Friendly, helpful advice and an excellent product.

I have a genuine Gibson banjolele that is about 100 years old and the bezel around the velum skin and the tailpiece were showing signs of age. It took nearly eight weeks for the work to be done and the returned items were superb. A costly well done to Ashford. Maybe £20 for the postage was a bit steep!

I had a motorcycle engine bar rechromed and was wondering if the bad scratches and flat section on the tube would be noticed after the refurb. It was a very pleasant surprise to get the part back and notice that you could not tell that any damage had occurred, this exceeded my expectation. Great job, and they finished before the estimated time.

Amazing experience with Chroming an antique radiator and fish tap that had rusted badly. Both were returned in sparkling new chrome.. and looked like new.

I sent off the outer wheel trims and the hub caps from my 1957 Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire Limousine about 8 weeks ago and today they came back. On opening the box from DHL I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the re chroming, they look fabulous, can’t wait to see them back on the wheels.

Great service from Paul and Bishop on my Suzuki GT750 parts. The work on the front mudguard was particularly impressive as this had a couple of significant dents but came back looking like new old stock. Highly recommended.

Paul and the team restored and re-chromed some centre caps for my classic vehicle, and the results were excellent, I am very happy with how they have come back. I'd highly recommend them to others and will use them again for sure.

When l first met Bishop at their re-chroming factory he put me at ease straight away, l just knew l had brought my bumpers from my Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 1 to the right place, l collected them today 10th Feb and l was not disappointed,WOW what a fabulous job, can't wait to re-fit them, many mant thanks for all your hard work at Ashford Chroming. My 53 year old chrome automatic gear selector came back better than new. From enquiry to quotation (by return), to acknowledgement of order with downloadable delivery documents, to updates, to notice of delivery, everything just first class. Items was returned in a fraction of the period quoted. I highly recommend Ashford Chroming, a most professional team and high quality workmanship.

We bought a vintage washbasin and the taps were in terrible condition. Still wanting to keep the authenticity, we decided to have them re-chromed. Excellent communication and consultation, as we didn't want them to look perfect but restored. Fair, honest communication and pricing from Ashford timing was reasonable, and we are delighted with the results.

From start to finish, the experience was easy and professional. I dropped my 1964 Triumph 2000 Mk1 bumpers and bonnet cowl off as the chrome work was terrible. Got all the parts back and I am more than happy. I was told the bonnet cowl might not be easy to do due to the condition, it may not have a good finish, turned out perfect. More than happy.

Although it took some five months, the result was well worth waiting for. Bishop kept me fully informed with messages and pictures. It was clear that he would accept nothing but perfection. The rest of my 1960 Silver Cloud II hardly lives up to its newly re-chromed hub caps. Highly recommended.

Had an old Redline BMX re-chromed. Came back like it must of looked in 1980. Quicker turn around than expected too. Kept me up to date via email. Thank you Ashford Chroming.

Really pleased with the results - my Triumph tank badges were 58 years old and they prepped and plated them so they looked like new - first class service and I would highly recommend them - well done 👍

I've had a number of pitted, rusty flaking chrome motorbike parts for my 1974 Triumph T100R Daytona and my 1978 Honda CBX1000 that were becoming unusable.
I received a recommendation for Ashford Chroming and accepted, as expected the high cost for triple chrome . Was it worth it, yes, very much so. All the parts, Rickman Carrier rack, engine bars, mudguard and stays and drum brake parts are finished better than the new condition. I build vintage and classic motorbikes, would I recommend, certainly would, 5*!
