These people are scammers. They do not present the option for a hard cover until after you pay for the softcover, which immediately flagged my bank since it was an extra charge from a second website. Then they refused to respond to my concern until after they started printing my book. They are refusing the upgrade or a refund/cancel my order. They are extremely unprofessional. They have made commemorating my first child more stressful.

Not what I expected from a personalised baby book
Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with the book. It was advertised as personalised, but apart from the names and cover, my questionnaire and preferences were barely reflected. At 257 pages, it is unnecessarily long and heavy, and the paper quality feels cheap and fragile for a keepsake that should last for years. I was expecting a beautiful, personalised baby memory book for photos and memories, but instead received something closer to an encyclopedia, with lots of content I never selected and for me has no place in a baby book! I mean date ideas seriously?! Also too many games and information that should be in a parenting book not a baby book!
I really hope the company is more transparent about the actual content and personalisation options in its advertising.

Hidden monthly subscription fees
Warning: misleading subscription charges
Be extremely careful with this service. The checkout stated that a one-month subscription was included, but I was then charged €34.39 and enrolled in a recurring monthly subscription without this being made clear.
When i purchased the book it said 1 month subscription included. I don’t need the subscription.
Show mw where I’ve agreed to purchase a recurring subscription after the first month which you dcded to bundle with the book.
I’ve not opted in to purchase further subscriptions (required in EU), unless the information was hidden somewhere along the text, in which case this is not in line with EU law.
Alternatively, refund me the money.
The responses may be fast, but they appear to be largely AI-generated, with the same generic replies used for different questions.
In my experience, the checkout process is misleading and designed in a way that can result in unexpected monthly charges. Check everything carefully and monitor your bank account, because they may continue taking €34.39 every month.
After a lot of perseverance, the refund was issued. In the end, I was right. They are breaking the EU Consumer Law as they cannot sell you something without opting in for it.
