We bought discounted tickets from…
We bought discounted tickets from VirginGifts.com to be used while visiting San Antonio. After purchasing we realized that the tickets couldn't be redeemed on the same day. It was not clearly stated on the website. Thank goodness I was able to contact them. The representative, Phalela, was very helpful and tried to help us book. Even though it didn't work out and I had to ask for a refund, I feel the company tried their best to resolve the issue and my credit card was not charged. I will use them again in the future.

Unreliable and Complicated Process – Buy Directly Instead
My husband and I booked the 86th Floor Sunset Admission to the Empire State Building with Dinner at State Grill and Bar for $296. Our confirmation email stated we just needed to show the email at the establishments and that separate QR codes would follow. While the observation deck staff easily looked us up and gave us tickets, the restaurant refused to honor our reservation without the missing QR codes.
Resolving this was a nightmare. I started texting customer service at 11:00 AM, but replies came an hour apart with no resolution. After hours of back-and-forth, my husband finally found a phone number. We had to wait on hold for another hour before someone finally resolved the issue. Because of this communication breakdown, we ate an hour late, by this time it was 7:00 PM. The entire process was complicated, stressful, and unreliable. Save yourself the hassle and buy gift packages directly from the businesses instead.

There were no details before purchasing that the voucher would have to be registered further, and an additional booking request would need to be made. Now I'm getting an error message even trying to book, although it is 48hrs in advance AND the location has availability listed on their website.

I purchased a gift card for a friend's birthday and I did not receive the instant email as the website stated I would. I checked both my Inbox and Spam folder multiple times with no such luck. This left me annoyed but Lufti, from customer service saved the day. He responded to each email in a timely manner and continued communicating with me until the issue was resolved.
