I have an euro account. When I spend with the card in euro you charge me in AED with dirty FX fees. Tried to call and write you. No answer. Worst customer service ever. Waiting for Revolut to enter UAE and kick you out of the games.

Very disappointing experience with Wio Business Banking
Very disappointing experience with Wio Business Banking.
Our business account has been frozen since 17 February 2026 due to an ownership change request. We submitted all required documents on the same day, and the call center confirmed that everything was complete. We were clearly told the process would take a maximum of 10 working days, and possibly even less.
Today is 16 March 2026, and it has now been almost one full month, but our account is still not active.
During this time, we have called customer support every 2–3 days, and each time we receive the same response: “Please wait another 24 hours.” About two weeks ago, someone from Wio even called us and said that our account would be activated the same day, but nothing happened.
Our business operations are being seriously affected because this account is linked with our POS system, and we cannot operate properly without access to our business banking.
On 10 March, we were given a complaint reference number: 605747 and were asked to wait another 72 hours, but there has still been no update or resolution.
The most frustrating part is the lack of transparency and accountability. Every call results in the same answer without any real progress.
For a digital bank that claims to support businesses, this level of service is extremely disappointing. We hope Wio takes immediate action to resolve this issue.

I wish I had the reviews about this horrid bank before opening an account. The WORST customer service. Rejects small incoming transfers and you have to chase for days with numerous phone calls to people who have no authority or knowledge of what is happening. Save yourself time and headache. DO NOT OPEN an account with this terrible bank.

Wio doesnt deserve all the negative reviews, i think during this difficult time in the UAE, Wio has shown very much respect to the people and went way beyond their minimum efforts to make sure all their users have a good experience.
Thank you Wio during this time for being there for your clients, I think its fair to mention that all your good things are also being noted.
Really bad bank - avoid
Really bad bank. Would not reccomend. Been trying to add my partner to the bank for a long time and they keep putting it off. Also their app is buggy and the 2fa doesn't work. I can probably say the oppurtunity cost of having a bad bank is massive when it comes to business and multiple times these guys have failed me. It's sad I have to come here to complain because the customer support always gaslight me and say they'll solve the problems when they never do anything
Lack of security and lack and service
I would give the actual app 10 / 10 as I love it.
However there are two major concerns:
1. Security. Someone was trying to deduct money from my account online, which the bank rejected. But the question is, how were they even able to get this far?
2. The customer service is REALLY BAD!! If you connect with them on WhatsApp, they don't respond until very late. When they do respond, it is after several minutes, leaving you hanging. If you want a quick response, you won't get it because each answer takes for ever and you will waste a lot of time chatting to them. If you have an hour to waste every time, go ahead.
Even when you call them, the service is below par. I dread speaking with WIO, because I have to dedicate so much time, even when I have a simple question.

Even with ID card, I couldn't still login to access my funds.
Purchasing crypto for my Frontier Invest Corp deposit seems to be a journey of no return. The customer care is clueless and unprofessional. A simple problem solving takes up to hours before it can be rectify. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone. It's a disaster.
Big garbage
Big garbage, can't wait for Revolut Business to open in UAE. They announce 2 days to open bank accounts, but stay more than 15 days for a single shareholder and normal ecommerce activity.

I’ve been using Wio Business and my account has been under verification for 8 days, while the announced timeframe is 5 days.
During this “review,” incoming payments are being blocked, which is directly impacting my business and cash flow. Support hasn’t provided a clear reason, a precise list of what’s missing, or a real ETA—just delays.
A business bank can’t afford to freeze payments without clear communication and fast resolution. I’m disappointed and I hope Wio improves both verification speed and support follow-up.

Very incompetent customer service when it comes to the business banking. There is no personal manager when things need to be resolved quickly (which is normal for businesses).
No one to talk to regarding problems…
No one to talk to regarding problems and no one responds via WhatsApp. If you need a reliable bank, better to look elsewhere. But when things work they do work, unless you have an issue and then it’s hopeless.
