Do not buy this machine. Not only does it not wash clothes well, but there are constant problems. I have had to have technician out since I first purchased the machine, then it has been one thing after another that has gone wrong with it. First there was a fault crack line in the perspex front. Then the electrics main board malfunctioned and would not progress through the cycle properly. The paint around front started to bubble, show signs of rust, crack and peel off. I have water leaking from under the machine. The drum has now become unbalanced plus. Everytime, it costs me a call out fee to have this machine looked at. I have had to contact ASKO a number of times about this machine with its issues but they refuse to do anything about this horrible washer. They do not care about customer service and follow-up issues. I thought I was doing the right thing in buying a more upmarket washer. However, this machine is worse than the most cheapest washer you can buy.

serviceAsko delivery is no where near 1 star. It must be 0 star for that. We purchased and made a payment for washing machine from the good guys. Good guys said they even have to buy from Asko website and they only get commission in between for customer service so everything is handled by Asko. On Asko, it said it will be delivered in a month. We were kept getting messages every month that delivery is delayed. It took more than 3 months to get it delivered to the address. Once it was a time, delivery guys was not professional or helpful. He said he will deliver at 7am, we asked if he could move to 7.30am or 8am as we had other things at 7am but no, he strickly replied in non-professional words. Okay, 7am he came, he just drop new one outside of laundry and running(which is okay to understand as he might have lot other deliveries). When you pay $1600, you expect at least professional service.
Heard about Asko machine, I hope there won't be any issue as this would be my first and last purchase any way.

My dryer one year old some time doesn’t dry the clothes for four and half I call the technician from. ASKO he come today he fixed some pipe and he didn’t clean all dust when I come home I tried to get all parts together I find out the bottom door broking I call the technician he said to me call ASKO after too days other way am telling the company the problem is not under warranty they will charging $135.00
I call ASKO to report he tried to get out of it they supposed to back to me in too hours I haven’t heard anything yet what my supposed to do?

Never again. Shortly after purchasing our dishwasher the cutlery draw started to disintegrate. After a few months it was almost unusable. To their credit (after discussion) Asko replace the cutlery draw. However the same thing has happened again but Asko are now not prepared to replace the draws. The dishwasher was installed and set up by an Asko technician . I have never had this issue with any other dishwasher. I paid a premium to purchase an Asko but never again. Now i am off to VCAT to have the matter resolved.
Surely there must be an issue if the same part fails twice. After sales service is non existent

Bought a gas Cooktop. Came highly recommended by sales person at the Good Guys. Paid deposit as there were only 5 left in stock. Paid rest on 23 April 2024. Delivery was requested for 26 April. Early may went back to Good Guys as still no cooktop. Rep said 2 weeks to delivery. Went back to Good Guys today. Called the rep. Now new date is in July. Did the cooktop I paid a holding deposit on just magically disappeared?. Absolutely discusting. I would like a full refund ASKO. Here is the invoice number.

Utterly appalling customer service!!

Our dishwasher stopped working a couple of weeks ago and we contacted our rental agency, who passed us onto ASKO promptly.

Firstly, all I can gather is they couldn’t be bothered to come out, so tried to get us to fix it (despite us informing them that we’d tried all of the usual steps including removing the filter).

Finally an appointment day is confirmed, only to have the time slot confirmed after hours on the day before! The appointment slot given was after 4.30, which didn’t work for either of us (never had a service person come after 4 pm before!!). Tried to call to get it rearranged, only to be told that they can’t confirm slots sooner…

Let’s hope their service people are better than their customer service (well let’s face it not like they could be worse at this point!)

We bought a dishwasher from Asko but they didn't give us any options for delivery time. On the day of the delivery they called us and told us the delivery time in the morning, which messed up the plans we had for the day. I requested a change of the delivery time by calling the customer service but they just didn't even consider our circumstances at all and forced us to be at home for the period they planned to deliver. I'm disappointed with their very poor customer service.

My father brought a dishwasher from Harvey Norman and it was a Asko dishwasher. It's only three years old and the motherboard as gone in it three times and this is the last time I will buy anything from Asko. Vincent

Don’t buy Asko.
Our steam combo oven developed a fault; technician found steam unit had leaked into kitchen cabinetry.
Part supposedly repaired after much to-ing and fro ing with emails and follow ups from us. Fault reappeared. More emails and phone calls trying to get action-other problems with oven evident. Asko offered us a 30%discount off our next Asko product as compensation. Went back to Asko and were told take it or leave it.
Ha! As if we would ever buy Asko again! What a joke!

Do not purchase ASKO, I purchased the steel seal Washing Machine from ASKO, from day one the front door has leaked, I have endured multiple repair call outs, endless calls and emails to the service centre, with no resolution. I understand the call centre is based in Serbia and does not facilitate customer complaints. There is actually no recourse or contact details for customer complaints on the ASKO site, the service centre being the only outlet for contact. There is also no avenue for escalating an issue with a faulty product. Beware of purchasing ASKO, if there is a fault with your product there is no support, no customer complaints site or recourse available. Beware ASKO support and service is very much a SCAM.

Great products if you could get them shipped to you. Ours seem to have been lost in transit. Asko blames Harvey Norman, and Harvey Norman blames Asko. Both blame transport companies. No one takes responsibility. Have heard every BS excuse. Do not buy from this company. You might never receive the product.

Bought a washing machine 15 Sept 23 it didn't work from the start; technician came out and replaced part (We had to pay for his travel over $100) still didn't work. Several calls later they agreed to a refund. They picked up my machine on the 27/11/23 still no refund numerous phone calls always an excuse. Starting to think we've done our $2500. Next step contacting office of fair trading and my solicitor. Do not buy an ASKO product they are rubbish and after sales service is appalling.

We bought a top end dishwasher. It was installed by their technicians and it didn't work straight away so we called them back and they confirmed a machine fault. Asko made us wait to get a second lot of technicians to confirm that their own technicians were right about the machine being faulty. My partner called them and they were incredibly rude and condescending. Absolutely atricious. Also, it has been a month and we're still waiting for them to pick up the machine and subsequent refund. Absolutely would avoid at all costs.

My dishwasher wouldn’t close so I contacted Asko service centre who sent a technician. He immediately identified the problem as a screw that was out of alignment. He said he’d seen this before on other dishwashers. Clearly a design fault. He tightened the screw and left. He was in and out in 5 minutes. It cost me $134.97. I asked Asko to consider charging less or to call me. They refused.
I believe that this is outrageous and very poor customer service.

Purchased a combi microwave and oven on clearance with slight cosmetic damage. Poor performance out of the box, and oven function did not work at all.

Two years and three repairs later, the microwave started sparking in use. Apparently, the paint is scratched, which they blame on us. We suspect this was done when it was last repaired. It’s hard to believe otherwise, considering we rarely take the glass tray out except to clean it, and only ever use the official accessories. Additionally, if this damage really was caused by removing the glass tray, there is no mention in the manual, website or otherwise that the coating is so brittle that minor use could risk scratches.

They say this is “unrepairable” and refuse to offer any service or remedy. CHOICE magazine has found that a high end microwave should last at least 10 years - this has only lasted just over two.

For an extremely expensive product to not meet consumer standards of safety and durability is shocking. Customer service is poor, and essentially non-existent. I have reached out to them 6 times about this issue and they do not respond.

I believe they flout Australian Consumer Law as they don’t guarantee repairs for a reasonable time.

Based on my experience, I would never recommend this company or product to anyone.

My machine is less 12 months old . Paddles on these machines become dirty underneath they need to be removed cleaned . The quality of the plastic is horrendous. Each prong is delicate and breaks . My spare paddle arrived broken after 15 days no washing machine . To have paddle recived today broken is extremely unsatisfactory. The management is major issue not staff on phones . Do self favour by another brand .

Second time replacing the control panel because the screen is not sealed. Massive amounts of condensation between inside and outside door panels which is what is causing the control panel to short out. Factory rep has no answers and is completely worthless. Avoid ASKO products like the plague!!!!

In my opinion the Asko brand is a front for a third world, third rate company.

The product I received is complete with manufacturing defects and the after sales service is worse than what one gets with a low end Chinese manufacturer. At least the Chinese replace their crap without an argument.

Corresponding with Asko’s staff is a complete waste of time as the have little to no product knowledge and a lesser command of English.

Do yourself a favour and buy something else.

Bought the washing machine (ASKO-W4086C) in August, delivery/install date passed without any communication, called them and they informed me there were no products in Australia yet (thanks for letting me know!). Eventually we get an install date, they turn up but don't have what they need for the install, then they turn up unnanounced one morning when I am about to leave for school run...then it takes several calls and eventually a couple weeks later it's installed. During the one-man install he cracks a laundry floor tile, have been trying to get some resolution for weeks now...THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE...wish I bought a MIELE!

Avoid this mob like the plague unless you want to pay top dollar for a turkey.

The dishwasher breaks down all the time and then you have to suffer through seriously uncaring customer support. They love treating you like a leper.

One will tell you they'll discuss the issue with the upper management. The next will say there's no point doing that as it'll be a waste of time - then they spend 5 minutes explaining why.

'Scandinavian inspired' is hilarious as they moved from Scandinavia to Sweden in 2013! I'm Arnold Schwarzenegger inspired but would be closer to Danny DeVito.

You'd think their reviews are too bad to be true...but unfortunately that's not the case. Worst appliance manufacturer and customer service I've ever suffered.

Run away and keep running.
