After over a month my account wasn't activated

I applied for an account and it just never got approved. I contacted support 3 times within the month after I applied and each time they just said it would take 3 to 5 days for it to be resolved by "the backend team". They called the month of waiting "a slight delay". Each time I contacted support, a response from the rep would take between 10 to 15 minutes for each response. Overall this is just a horrendous service and I definitely would not recommend. If they can't even handle the registration process, then I'm concerned about the absolute abomination that I would have experienced if my account had been activated.

Very Disappointing and Bad Service

If I could rate zero, I would.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Liv Bank. I’ve been waiting for over six months for them to resolve an issue, but nothing has been done despite repeated follow-ups. The lack of seriousness and accountability from their side is frustrating.

Fortunately, I never used my account, otherwise I would have wasted even more time chasing after them for a solution. This whole experience has left me with no confidence in their services.

I’ve decided to completely close my account and would not recommend Liv Bank to anyone looking for reliable service.

This Liv bank customer service is disturbing they put u on hold for like 15 to 20 mins then instead of helping they will point out the problem they u make u feel that ur account is no ur account ur info is not ur info I called them 20 times in a day they did not help instead make me wait for long i had to recharge my phone 5 times a day u will give them all the details still they want to put u in trouble almost all the people like that

I had a terrible experience with Liv Bank. My card did not work, preventing me from making purchases, withdrawing cash from ATMs, making bank transfers, or even doing cardless transactions. When I decided to close my account, they added to my frustration by charging me AED 50 for the closure. Extremely disappointed with the service quality.

One of the fraud & scammed bank card in dubai. I have not used 3 years this account and I have negative 469 AED that I need to pay. How ?

If other banks, if account is not using 6 months , bank will send notification that account will be freezing until the customer engage with bank.

But this no even one reminder or email or mention that account process until customer found out. This is huge fraud.

I have sent email to customer care and request to cancel it & they mentioned that amount will be waiving off. Anyhow again customer care calling to me and inform that I need to pay 3000 aed then after deducting negative balance, after few days that will be revert back to my account 😵‍💫 what kind of process? I asked send email on this to be grantee , but customer care person ignored it.

I am not going to pay anything this kind of fraud will take for action against. Like wise stealing money from many people????

they take hours to give a reply.
i think there is no need of customer support team. let customers solve problem their own by getting the solutions from air and with magic. poor service

Worst bank ever ,UNRELIABLE

Worst bank ever, i made an international transfer 6days back but until now beneficiary doesnt receive the money…the worst part is LIv already deducted it to my account.. OMG SUCH A NIGHTMARE!! Ive been trying to ask for help but customer service is not responsive enough they always making a copy paste reply everyday. I will never ever do a transfer and planning to close this acct soonest. I had this card since 2019 but this time is enough!!!

Customer service is the worst!!! They just close the chat without even replying!!!!!!! No help done!!!! You are just paying to ur customer service for nothing . They are all garbage.. they are just doing a copy paste reply everyday. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! WORST BANK EVER

Your customer service is terrible. I’ve been messaging the help center, and the agent just says “Hi” and then closes the conversation. No one replies to my messages for 3-4 days!!! Even on WhatsApp, no agent at all!! When I respond to liv customer service , they immediately close the chat. Are you employing AI bots? I still have no update on my card because one of your customer agents blocked it without even sending a replacement!

poor app

poor app, they are still in the jungle era, if you face any problem you will get information after five days. there is a new app called liv-X which is more difficult to use. if you try this app you will understand that this app is developed by kids for some training purposes.

Please I advise anyone who wants open an account with Liv should not do so, because there are many Fraud cases happening and there is no response at all.They are sending automated messages that you should wait for 60 to 90 days which is not making sense at all, considering that you’ve lost big amount of money due there lack of security for there esteemed bank holders. Plus they are still charging for the investigation. Really disappointed with them.

One of the worst customer service

I can't believe I just opened an account with Liv bank and quickly discovered that their customer service is absolutely terrible. It's practically non-existent! I've been waiting for hours without receiving any response. This is beyond frustrating and concerning. I have made up my mind - I will be closing this account immediately.

Horrible customer service

Worst online banking support in the UAE, i messaged their support to have my account closed immediately. I had to wait for more than an hour for them to reply and when they replied they just told me to use the app and ended the chat before i can even reply. And the reason i wanted to close my account is because at some point they had to hold my account for an investigation because of unexpected charges. And they held my account and my money for almost a year and nobody who i messaged or called, nobody would answer me or help me, they do not have an office where you can run to and have important issues resolved, and the worse part is their support is so bad hands down one of my worst customer support experiences in UAE. I swear there are so many other options for online banking across UAE with better services and online banking. If you have a LIV account I would highly suggest closing it and find an actual bank where it would be safer and more reliable to keep your money. (I can’t post screenshots here so I’ll just mention the name of the person i was chatting with. Name was “pinku”)

Non existant support, bad app design

It works and some of the offers are good, but a bank replacement? never.
The first thing you want to see when you open the app is your balance + transaction history (Very important).
However liv. has made the homepage as offers and forces you to enable location and bluetooth whenever you launch the app, which is unacceptable, the app is designed for kids and does not look professional at all.
Support is non existant.
Local transfers take 3 days which is extremely high compared to today standards.

on positivee side some offers are good and never had an issue with quick transfers.
