I put a review 28 June2024. Without any quibble, the three shelves were collected, redone and returned to me. They now look superb so I wanted to share just how good their customer service really is.

Having entrusted my 100+ year old door furniture to Ashford for polishing, the results were just outstanding.
On their return, and unwrapping that final layer of tissue paper, the sparkling beauty of the fully restored brass was breathtaking.
Working with Paul and Shelley was a pleasure throughout. Their's is a very special company, and thoroughly deserves my special praise.

An excellent company to deal with . I recently needed some door furniture re-nickled. From contacting them for a quote to having the items finished and returned I found communication excellent and it was very clear how much the work would cost and the length of time it would take .
The results are superb, better than I thought possible for previously heavily pitted metal.
I would definitely recommend them, and will use them again in the future.

What can I say when you trust something you love? So much to someone to do a good job? They certainly did that. The communication was amazing and the quality of their work was outstanding. Thank you to you all and your team.

Ashford Chroming has so far chromed 3 British Army badges for me, all of which were of different base metals. They achieved a very high quality finish.

I was unable to purchase 4 new cibie headlights for my1979 Renault 17 which are in fact exclusive when it comes to fitting to this model and second hand ones for sale were in the same condition as mine and at a ridiculas price so with the help and advise from Ashford Chroming I now have 4 as good as new headlights, excelent service and first class finish, highly recomended

We had some lack lustre Candelabra which we would put out for dinners but not being plated they looked dull and unkept. Having looked around at various chromers we choose Ashford and what a difference it has made. We sent 19 Nr 3 stick Candelabra and 4 short single stick Candelabra to be chromed. The process took 6 weeks however they were returned bang on time. Each piece had been meticulously wrapped and once we had reassembled them the finish was outstanding. We are extremely pleased at the outcome and cannot wait for our next dinner to show them off. I would thoroughly recommend Ashford Chroming as a company who cares.

I had a fifteen year old chrome soap dish from which large amounts of the original chrome had worn off. I did not want to buy a replacement because the soap dish was fixed to a marble splashback and the fixing screws on a new soap dish would have been differently positioned and would have required redrilling the marble. I found Ashford on the web after other prospective re-chromers had declined to help. Ashford was friendly and efficient from the outset. Responses to emails were punctual, an estimate was provided quickly and instructions for sending in the dish were clear. Five weeks later the dish was returned to me with the chrome restored to perfect condition. Should I have any further objects that need re-chroming, I shall certainly use Ashford again

I sent my Classic motorcycle mudguard off to these Guys for rechroming.I have to say their work is first class and second to none. The work was completed by an employee called Bishop. Who kept me informed all through the whole process with regular updates on the progress and the end result was amazing and im looking forward to refitting it to the bike. I also need to say the postage and packaging was reasonably priced and very quick. Once again thank you guys for a job well done

I just received my rechromed parts for my 1966 Royal Enfield Continental GT restoration, and having used other platers previously on other projects, with mixed outcomes, I’m seriously impressed with Ashford Chroming. I got a very prompt, competitive quote, properly documented, which they honoured. No surprises, a turnaround within the timescales agreed and after paying the items were delivered next day. The quality of the polishing and plating is first class. Definitely my go to for future projects. Chris SW19

After damaging my shower I had 2 options. Replace the shower (and the bathroom, as the current shower is buried in the wall behind tiles) or refurb the chrome items I'd badly damaged removing the wall unit. I reached out to Ashford who communicated and advised clearly and priced multiple options. I have now received the refurbished parts back and they are like new!

Excellent and efficient service. My chrome car boot rack looks better than new. Great job.
