The calendar clock is a great idea for people who are beginning to forget what the date is or what day of the week it is. Combined with an ordinary calendar with appointments and visits written on it gives them more independence and security that they know what's going on. My only critisism is that there is a comma after the date (13, June 2014)........why! It is incorrect in the UK and even my parents with Alzheimer's recognised that.
Delivery was quick and efficient.

Looks nice , but programming could be a nightmare ... time will tell !!

The item we ordered came promptly and was quite well packaged, there was crushed cardboard on one corner wher it seemed to have been pressed down so it would fit into the bag it came in.
The item was smaller than expected, wasn't really worth the money and I am unsure whether to buy from this website again.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Alzproducts. They are interested in how you're getting on with the product, and keen to help if you need telephone support. Mail order with added value!

I ordered the telephone with space for four photos and a cover plate for the numbers. The handset is nice and bulky and my mother places it back without leaving it off the hook, which often used to happen. It has good amplification adjustment too. I also thought it was a very good price and an excellent product for people with dementia. AlzProducts were efficient and the whole ordering and delivering process went smoothly. Thank You

I found AlzProducts.co.uk through a google search which was very fortuitous - not only did they offer a huge range of products, they also shipped internationally. My father has alzheimers and I have struggled to find a clock that clearly shows the day, date and time and also a simple to use TV remote control. I was also interested in a telephone and had some problems with the website because of this. However I received a very helpful message explaining from Tom explaining the problem and I was then able to place my order. I must have accidentally left off the street number from my address on my order, but Tom was on the ball to email me to get the correct details and my order arrived within a week. First rate products and first rate service - thank you so much.

My mother would frequently hit the wrong buttons on the Sky handset and get stuck on an unavailable channel.

Now, I have programmed the Flipper Hand Set to only go to five channels on Freesat. No more reboots to contend with.

I have taped over the green on/off button on the Flipper to avoid my mother getting into standby, which is another problem.

My mother has dementia and finds the Flipper very easy to use.

I control the maximum volume by going into the hidden Hotel Mode on her Panasonic TV.

Good delivery, this clock is shown with no writing on the frame unlike Amazons picture of same clock, so naively I thought it was a plain frame! It came with the makes name on the frame which I could have had from Amazon much cheaper. I do feel a bit cheated.

Easy to order & calendar clock was delivered ahead of schedule. Works well, no setup required and easy to read.

Clock has improved her recognition of the time of day but only when she remembers to look at it.The next step for your technicians would be to make one that speaks the time of day. Although this could create more problems because my mum would sit there and argue with thew clock because it was telling her the wrong time.
I still find it very difficult to get my head around the fact she is unable to work out morning or night. She may have a 1 hour sleep in the afternoon wake up and be convinced it is the next day even though it is starting to get dark.
I try to get as much information about this on the internet and I am learning more and more how to cope with someone with Dementia, it is very difficult for her and us. Thanks again

I bought this lockable electrical socket cover to ensure that the plug for the lifeline telephone was not removed from the socket or switched off. It is brilliant. If you have someone in the family with dementia I can whole heartedly recommend this item.

The flipper remote control was excellent for my dad who has Alzheimer's. The customer service was excellent, I spoke online to someone who answered all my questions. I would recommend this site to everyone who knows someone with Alzheimer's for the products and the service.

Bought this for my 91year old mum who has dementia. If I'm being honest It makes me feel happier to know it's there for her. A bit like a security blanket. The concept is brilliant.
