Fantastic tour that packed in a lot and gave a good variety of activities without feeling too manic! Highlight was the bunkhouse we stayed at located at the foot of Snowdon but otherwise in the middle of nowhere - complete with a campfire on a starry night.

The tour was really thoughtfully put together and definitely got the impression that the owners are trying to do things the right way.

Our guide Sally had endless enthusiasm and helped keep everyone happy :)

I had the best time! Everything about it was great!! The accommodation, people, guide, food and transport - all well thought out and fully enjoyable. I would defiantly recommend this company and its adventures :)

If you are looking for a fun, lively and hassle-free UK break, this company is your key. Just back from the adventure North Wales tour - adrenaline packed, exhilarating and active holiday. One of the best I have been on. The company is a smaller business which means you can really get to know the organisers, who are lovely btw! I will definitely be using this company again and look forward to seeing what new trips they have to offer

The whole trip was brilliantly organised with just enough down time. Clare and Sarah were helpful and attentive. The food was outstanding!! I never went hungry and enjoyed every last morsel! The paddle boarding team were supportive and worked with all our abilities. Picking blackberries as we went along the canal, YUM!! The story telling took us on an evening adventure with giants and dragons with the most delicious marshmallows! The yoga was challenging and relaxing. The foraging was my favourite experience. I found it fascinating. The plum sauce we may was delicious. I highly recommend this break!! I was conscious of the cost but it was worth every penny!!!

This trip exceeded all my my expectations! It was well organised, the food was amazing and the people on our trip with us were all lovely. Claire and Sarah really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. The activities were great! I particularly enjoyed the campfire story telling. I can not recommend Adventure Tours Uk enough and I can’t wait for my next trip with them.

Discovery North Wales was one of the best trips I have been on, so happy to have been on this trip. Absolutely brilliantly planned, a very relaxed week which was full of great adventures, experiences and food!
As a solo traveller I was slightly nervous but received a warm welcome and Tim, our guide, knew exactly who everyone was. He was a great guide and was very knowledgable about the area, walks, wildlife and extra things to do after the tour.
The bushcraft skills with Jamie was brilliant- a great experience for everyone! Very relaxed, happy atmosphere throughout and no question or request was too much to ask.

I racked my brain to think of something that could have been done better, but failed. This really was a very well organised and executed holiday so “thank you” Adventure Tours UK and our guide, Tim, for making the holiday so enjoyable. Tim is clearly very passionate and knowledgable about Wales and punctuated the activities with a mix of history and information to add to the enjoyment. While all the activities were great fun the highlight for us was the bushcraft experience with Jamie which is highly recommended, as long as you are not too squeamish!

Discovery North Wales tour offers just that. A chance to see and explore the mountains, rivers and castles of north Wales. Along with the opportunity to pick up a new bushcraft skill or two. The trip is a great balance between activities and a chance to relax with everything you could need thought of. This is my second trip with Adventure Tours and will definitely be looking at what next … 😊

Everything was fantastic. Claire and Sarah were amazing and I loved every minute. Food was delicious and so much thought went into all our activities and the structure of each day. I was lucky enough to go on the Wellness Weekend back in September 2020. We all know 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and this was a perfect way for me to escape and recharge properly after the first UK lockdown.
This trip was my first ever visit to Wales and I was blown away by how stunning it was driving to The Forge. I couldn’t recommend the accommodation enough. For 3 nights I stayed in the cosiest bell tent with a proper bed and log burner. The facilities had everything you would need and really focused on being as a eco friendly as possible. The food provided was so fresh, tasty and local produce.
The first night we were told Welsh folk tales by campfire which was really fascinating. Of course it started to rain but it made the experience all the better for it.
We did yoga each day which was a great way to stretch and relax.
My favourite activities were stand up paddle boarding in which I learnt new tips in how to paddle better. I also loved foraging around the farm and learning different plants and berries and the uses. I still look out for those plants and berries in my home town now!
Claire was so friendly and caring and made sure you had everything you needed. She also got involved with the activities and had lots of fun with us too!
All the timings of the activities were good and we also had plenty on time to ourselves when needed.
We all were able to socially distance, hand gel was provided and everything was very clean.
If you are looking for a perfect way to escape and properly recharge, this weekend is for you! It’s suitable for all ages and I met some lovely people since I had come on this trip on my own.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with Adventure Tours UK in the future!

Great relaxing weekend in Wales. Claire and the whole team made sure the weekend ran smoothly with brilliant attention to detail throughout the weekend.

My partner and I had an adventurous weekend in North Wales and we had the absolute best time. Our activities of e-foiling on the Menai Strait and zip lining at Zip World were such an adrenaline rush.

We also got loads of useful tips from Claire at Adventure Tours UK on where to go in North Wales and went to some really beautiful spots. We had so much fun and would definitely do this again.

Great weekend of trail running with knowledgable hosts, good location for glamping and challenging routes and points for improvement from the coach.

Had a great time in the most amazing Welsh scenery. I've done 2 trips with these guys. If you like adventure, the most epic views, then you'll love these tours.

The running coach/guide had to self-isolate due to slow covid testing. But everything worked great remote, overall very professional and admirable organisation in difficult times.

The Wild Wellness Retreat was amazing, I only wish it would've been longer! A great range of activities, the food was amazing and we were blessed with good weather too which made it a great experience. Our hosts at the Forge, Sheena and Jamie, were lovely and Claire was always there to help with any advice we needed and she recommended some great things to do and places to see in Wales. The tents were spacious and cosy and you had everything you needed in the kitchens. I'd happily do it again :)

I can highly recommend the Wellness Retreat! It was a lovely few days in the beautiful Welsh countryside filled with fun activities like paddleboarding and foraging, and plenty of time to relax with yoga, storytelling round the campfire and delicious meals. Claire was an exceptional group leader and did everything to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. The accommodation was also really comfortable, and everything felt very safe with regards to hygiene and social distancing. I had an amazing time on the wild wellness retreat, I was able to take part in different activities that I don’t normally get to do living in the city. I enjoyed all of the activities, especially doing yoga outside in the fresh air.

The Wild Wilderness Retreat was excellent, the activities included were a nice mix with yoga, SUP, foraging, campfire cooking plus a local storyteller round the fire. The bell tents at the Forge arecosy, comfortable and private - the log burner made them delightful!
I feel like I have learned a lot on this short break - from controlling a paddleboard, how to forage, make hedgerow gin and cook a feast on a campfire. Thoroughly relaxing and much needed for a slightly stressed out mum post lockdown!
