I was at Vinyasa Yogashala in July 2023 for a yoga retreat. The school is very welcoming, with well-trained teachers and delicious food. The entire team's commitment to making the retreat the best experience possible can be seen.
I was so enchanted that, upon returning, I signed up for the Yoga Teacher Training Course - YTC 200 hours - online.
I already have two other Yoga Teacher diplomas validated by the International Yoga Alliance. Still, I learned a lot from this program. There are practical asana classes of various styles: Hatha Yoga, Asthangavinyasa, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga - all incredible. Alignment classes really deepen and broaden our view of asanas.
Furthermore, as yoga is much more than asanas, the course has excellent classes on yoga philosophy, mantras, teaching methodology, meditation, pranayama, kundalini and tantra. Very complete. Too deep. Well-prepared teachers.
The theoretical materials are of high quality and motivating.
I finish the course with the desire to study more and more. Watch all classes again and continue on the Yoga journey.

I recently completed an online yoga teacher certification course, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The course provided a comprehensive and well-structured curriculum, allowing me to deepen my understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching techniques. The instructors were highly knowledgeable. The flexibility of the online format was a game-changer, allowing me to learn at my own pace and fit my studies into my busy schedule.

One of the best yogashalas you can come across, if not the BEST! The location in Rishikesh, in the heart of Tapovan, the school offers vast and comfortable accomodations, generous vegetarian meals three times a day and the staff is kind and helpful (all kinds of services can be requested from the helpful managers (Rahul-Ji) :))
for the 200-hours YTT, the teachers that were involved in the course are also competent, with a quality of teaching and a deep knowledge of the Yoga history and all pillars of it, nothing comparable to what the westen world offers in terms of YTT.
They also organize excursions to beautiful places on days off. Do not hesitate! This is the yoga school to choose for your upcoming training.

I had an incredible experience at Vinyasa Yoga Shala this September. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and I truly felt heard and valued. Sure some things may come as a surprise if you are not use to traveling to this type of country -since some things works Indian style - but in my opinion that is a part of the experience. The teachers were exceptional and highly inspiring. Overall, it was a fantastic month!

It was an amazing experience at Vinyasa Yogashala! Most of the teachers were wonderful and knowledgeable, especially Sadhu Shri Ji and Aman Ji. Everybody at the Shala was always happy to assist and help whenever we needed something. Only giving 4 stars because the food was good but very monotone and often mostly carbs, not many proteins and it was sometimes a bit unorganized but that’s just Indian style I suppose :)
Overall I made the best decision doing my YTT here and I gained a wonderful new Yoga family. Thank you so much!

Amazing - highly recommended. This is India & conditioned ways of doing things may be different, but just get with the vibe. Ask the questions & you will be rewarded. Full on and worth every penny.

It was a very valuable experience. Tome of the teachers are great, some need some work. The food stayed a bit the same and didn't have enough protein. Overall a very warm and safe atmosphere the staff were great, accommodation comfortable. Watch out for the monkeys on the balcony!

I would highly recommend Vinyasa Yogashala School.
The level of teaching is very high, the atmosphere is great. All the people you meet are like minded which makes the whole experience exceptional.
We also did lots of extra activities outside the training, such as rafting, listening to kirtan, Bollywood dancing, Going to see Beatles ashram. You fully immerse into the culture. So I would highly recommend it if you would like to come to Rishikesh this is the school to go for.

Absolutely overwhelming experience. I joined the 200 hrs YTT with Vinyasa Yogashala and it is very elaborated. I took the online course and I loved every lesson of it. Taking the course online allowed me to go through each lesson at a time that suited me best and to repeat them if I felt the need for it. I have learned so much, from practicing asanas to meditation, mantras, yoga philosophy and so much more. The instructors are amazingly knowledge. I have completed my 200 hrs YTT and now looking ahead to join Vinyasa Yogashala again for my 300 hour! Thank you to all at Vinyasa Yogashala, I would highly highly recommend the course.

The Yoga Teacher Training from Vinyasa Yogashala is great, very well constructed, well structured and very rich in in-depth knowledge. I felt very comfortable there with the friendly teachers and will do further trainings there.

I found the Vinyasa Yoga Shala Course very informative and easy to follow. It goes into a lot of depth about yoga - asanas, philosophy, anatomy and more. I would highly recommend this course.

Just completed my 200 hr Yoga teacher course with Vinyasa Yogashala. This is a great online course for Yogis wanting to learn and take their Yoga to the next level. Easy to follow, provides good understanding of the Philosophy of Yoga. Enjoyable Practices, with in-depth teachings covering Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Meditation are more. 100% recommend.

I completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Vinyasa Yogashala, and it exceeded all my expectations. I felt like the whole course was very well planned and organized. For sure some days were very challenging for me, but at the end of the day, I learned so much about discipline and developed an authentic understanding of yoga. I'm very grateful for the experience, time, people, and space. You don’t only get a Yoga certificate, but a true authentic yoga experience and knowledge. Completing my 200hr yoga teacher training at Vinyasa Yogashala has been one of the most beautiful, intense and transformative experiences. The staff went above and beyond to ensure the cohort felt secure and happy. Monsoon season had its challenges, but the staff ensured we were still able to go on excursions and explore Rishikesh. The teachers are phenomenal, I can’t speak more highly of their knowledge and support. I highly recommend completing your training at Vinyasa Yogashala. Spending a month at the Vinyasa Yogashala for the 200 hours training was a wonderful and transformative experience ! I learnt so much about yoga and engaged in a deep transformation. The teachers are extremely competent and professional and passionate about their matter. The facilities were great, the staff was so kind and really taking care of us! I'm so grateful for their support all throughout this amazing month is India !

Vinyasa Yogashala is amazing!! The teachers are so knowledgeable, helpful, nice, and inspiring. I feel so lucky and grateful to have been able to do my YTT and learn about the real meaning of yoga, beyond the asanas. It truly is a family community. I learned more than I thought was possible in this month and will hopefully be coming back for my 300 hour.

really enjoyed Vinyasa Yogashala. I couldn't
ask for a better yoga school. The people are nice and they are always helping you with every aspects of your experience which is a big plus in a foreign country. The place is in a calm area of Rishikesh and we feel very safe.
There are also a lot of cafes and shops around that you can go by walk. The teachers are very nice, patient and knowledgeable and they share their passion with all their students. Every level of yoga students are welcomed, as I was a beginner myself. With the patience of the teachers I realized posture I couldn't think I will be able to do. We really feel like a family. The installations are very comfortable and the food is amazing. They cooked for us with love and smile. The organisation was perfect and we also had the opportunity to celebrate Indian independance day and to go for some extra activities. Also the free massage was the best I have ever had.
