I purchased a battery for a 4yr old HP …
I purchased a battery for a 4yr old HP laptop and the battery went dead before the warranty was up and they are refusing to replace the battery because they say the battery is discontinued by the manufacturer.
Purchased battery August 27, 2016; shipped August 29th; received September 2nd. Same day shipped, RIGHT!
BTW, here's the battery they say is discontinued: batteryheads .com/hp-pavilion-dv6-671731-001-replacement-battery
Either way, horrible product, doesn't last, don't want to honor warranty after sale. Will not buy batteries from this company ever again. BUYERS BEWARE!

The customer is correct that we no longer carry this battery. Replacing the battery is not possible. However, the customer didn't mention that he called to request replacement after the one year warranty expired.
According to our website logs, the customer placed this order on Aug. 26, 2016 at 12:15:08 PM. The order was processed on Aug. 26, 2016 at 1:30PM and was shipped that same day via USPS First Class Mail. USPS does not store tracking information for more than 120 days and we are unable to factually state the exact delivery date of this order.
The printed warranty on all TechFuel products is for the period of one year from the date of purchase. The customer contacted us via email on August 27, 2017 at 9:39 PM. The email was read this morning (August 28, 2017) and a reply was sent to the customer. The customer was informed that the warranty on his order had expired and that the product had been discontinued. Since our first response the customer has written with three additional emails. We sent the customer a copy of their invoice with the printed order date of Aug. 26, 2016. As noted above, the customer disputes the date of his order.

Excellent company to do business with. This is my second battery purchase from Batteryheads.com and never, never had an issue with this fine company. I really appreciate the fact that this company is not shy about posting their toll free number on their web site; and, wait for it....a HUMAN answers the phone should you call.

I was happy to not have a shipping charge added to my purchase. It was also great to receive the charger for my camera much sooner than I thought I would get it. Thank you so much. Now my camera has been recharged. I lost my original charger.
