The staff at Abbey New Homes could not have been more helpful. We loved the show home & after we sold our house there were various delays & Lack of communication from the solicitors. Abbey New Homes stepped in & helped us to completion. Kelly & Ben especially went above & beyond, I don't think the move would have happened without them. We have been here 2 months now, & couldn't be happier.

I have just bought a home from Abbey New Homes in Lenham, Kent. The experience was excellent. Moving into our new home we have nothing but praise for David O’Leary (the site manager) who has made the process so much better. He has dealt with the (expected) little niggles/nuances professionally and in a very timely manner. He has always kept us updated on everything happening around the site and we can’t recommend his approach, customer service and professionalism high enough.

We've been really impressed with Abbey New Homes and the customer experience provided by Sara - her knowledge of the Liberty View estate in Lenham is excellent and she's been extremely helpful throughout the process. Would highly recommend you see her if you're considering a move to Liberty View. Thank you Sara!

We moved into our new home a couple of months ago, and it has been a smooth process. Each team we dealt with had been great in their own regard. Now that we've moved in, Dean, Henry and the site team have been amazing and extremely helpful with any request we have had. It has made the process stress-free, and we have the reassurance that we will be looked after for the aftercare of our home. Additionally, the build quality of the home has stood out by far compared to other developers.

We moved into our Abbey new home in East Grinstead. We've had many issues but the Customer Services have been absolutely great. Especially Nathalie at the beginning of our move and now we are dealing with Maisie, who has been amazing responding and organising to any questions straight away. This makes life so much easier.
We had our downstairs cloakroom out of action for sometime and my parents were unable to visit, as it would mean climbing the stairs. Maisie was wonderful in organising the relevant contractors to come and fix the problems. So thank you Maisie. She made it all happen before Christmas. Very much appreciated.
I would give Abbey New Homes a five star but had a few problems with our home albeit Customer Services have dealt with them efficiently.

Just moved into my new build home in Dunstable. The finish on the house has far exceeded my expectations. The site manager has been very helpful regarding any small snagging issues we’ve had. But once again these are minimal. Two weeks in and there’s nowhere I’d rather be.

Our experience has been, great at pre sales but not great at aftersales and promises to do things often fall short. Its difficult to get things fixed especially when they disappear off site and communication is difficult with Abbey over e-mail, lengthy and frustrating. However, when the builders are on site they are relatively quick to respond and get things sorted for you.

Had a fault with our extractor fan and even after the site manger fixed it we had issues a few month later again and by that time builders had left site.
Abbey Homes blamed us and said we were not using it properly and therefore refused to come out. In the end, after a lengthy back and forth e-mail chain they agreed to come and look only to find it had not been installed correctly! We had a leak around it and water dripping down, lots of people have the same issues, so be aware of that.

Abbey even offer hampers to be delivered to apologise, only problem is they don't turn up.
They just tell you want you want to hear but actually never deliver on what they say are going to do.

General estate management is non existent also, they don't maintain or cut the grass for long periods of times and everything looks untidy, quite disappointing for a new build development.

Overall, if we were looking to buy a new build again, we would stay clear of Abbey due to the customer experience and build quality.

They also don't send out a survey of feedback after you move in, or follow up much and is down to you to contact them, which is odd, wonder why!

Great service throughout the purchase property. Excellent customer sales team with Marina and Shirley. Would have put 5 stars only because obvious snagging issues should have been easy noticed before moving in. Items needed fixing were repaired within 3 weeks as promised by helpful Simon. Overall well satisfied.

The experience with Abby New Homes have been very professional from viewing our new property to the paper work and legal requirements. Moving into the property was very smooth and Curtis has been very good dealing with the few snag that we found. Thanks to Curtis and his team for making our new house a home.

Just purchased a new build through Abbey New Homes in the Oakwell Place Development and our experience couldn’t have been better. There was a few little things when we moved in that needed fixing so we put it all on our snag list and Connor the site manager has been great! He organised the right people to come and correct the things we put on our snag list so quickly that it has made everything run so smoothly! The team that Connor has been running have worked flawlessly and I couldn’t fault them. He has made us feel very relaxed in what is a stressful time, we have no worries and are extremely thankful for such a great team working around us.
When we first started to look for our new house with Abbey Homes, Michelle was the person to talk to! She was amazing at answering all our questions and helped lead us in the right direction. She went above and beyond to held us in our move and couldn’t be more grateful!

Michelle, Curtis and the team have been nothing but wonderful since we moved in to our house in Oakwell Place with Abbey new homes.

We first spoke to Michelle when we enquired about the Maxwell. We were able to view a show home of the same house in Stoke Mandeville which was about a 30 minute drive. Michelle was really helpful throughout the whole process of us buying our house, she was happy to talk to us about any questions we had and was really supportive on completion day to get us moved in.
After we moved in the team at Abbey have been really helpful with all the snagging. Curtis has been leading a team of specialists to come and look at the individual issues we raised with great communication and in a timely manner.
Everything has been dealt with quickly and efficiently and everyone that has come over to fix snags have been really efficient and courteous.
We've nothing but good words to say about our experience and have really enjoyed the easy experience of moving into our Abbey New Home. and we absolutely love our new house.

We recently purchased a new house at Imperial Gardens, Hawkinge. The Abbey sales team and site managers were most attentive and helpful in all matters. The few small snagging faults, which I think occur with most new builds, were quickly put right with the prompt action by assistant site manager Simon. I purchased property at Manor Grange Milton Keynes in the 2nd quarter of the year. Thanks to Dean the site manager who has been helpful throughout the process of us moving in and settling down. The minor issues we have experienced since moving in i.e window not opening, doors not locking, bins not being collected when council didn't have access to our roads were treated with urgency and addressed on the same day.

It was dreadful moving into a new home with the fear of finding lots of issues however our experience was good from Abbey Homes.

A much better than expected experience with Abbey New Homes.

New house builders often get bad press and we were initially worried when reading bad reviews for other companies. Fortunately our experience with Abbey New Homes (The Hawthornes site) has been really good.

Our home is built to a much higher standard and spec vs other companies and Henry (part of the site team) was a pleasure to deal with. We love our new house and are really happy to have chosen Abbey New Homes.

Since being handed to the customer service team, most of our issues have been resolved. Honestly speaking some less urgent issues can take a while to get resolved (and need chasing) but overall things are sorted. A noticeable positive change has been since Maisie Clancy has joined the customer service team. She seems very proactive and it's reassuring to see someone like Maisie on the case!

Choosing Abbey New Homes has given us faith in new build houses and we'd be more than happy to buy from Abbey New Homes in the future!
