Clever system, wondrful support!
Getting used to a new system takes time but I have to commend the clever system this is and the brilliant support given at any time of day or night. I need to be able to control heating and security remotely and this system allows me to do that with ease. When something goes amiss, the support provided is instant and always patient! Wondrwall System: A Disappointing Investment in our New Build Property
Our experience with the Wondrwall system in our new build property by Devonshire Homes has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. Despite promises of energy efficiency and savings, we find ourselves facing numerous issues that from our experience render this system far from the revolutionary solution it claimed to be.
The most glaring flaw is the inefficiency of the infrared heat panels. Instead of uniformly heating the entire room, they create cold spots everywhere except directly beneath the ceiling-mounted panels. To achieve a reasonably warm house, we've had to resort to the recommended settings, resulting in exorbitant electricity costs of upto £30 per day, totalling a staggering estimated £900 per month if we were to stay on these settings. This astronomical expense is a far cry from the supposed cost-effectiveness promised by Wondrwall.
The so-called "smart" light switches are anything but intelligent in our opinio. The temperature readings are consistently incorrect, leading to the heat panels turning on and off at random times. Even after attempting Wondrwall's retro calibration, the issue persists, showcasing a fundamental flaw in the system's design. Moreover, the non-functional battery, installed improperly, adds to the list of grievances, with the energy section of the app not even tailored for the supplied battery.
The initial setup process was a nightmare, with the panels not working as expected, necessitating multiple visits to rectify the situation. The lack of a proper handover and minimal operational instructions further compound the problems. It seems evident that the company is failing to meet the basic standards of customer service, as evidenced by the scarcity of staff and painfully slow response times. To make matters worse, all residents on our development share similar issues.
Despite being in the property for over four months, our issues persist, forcing us to resort to using Halogen heaters for warmth due to the impracticality of using the Wondrwall infrared panels. The promised energy efficiency and savings are nowhere to be seen, and instead, we find ourselves teetering on the edge of fuel poverty.
In conclusion, buying our Devonshire Homes new build with the Wondrwall system has proven to be a regrettable investment, failing to deliver on its promises and leaving us in a state of dissatisfaction and financial strain. Our experience so far is that the Wondrwall system may not be the revolutionary solution it claims to be and they have not yet been able to convince us otherwise or rectify our issues.

We have loved having this product from the moment it was installed at first fit.
The customer service has been incomparable! Both Cam and Ali have been incredible and have remotely resolved any issues along the way with compassion and understanding. I cannot speak highly enough of the customer support and wish every company had service as efficient, experienced and understanding as the two guys I've spoken to at Wondrwall. 10/10

Had James come out to set our neighbours new lighting and heating system up and kindly agreed to do ours too even though we weren’t booked in. Went above and beyond to get it setup. Was given his whatsapp to organise getting one of the switches replaced and to contact if I was unsure about anything after it was done. Overall a great service.

Out of hours Saturday morning call. Answered immediately and listened to me trying to explain the problem before talking me through different possible solutions until we resolved the issue. Several call backs whilst we tried to reset the system and always made sure I understood what we were doing and why. I do feel its tech for the sake of tech but James was brilliant
