I can’t wait to exist being from DIB customers. I bet other banks must have better service than this. My mobile banking app got deactivated just because I forgot my pin and I’ve tried again and it says I’ve exceeded the attempt seriously?
I’ve tried calling the number and then here it goes Virtual call and had me on queue for chatting with robot for like 5 minutes and another 13 minutes waiting for customer service then my balance finished 😡

The worst bank and service ever. It’s impossible to reach to a e of the agents. Also is too complicated deal with all. Poor service. People is rude and liars. I won’t recommend this bank.
Attempted Scam by CI Staff During Auto Loan Process
I got an auto loan last July 2025 from Dubai Islamic Bank. During the process, the person who came to my workplace for the CI (Credit Investigation) tried to scam me. He said that my application might not be approved, but he could help me get approval through his “contacts” in the back office.
He kept calling me and insisted that I pay AED 1,500 in cash in exchange for his help. From the way he was speaking, I already felt uncomfortable and knew it was suspicious. I refused to give him any money and told him that if my application was not approved, that was fine I would accept it.
Thankfully, my loan was approved without any payment.
I am sharing this experience to inform the management and to encourage them to check their employees, so this will not happen to other customers. I believe that Dubai Islamic Bank is a good and reputable bank, and I hope they will take action on this matter. I am also willing to provide more information if needed.
Highly Disappointing Experience – Lack of Resolution
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received. After enduring an excessive waiting period, I was not provided with an adequate solution to my issue. The lack of professional support and efficiency made the entire interaction a complete waste of time. I expected much better customer service and unfortunately cannot recommend their services based on this experience.

If you're just thinking about opening an account here, take my advice - don't do it. You’ll end up cursing the day you made that decision. If you're already dealing with them and wondering if it's always this so bad or if you’re just 'lucky,' I’m sorry you didn’t see the first part of my review earlier.
I curse the day I opened an account with them and tried to get a mortgage. It took twice as long as they initially promised. I faced ignoring, incompetence and errors in the documents. All I got was a never-ending 'it will be ready soon.'
About Monthly Charges
I have an account in this bank. At the beginning there was no any charges but now suddenly last two months they deduct from my account as maintainance chargers. I have been a customer of Dubai Islamic Bank for the past 20 years. Overall, the bank’s services are very good, and I appreciate the quality they provide. However, there are two major issues that are extremely frustrating.
First, it is very difficult and complicated to get through to the helpline number. Reaching customer support should be simple, especially for urgent matters.
Second, the online banking app is very poor. Even after trying ten times, it often does not open. In emergency situations—such as transferring money online, paying bills, or paying school fees—the app simply does not work. It is hard to understand how such a large and reputable bank can have such an unreliable and inefficient app.

40000 UAE currency of my earnings from Frontier Invest Corp were taken out of my account without my authorization. DIB will not return my monies. I gave no OTP password for this transaction. I'm now seeking legal action against these colorful characters. My advice is take your money out of this bank and try deposit at Frontier Invest Corp. Truly dependable!
Dependable bank
The rewards and benefits on my DIB cards are actually quite good. Transactions are smooth and I haven't had any issues with hidden fees. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the customer service agents often give conflicting information depending on who you talk to. Overall, a dependable bank.

Worst banking services after sales. My debit card was expired and I’m following up for the same since then not received yet even after sending 4 emails and 5 calls to customer service each time I get a different reply from their agents and no manager or supervisor calls you back. I’m tired from them and soon will close my account.
DIB is not worth relying
DIB is not worth relying! Rating of negative will not even justify. The worst customer service I have experienced! And the most confusing/ complicated statement bill for credit card. The email that they are sending telling "total amount due" is different from total amount due that is showing in the monthly statement. For how many months Im paying the said total amount due that im receiving thru my email but my available balance seems not getting more. And the clever customer service representatives can't have the patience and knowledge to make you understand.

I had the misfortune of dealing with Ahmed Talaat, an auto sales advisor, whose communication was extremely rude and unprofessional.
My application was rejected with incorrect claims that my employer was “fake” or “imaginary,” when in reality the company I have worked for 4 years has undergone a recent acquisition. This suggests poor verification processes and a lack of knowledge on what a company acquisition is.
The manner of communication was rude, dismissive, and wildly inappropriate. Even a rejection can be handled professionally, and this was not.
This experience raises serious concerns about staff training and customer service standards. Very disappointing and zero etiquette.
