I can’t recommend Advance Vauxhall enough! Angela and Maj were absolutely amazing from start to finish – so kind, helpful, and genuinely made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. They answered all my questions quickly and clearly explained the finance process to me in order to help me find the best option suitable for a first time car finance purchase, this really put me at ease :)
My car car was spotless and everything was shown to me in detail at the handover!! I love my car! Thank you both so much for going above and beyond. If you’re looking for a new car in the area, this is definitely the place you need to go! :)

Advanced Vauxhall Watford
I was asked to pay a £99 reserving fee to hold a car over night until I could get to the Watford Advanced Vauxhall dealership next day to do a test drive. This I paid. Sales person was polite and helpful. Had the test drive, said I would let them know and asked for my £99 to be refunded. I was told it would take 3 to 5 working days! I let the dealership know the following day that I was no longer interested in the car. 14 (total) days later, no refund. I emailed the sales person, but no response. On the 15th day I telephoned the dealership, but no answer. I called the head office in Slough, and was told that it was down to me to complete a refund form! And that it would then need to be authorised by the dealership manager! What refund form I asked?! Told that I could request the form or go online to do it. No one at the Watford dealership advised me that I needed to complete a refund form. I spoke to the head office Sales Director, he processed the refund for me over the phone (why couldn't the Watford branch have done this)? I then received an email from AV advising that my refund would take another 5 working days. After 5 working days I have received yet another email advising that my refund has been done, but it will take another 2-3 working days. In total it is going to take 23 days (if the latest email is correct) to get MY money back from Advanced Vauxhall Watford. What a palaver and poor service. And all at my inconvenience!! Will not be visiting them again.

We’d like to confirm that your £99 reservation fee refund was processed from our end on 11th June. As this is a card refund, the actual time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your card issuer's processing times, which can vary.
We appreciate you highlighting the confusion around the refund process, and we completely understand how frustrating this experience must have been. Your comments have been shared with both the Watford dealership and our head office to ensure communication and processes are made clearer moving forward — particularly around the need for a refund form and how that information is conveyed to customers.
We’re very sorry again that this has left a negative impression, and we sincerely thank you for your initial interest and for highlighting the areas where we can and must do better.

Naz was absolutely amazing! My car was not driveable and local garages were unable to give me an appointment until August! Naz fitted me in the same day and helped me with a courtesy car. I was kept informed daily about the repairs and costs. 10/10 for customer service.

Soon found a car which suited my needs. Rang the sales team, put a returnable £99 deposit to reserve the vehicle. Inspected it later that week with a test drive.
Purchased the car and collected about a week later, with a year's MOT certificate, checked (although the check list indicated the Adblue had been checked- it's has a petrol engine) valeted and polished. Sales consultant arranged payment for road tax.
Sales staff polite and helpful.
