Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service. It wasn’t to begin with. We bought a BenQ projector 575i for the England match and got it delivered next day However there was no power cable in the box. Rang them straightaway and the lady said she would send one out. Luckily our friend had the same so we borrowed his, the Dongle was faulty and the port at the back was too. My husband phoned up to report this too, regardless we still didn’t have the plug cable. The man said we can’t have a replacement or refund and had to take it up with the manufacturer even though we bought it from them and there were missing parts never used it and it was faulty. They refused to budge and ignored our email. All we wanted was a replacement, absolutely awful customer service. Have to do a charge back on our credit card!

Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. It was fantastic to speak to such a knowledgeable and friendly person on the phone. I didn't know anything about projectors and screens but Hamish from the sales team was brilliant, listening to what I needed and guiding me towards what would be best for my set up, and sending me helpful data sheets so I could understand the info in my own time - really professional, would absolutely recommend!!!

I bought a BenQ LK835ST Projector from AV Parts Master and am really pleased with the product and the customer service from Tom Donegan. He rang me after I made the purchase to make sure I understood everything about the projector and made sure it was boxed up and delivered for the next day, going the extra mile to call me at each stage and check on the progress first thing in the morning. It struck me you never get companies who do this anymore, good old fashioned customer service and I can’t thank him enough. Great service all round.

Exceptional customer service!
I bought an Ergotron LX Pro Series from AV Parts Master, and the experience was excellent.
The product was very difficult to find in the UK at the time, but AV Parts Master had it listed at a very reasonable price. I was initially unsure whether the stock information was accurate or whether I might simply receive a refund, but I decided to place the order anyway. It turned out to be the right decision.
Their communication was great, and the pricing was fair. They clearly did not take advantage of the stock shortage, which I really appreciated.
The item had to be dispatched from a different warehouse, which added an extra two or three days to the delivery time. However, instead of sending a cold automated email, Erik from customer care called me directly, explained the situation clearly, and handled it in a very professional and friendly way.
That level of customer service is rare, especially for a relatively small order. It was a very positive experience, and I will definitely buy from AV Parts Master again.

Most unethical and shocking
Most unethical, unprofessional and contradictory customer service I've ever dealt with.
AV Parts Master has been an absolute nightmare. I ordered a projector bulb on May 22nd, and it arrived the next day. I opened the package for inspection, but as soon as I attempted to remove the old bulb and replace it, I realized there was a fault with my projector. The bulb itself was never installed or used.
On the same day, I contacted AV Parts Master to request a return because I couldn’t use the bulb. After that, I heard nothing. I emailed three different addresses and called twice. After four days, they finally responded, giving flimsy excuses, and from that point, I had to send more than 32 emails back and forth, submit over 19 different documents over more than four weeks, resending them again and again, just to prove my case.
Eventually, they rejected the return, claiming the fault was with my projector and not the bulb. This was despite the fact that I had requested a return well within the 14-day statutory period, as is my legal right. When I pushed back, they continued to frustrate me. After weeks, they sent me a return label that claimed "free postage." I took time off work to go to the Post Office, only to be told it wasn’t prepaid. Once again, I contacted them, and they insisted I pay the postage myself. After all this, they tried to keep 20% of the refund for a so-called handling fee, which is completely unjustified.
What's even more shocking that I made a complaint, they got back to me with a nice apology and offered to refund my postage fee but when I said yes, they disappeared and never refunded my money.
This company is unethical. Once they have your money, they do everything they can to frustrate you—passing you around, delaying responses, and denying your legal rights. I had to fight for every step, and it was a complete waste of time. Avoid them at all costs.

Recent order of Lindy USB adapters
I recently had occasion to order some USB adapters from AV Parts Master and was most impressed with the quality of the Lindy brand adapters that I received and the speed with which the order was fulfilled. One of the three USB adapters that I had ordered was out of stock and to my surprise I received a phone call from a staff member at AV Parts Master to inform me of the shortfall and would I like to replace the inline USB-C to USB-C part with a right angle USB-C to USB-C part? I readily agreed to this and the next day I had all three components in my hands. Well done AV Parts Master! I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends.

COWBOYS - AVOID
If I could give less than one star I would. Purchased £160 of parts to hang a projector. Realised I didn’t need one of the two parts (in a box that was never even opened) and tried to return the item in 12 days, after informing them in 3 days. The item is worth £43. They then point to some small print that I can’t even find stating that their return rule doesn’t apply to businesses. Small businesses in my case, even though I purchased as a regular consumer.
My advice for you is that there are many companies to choose from out there and I wouldn’t choose to trade with one that treats their customers which such contempt.
BEWARE this company has many 1 STAR REVIEWS showing that when something goes wrong that aren’t interested.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. COWBOYS.

Update - AVPartsmaster eventually refunded £51 on 19th August - the amount requested. I appreciate that they did that (eventually) but I dont understand why you would mess a customer around like that regardless of it being an individual or a small business. I have returned the parcel today in all its original packaging unopened at my expense. Post code RG2 0RP.

I ordered a headset which was out of stock. There was confusion about what I had ordered vs what I thought I had ordered. Ellie King-Green called me, explained the situation and then sorted out a like for like product in a different couour for the same price. She even organised a next day delivery for me despite it by then being past the 4pm cut off. She's an absolute star and a credit to your business!!

Great advice, excellent experience.
I ordered a projector for my small garden cinema room, received a call from Tom to discuss my requirements. It soon became apparent that what I had ordered would not fulfill my needs. Tom talked me through the options and guided me, There was not one moment of sales pressure ( I'm in sales), he did not attempt to blind me with science, just explained everything logically. I gave him a budget and he worked as close to it as possible. I've now ordered a new projector and looking forward to receiving it. Tom is a credit to the company, his knowledge,.conduct and customer relations are second to none. Thank you Tom for for such a pleasant and easy experience,.I wouldn't hesitate to buy from you again.

Not surprised AV Parts Master rates so highly on here. Cusomer service is outstanding. Spoke to Erik on Monday after ordering my Acer projector on Friday, said that I was hoping to receive it for the England World Cup game on Wednesday. He said Acer were out of stock so not likely but he would see what he could do. Erik rang me today (Wednesday) and said that he had found the last one available from their various suppliers and they would dispatch it immediately so it should arrive for the weekend. Absolutely fantastic customer service, why can't ths be the norm.

This is not the first time I have done business with AV and I keep going back to them, so something has to be working.
Their product range suits me fine and it is attractively priced. Delivery is generally reliable and prompt.
