Eventually I received a replacement of the Dew stick.
The product isn’t very good and could be improved. Not really worth the money! Lesson learnt!

Basically the products arrive dried up, and because the stick cases are cheap the tops don't stay on and the stuff dries up even further. Already unusable.

Not terrible but I wouldn't use it for a night out. It's okay for day wear. But they are basically large slightly tinted vaseline sticks.
The mascara is not as good as Age-Defying by No7 and the lipstick simply disappears after a few minutes.
It's definitely overpriced.

Awful overpriced rubbish. The sticks are bone dry and chalky. If you do manage get something on the skin it melts into a vile greasy film that feels horrible. The smell is quite unpleasant too. The packaging is cheap and flimsy. I was stupid enough to believe what I saw in the adverts. Won’t get caught again.

I can’t fault violet Jordan I absolutely love the products I’m well into maturing years and it works for me, I use the products every day people say how well I look , so for me it it really works, yes it does feel a bit oily when put on but it soon goes, iv not worn foundation blusher or eye shadow since I started, may not be suitable for everyone but can only say it works well for me

Don't waste your money. There's the no make up look and then there's this. Just makes your face look greasy. Very very disappointed and going in the bin.

What an amazing set of products the glow set is . Along with your mascara and a little bit of my usual cc tinted foundation it’s the only make up product I use . I have never worn a lot of makeup or felt confident applying make up but this combination is so easy to use. My skin looks and feels amazing I truly do glow and have received so many compliments about how good my skin looks and how youthful I look . Pretty perfect for a soon to be 57 year old woman - thank you for making me feel confident and good in my skin .

I was taken in by the hype - the Go and Glow seemed a grand idea but was a total waste of money. The dew stick is just a block of fat and has a horrible smell - like a giant chapstick. My husband asked why I looked so greasy! The berry stick was fine but lasted about 5 minutes and the pearl one was somewhat pointless - also really hard to apply.
I’ve looked at various YouTube examples of people applying the products and I’m following their instructions but the end result is not what I was hoping for .

Off to a bad start from the first, when the 10% discount they promised was deducted. "Lucy" at customer services sent a rather glib email in reply to my request that it be credited, to the effect that the discount was not applied because I got free shipping. Their website specifies that orders over £50 get free shipping and my order was for £87. I'd call that misrepresentation, and I feel cheated.

Onto the products. The moisturiser felt drying and sticky, and it took me a good 10 minutes and a pair of scissors to remove the foil from the top of the tube. The cleanser was nothing special. The Dew stick is, as other people have noted, just a big chapstick and provides no coverage, so I had to apply my Trinny London foundation. The Berry stick was the wrong shade for me, felt tacky, and made my lips look smaller. The Pearl stick and mascara were OK but nothing special. Certainly, nothing about this makeup justifies it's high price. I'll be sticking with Trinny London for high quality products, value for money, free samples and brilliant customer service, as I've not found any of these qualities at Violet Jordan.

POSTSCRIPT in fairness, VJ have since reimbursed me the £16.80 I was overcharged, but my opinion of the products remains the same.

UPDATE: I was eventually sent a refund for £67.20 but not for the £5 cost of reurning the items, which was a further disappointment. Disappointing products, appalling customer service. Avoid.

Cheap and nasty. Sticky. Difficult to apply. A total waste of money. Never again.

AMAZING! Been using this product for about a month and absolutely love it so much so all my other make up has been binned!
My skin feels so much better

Very disappointed with the Glow and Go set, I wish I’d read reviews before I purchased. The products are all very stiff, they’re difficult to apply and don’t even make any difference to appearance. The first step, Dew feels quite grainy and drags my skin. I watched the video and used a brush for the second step, Pearl and I saw no difference after several applications. It’s taught me a lesson - don’t be taken in by advertising!

How I wish I'd checked Trustpilot first. I took advantage of a 35% discount across the site and bought everything! I had great expectations of massively reducing my skincare and makeup routine.
I am 63 with dark spots, redness, capillaries, lines etc. My excitement soon turned to disappointment when I first opened and tried the 'Multitasker' for the first time... made my whole face sting so that was washed off so I used my usual serum/moisturiser that first day. I tried again the next day with the same reaction and my skin is not even sensitive! So having opened the seal and tested the product I cannot return it.
Next, the "Dew".... oh dear a vaseline stick is the nearest I could describe that. So again, washed off and start over using usual routine of serum, moisturiser, concealer & foundation.
The Berry and Pearl sticks were "ok" but nothing special and I already had blush, lipstick and highlighter from code beautiful that wasn't much different.
The cleanser was fine but microfibre cloths work better at removing than muslin squares provided.
So if you have mature skin with blemishes and are not self conscious of the world seeing your brown spots and red nose and love a shiny face, this could be what you're looking for. Sadly not for me and grateful I only wasted £74.
Furthermore when I emailed the company expressing my disappointment I received no reply from "Lucy" but to add insult to injury I received an automated email asking if I'd "forgotten" to claim my free "rounds" (makeup remover pads?) which was obviously too late as my order had already been shipped.

Save your money and buy a chapstick.

The Dew 'highlighter', which you are supposed to be able to use anywhere on your face, is sticky and greasy when applied and stays that way. Feels horrible on and my hair is constantly sticking to it.
The other two sticks, berry and pearl are less sticky but don't really do much other than a very light tint, even on fair skin.

This is so disappointing. It's like putting vaseline on your face, it looks greasy and shiny. In windy weather my hair was sticking to my face (not a good look). I did watch the videos to see if I was applying it incorrectly, but no.

It feels like you you've put chapstick on your skin. I tried Glow & Go Set. The berry - for the lips and blush - the blush stayed on longer than the lips, which was a great colour, but gone in less than 5 mins. The Dew - highlighter - yes I glowed all over, and my face looked like it needed power as it was so greasy. It was soon gone and so was the pearl that I used for the eyemakeup. Sounded a good idea - 3 products - all day make up for older ladies. I watch a couple of videos and tried applying it again, incase I did something wrong....and got the same results. When they asked me for a review...I wrote to them and said basically what I've just written here - the response I got was......I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been happy with your purchase, but thank you very much for your feedback - it's really appreciated.

*Edited, as a further email did get through and got a response.
1. They offer a 100% risk-free money back guarantee. The website states this does not apply to anything bought at sale price. Or anything that has been opened and tried. Which would make it a 0% guarantee. However, when my emails finally got delivered, they did assure me the money-back guarantee was valid, and they did refund me. So at best, the website offers mixed messages on this.
2. Product is greasy, and has a very unpleasant stale smell.
3. Emails to their contact address bounce. When an email finally got through to them, however, the customer service team were very helpful.
Still not something I'd buy again, as I didn't get on with the product at all, but at least they finally resolved the problem with returning it.
