End of service bank deducted without approval
RAK Bank customer care is helpless. Employment change -customer care the same. Actually, what happened to me after the job change, even after submitting all the required documents, after one month, several requests, bank not releasing the end of service, they automatically deducted from loan .

Worst service i have ever faced . I have made a transaction from my rak bank credit card to other bank card and the money is blocked for more that 7 days as it should take only 2 working days and until now there is no update from the bank . I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the unprofessional handling of my recent complaint. Despite speaking with a representative today who acknowledged the situation and promised a follow-up, my case was abruptly closed by Ms. Wafaa without any further contact or resolution.
Furthermore, I am formally contesting the exorbitant late charges of AED 1,900 applied to a total balance of AED 5,500 for a single month's delay. These charges are disproportionate, unjustified, and lack any reasonable basis. I demand an immediate audit and reversal of these fees.
Due to this lack of professional conduct, I am requesting the following:
Immediate settlement of the actual outstanding balance (excluding the disputed charges).
Immediate closure of my credit card account and the issuance of a formal Clearance Letter today. Please be advised that I will be unemployed as of the beginning of next month and wish to terminate all banking relations with your institution.
Should this matter not be resolved fairly and promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this grievance to the Central Bank of the UAE. Additionally, I will take this matter to Social Media and Live Broadcast platforms to share my experience and highlight the bank’s practices in handling customer disputes.
I expect a decisive response and a resolution within the next few hours.
Very disappointing experience RAK Bank
Very disappointing experience with RAK Bank. Since becoming a client, the service has been consistently frustrating.
While the staff are very kind and helpful when opening an account, the experience changes completely once you become a client — services become difficult to access and interactions unhelpful.
Requesting a liability letter took over two months, with no option to apply online, via the app, or even at a branch. I was given incorrect forms, had to follow up repeatedly, and by the time the letter was issued, it was already invalid due to another installment being deducted — forcing me to restart the entire process.
Even after correcting everything, delays continued.
Customer support is equally frustrating — representatives talk over you, do not listen, and continue speaking even after I asked if I am allowed to respond.
On another occasion, I visited a branch to deposit cash, only to be told to use the ATM as this service is not provided at the teller counter. (??)
I genuinely question what services are actually provided.
Extremely inefficient and complicated for any basic request.

Had a loan buy out with them. very unprofessional agents! Wont give you any status update unless you chase the agent! They wont even apologize and wont meet half way to your schedule. As if they are doing you a favor!

The online banking experience is absolutely awful - chat does not work at all, on any device, on any day. You're better off keeping your money under a mattress than this joke of a bank. Seriously, if you don't believe me look at all the other reviews.

Worst bank in UAE - Dont even go near. Extremely poor service. 3 weeks plus to get account closed. So many emails, phone calls - useless RM's and worst IVR system entangling customers and discouraging the phone line use. Hardly any branches in Dubai. Robotic and lifeless employees. and I have a business account. Lodged multiple complaints but no one cares.

This is the second time I am submitting the same set of documents.
I have received the email and submitted the documents on February 4 and then called to follow up with the bank because there was no action taken from the bank’s side after 2 working days (as stated in the bank email) and needed to resend a confirmation email because there was no action taken from the bank’s side after 2 working days (as stated in the bank email) and the person I talked to confirmed that account and credit card will be activated on the same day, which did not happen and now here I am on a weekend without access to my own funds.
I consider this a very dismissive attitude towards your customers (and I have an account in your bank since 2010!) And this is the 2nd time after I’m being mistreated from the bank’s side. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

We visited the Al Hamra branch today for assistance in closing a business bank account. We were helped by Ms. Nadya Al Nuaimi, who recognized us when we entered the branch, despite our absence of several months. Ms. Al Nuaimi was extremely helpful, describing exactly what we needed to do to close this account, and helped us complete the paperwork that is required for submission. Ms. Al Nuaimi is an exemplary employee of RAK Bank, and we are fortunate to have her at the Al Hamra Branch.
Literally the worst support ever
Literally the worst support for business line I’ve ever seen. Our private manager NEVER answers to my calls. To get a support calling a regular line you need to enter 13 digits of your account and you need to remember them all. if you swipe your screen to check the digits they say “thank you for calling, good bye”. If you send a message by email they answer several day with a typical question like a chat bot… no help, no support

Worst bank ever, I mistakenly put receiver name mistake and it’s been 3 month still money has not been to receiver or back to my account. When sending money they do it in 2 min while it have to be back they said it need 3/4 month. WTF. This is worst bank ever.
