I can't think of anything that would or could have improved the process. The order, payment, response on the order and delivery were all exactly as expected, can't do any better than that!

Battery Purchase
There was no on-going sharing of status of my purchase. I began to wonder if they had actually recorded the purchase, especially since Amazon, through whom I got in touch with Batteryheads, said that I had left my purchase in the cart! It would have been nice to let us know where the battery was - e.g., Being shipped, or at a certain point in the delivery, and when to expect it. It just suddenly appeared in my mail!

Company/employee lacks customer service skills.
I dealt with Tamara. She was opinionated and difficult to deal with. I sent a battery for refurbish but it arrived damaged via UPS. She quickly placed blame on improper packaging. The battery was packaged tightly with multiple layers of thick newspaper. She offered no possibility of checking the actual inner workings of the battery first, before telling me that I should "try to file a claim" with UPS. She was abrupt at times . This is a terrible experience for a small Long Term Care facility.

Customer sent a battery to be refurbished. Battery arrived via UPS and was damaged (case and locking mechanism were smashed) during transit. Battery was wrapped in three layers of newspaper in a thin cardboard box. Battery needed to be packed in a heavier/thicker box and wrapped in bubble wrap or another cushioning material. We shipped the exact same batteries to a customer a day earlier in boxes that weighed 1.5lbs more due to packaging materials that were needed for safe transport. Because the battery was damage, the battery was left wrapped and in the box so that UPS could inspect the battery as part of their damage claim process. The damage to the battery made refurbishing the battery impossible as we need to reuse the battery case which was damaged beyond repair. Unfortunately, the only options available to this customer was to file a damage claim with UPS. This was not the option that either we or the customer wanted to hear.

Just that - the service was quick, I got the package and used it and it worked (ie, the battery charger).

Battery worked great!
Finding the right battery was easy and ordering was simple. It took a little longer than I expected to get here but It fit my camera perfectly and everything else was good, so 5 stars. Yeah I'd recommend them.

It works!
I bought a digital camera from a local pawn shop. No battery charger. I ordered one from Batteryheads and it arrived on time and everything in the little box was exactly as they said it would be. I am a happy customer! :)
