do better with packaging
The items are lovely but we ordered a gift box for a a 60th anniversary and I was surprised that it arrived in just a brown cardboard box. I thought the packaging could have been better on the outside. It was also delivered outside and left whilst it was raining despite asking it to be delivered in our porch

Thank you for your review. We're sorry if you were disappointed with the item you ordered, in that you were expecting a separate gift box.
This item has been created in response to customer demand for us to use less packaging, so it doesn't have the usual Bettys gift box: the description for the Bettys Little Luxuries explains that this item is "...packed into our 'decorative shipper’, a smart and sturdy cardboard box printed with a pretty interior design. Less packaging, more treats – just open the lid and dive into deliciousness."
We are also sorry if the courier left your parcel outside, instead of in the porch. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

Birthday cake delivery Failure
Birthday cake ordered in plenty of time for daughters birthday.Cake was due to arrive on the Friday afternoon. I tried first think Saturday morning to track delivery, no details available from Rial Mail and Bettys don’t have any help available over weekend. No birthday cake arrived and when made contact with Barry’s on Monday morning appears to be an error in actually posting item. Very disappointed as was my daughter and guests.

It seems that the parcel was lost at the Royal Mail Depot unfortunately, which is why we weren't able to track it or find out its location. We appreciate how disappointing this must be, especially as the cake was for a birthday gift. We appreciate you contacting us to let us know, and we can see that our Customer Support Advisor issued a refund for the order. Thank you again for your review and we're sorry to have let you down on this occasion.

Ordering process fine though I did have a bit of an issue with the system trying to pin down my son’s address.
Delivery driver phoned as he was delivering to a flat and needed someone to go to the door.

Damaged but tasty
The items were delivered on time and very tasty. Unfortunately, the biscuits were broken on arrival so didn't look great as part of a 70th birthday gift.

Ordering a cake for our golden wedding anniversary from Betty's was really easy. Jane was very helpful and patient. The cake itself looked beautiful, very elegant. The cake also tasted wonderful. The sponge was so soft.
