I had a wonderful time on a trip organised by Adventure Tours UK. Everything was superbly organised from beginning to end. I enjoyed zip lining across a quarry at the speed of 100 miles and hour, even though i was a bit petrified at first. I also took part in a power boad trip across the Menai Strait, the channel that separates the island of Anglesea with Mainland Wales. We even had lunch on the beach with a fascinating hedgewitch who taught us about foraging for food - it was such a different type of advenure holiday and Clare and her team were so professional. I'd recommend them to anyone.

My experience of Adventure Tours UK was fantastic, and our host Claire Copeman could not have done more for us. Whether bouncing on the Irish Sea at 40 knots, hurtling through the air at 120mph on a zip-line, or exploring the otherworldly steps and alleyways of the magical Portmeirion, Claire went out of her way to look after us, to the extent that she has become a friend to the members of our group.

I would recommend thoroughly Adventure Tours UK to anyone planning a visit to North Wales.

I had the good fortune of embarking on a Wales adventure with a group of travel writers and Claire Copeman of Adventure Tours UK and it was definitely action packed! My favourite part was meeting ‘Hedge Witch’ Jules Cooper (after a speedboat ride on Menai Strait) and learning which plants were safe to eat and which weren’t, and enjoying a picnic of the food she prepared. I was absolutely bricking it when I saw how high the zipline was at ZipWorld….but pushed myself out of my comfort zone and gave it a go. Claire took part too, a reassuring presence… I’m not sure I would have done it otherwise. Portmeirion Village was a gem and we had to be dragged back to the Adventure Tours bus when it was time to leave. I would definitely recommend Adventure Tours UK. The whole experience was a far cry from my last visit to Wales: a day trip from Dublin to Holyhead when I was 10, the highlight of which was buying a new pencil case in Woolworths. Thanks to Claire and the Adventure Tours UK team for a fantastic experience.

We were blown away by the professionalism of Claire Copeman (who we all now consider a friend) and the action-packed and fun-filled programme she put together for us in north Wales. We went on a super-fast, thrill a minute rib ride on the Menai Strait; ate the most amazing picnic lunch foraged and prepared by lovely 'Hedge Witch' Jules Cooper; zoomed down the world's fastest zip line; and dined and stayed in the ridiculously beautiful Portmeirion Village, where we were led on a guided tour by the knowledgeable and entertaining Meurig Jones. Everything that Adventure Tours UK organised for us was far beyond expectations and absolutely first class -- this is an adventure company that has hit on not just a winning, but an unbeatable formula. My colleagues and I can't praise them highly enough.
