Everything was so well organized! Our leader, Bernie and his team were amazing. Bernie went above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable safe and teach us about everything we were experiencing.The food, the porters the chefs were unbelievable. Cannot recommend enough.

Me and my family of five did the 4 day Incan trail trek to Machu Picchu, and I cannot express enough how amazing the entire experience was. Our guides were Ivan and Roger and they were both awesome, the lectures they gave about the Incan structures and history were very much known from heart, and so incredible. The food was beyond any expectations I had and was so delicious, by the time we got to camp every evening our tents were set up perfectly, and everything was clean and cozy. I truly could not recommend Alpaca Expeditions more, and am overly satisfied and so grateful for this wonderful experience.

My trek with Ivan and Roger was such a good experience. They are such a great combination which made it not just knowledgeable but fun and very happy environment

This was an awesome experience with Romario and Yadira as our guides. Favian was our chef on the trail and it happened to be my birthday the week we hiked Machu Picchu. Favian made me the most delicious and beautiful birthday cake on the 3rd day of hiking. All the food was delicious!!! The porters are awesome and work harder than anyone I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend alpaca expeditions for your trip to hike the Inca trail. Romario is a history scholar and the education we got on the archeological sites on the trail were 2nd to none. Great job guys!!!!

We had a blast! Our tour guides did an amazing job! Romario and Yadida were very informative and helped us learn more about the history of the Inca trails and how it impacted the town back then. We had very good food made by our chef, Favian. His porters did a great job transferring our items and setting up our campsites.

Romario was an excellent guide. His knowledge of Inca culture as well as other pertinent topics is remarkable. Vadira was very very helpful to me on ensuring that I was safe on the uneven hiking surfaces. She even gave me a massage!
Favian and his porters prepared fine meals every day. He even made a great birthday cake. It was amazing!!!

My family and I did the 4 day, 3 night trek with Romario and Yadira, Favian and the rest of their crew and it was fantastic!! Romario was super knowledgeable and fun, Yadira was so kind and encouraging; they are the best tour guides I’ve had in quite a few years of travel. If we ever come back, I will be looking them up for another tour.
Fabian and his sous chef made magic happen in that little kitchen tent, everything was so delicious I went to bed stuffed.
The porters were wonderful, they encouraged our group and were there to cheer for us when we managed to finish our day; the work they do is amazing and I have the utmost respect for them.
The people, the sights, the trail were all perfect but the tents were terrible. I hate to say anything negative because it was all so great but those tents were tattered and torn and old, definitely in need of replacing.

Amazing experience. We had a great group which made the more challenging parts more bearable and fun, and our guides, Cesar and Daniel, were excellent. Knowledgeable and informative, warm and friendly, funny yet always professional, and they adjusted the trekking pace extremely well, sometimes splitting us into packs so that everyone felt comfortable.

Incredible views, hospitality, accomodation, food (thanks to Walter, Teofilo and Vidal!) and company. Once our legs have recovered, we'd happily do it all over again.

Cesar, Daniel, Walter and the crew for the Salkantay Trek were very nice. Great people and I am very grateful for all their efforts. They are truly the heroes of the trip.
In my opinion the 5 dyas Salakantay is worth it. Alpaca Expeditions provided a great tour and they are very committed to deliver a great experience. My statements and rating are based on the interactions I had with the guides, desk representatives, chefs and owner. They acted on my feedback and made things right. I strongly recommend them.

We had the best time on the Salkantay with Cesar and Daniel as our guides. The trek was as much of a challenge as we expected but it was so satisfying to finish it! Everything was organised so well and the food was delicious and plentiful. Thank you again!!

Felix was very knowledgeable about the Inca trail and was even more knowledgeable while taking us around Machu Picchu. He also provided additional background information on modern day Peruvian politics. I felt i understood a lot more about Peruvian history and culture.

Felix and Jefferson made the entire experience more enjoyable but also safe. They are very knowledgable and about the inca sites and Inca trail in general. Their team of porter were incredible and did everything to make sure you were looked after. I highly recommend using this company with Felix and Jefferson as your tour guides.

I loved my 4 day Inca trail with felix and Jefferson. They were very informative and helped with every single issue that me and or the rest of the group had (only small things of course ) their attention to detail was amazing. Also a special shout out to the porters and cooks who made the whole experience possible !
