My experience at this yoga school has been very enriching. I have learned a lot and feel grateful for everything I’ve gained during my time there.

The staff were very attentive and always willing to help, and the teachers were highly professional — you can really tell they are passionate about what they do. The food was also very good, although I would have appreciated a bit more variety.

The only downside for me was that there were more students than what was mentioned on the website. Because of that, I felt that I didn’t get as much hands-on practice as I expected, especially when it comes to learning how to adjust postures.

Overall, it has been a very positive experience and I would still recommend it.

My experience at Sarvodaya Yoga Shala was really transformative. I have progressed in my yoga practice and I am confident in my ability to teach when I go home.

The teachers are exceptionally knowledgeable and deliver the traditional teachings of yoga with authenticity and depth, including mantra chanting, pranayama (breath work), meditation, and yoga philosophy. If you’re hoping to organise retreats in the future, this training provides a strong foundation.

The owner and manager were kind, supportive, and empathetic throughout the course, which was important given the intensity of the training.

The private chef prepared authentic Indian meals every day, which were delicious. The school immersed us in Indian culture by taking us to spiritual events and places in Rishikesh.

The location is beautiful, set up in the mountains, peaceful, fresh air, yet still within easy reach of Rishikesh town. One of the best cafés in Rishikesh is right opposite the school. The excursions were brilliant too. I never expected to go white water rafting on the Ganges! It was such a fun and exhilarating experience.

I leave not only with the school’s teachings but also with my own personal growth. Thank you to the Sarvodaya Yoga School for such an inspiring experience.

I had the best experience at Sarvodaya. I did a lot of research before selecting this school and it lived up to every expectation. The teachers were amazing. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Food was fresh and tasty every day. Location of the school is beautiful, it’s surrounded by mountains and we were blessed to see the sunrise every day. Everything is very organised and nothing was too much trouble. Vikas ji is very friendly and down to earth person that makes the experience and the school more special. I truly hope to return one day for my 300hr training! If you are searching for a great school, fantastic teachers then look no more.

A fantastic experience. Teachers were so highly motivated and committed to our training. Their experience and knowledge was outstanding and I gained so much, in terms of my personal practice and my confidence to teach this beautiful practice to others. Being part of a group was great and we benefited much from each other. There was also much fun and laughter.

Sarvodaya vinyasa yoga school opened a different aspect towards living my life. Staying here with people from different community, country and cultural differences as a family broaden my mind and the practices that I learned from the best and experienced teachers helped me establish connection with my deeper self. Came to vinyasa Yogashala with zero experience in teaching and leaving with lot of knowledge.
Best place for Beginners, intermediate and Advance practitioners to get good exposure .Staffs are friendly and taking extra care for the Beginners.
Mind Blowing theoretical classes of Anatomy and Philosophy. Good surroundings to practice yoga.

Supporting staffs are friendly and will be ready to help at any time . Rooms and campus are neat and clean . Food is really good and recommend to everyone it worthy.

if you wanna do a YTT in rishikesh, this is definitely the place to go. ❤️ the teachers are great, the accommodation is especially for indian standard great, food is good and its beautiful up in tapovan. you will learn so much and feel a lot of love, so can really just recommend it to go there!!

This was my first experience in a 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training at Sarvodaya Vinyasa Yoga School and I am a complete beginner so from that point of view I feel I could not have asked for a better experience. I Have learned so much in such a short time. The teachers here are genuinely interested in helping the students gain knowledge and understand the most inticrate details of everything. They are open for questions and are very knowledgeable themselves. The owner
(Mr.Ashish ji) and the whole staff from teachers to kitchen staff to cleaning are very accommodating for any request coming from the students. The location of the school is breath taking with beautiful mountain views. Before choosing this school i did an extensive research for almost a month and short listed few schools but finally decided to join this one and I absolutely made the right decision. Highly recommended.

If you have the opportunity take the leap and attend this school. Their level of dedication, focus, mixed with fun and playfulness is quite amazing. My yoga and spirituality deepened immensely. There’s were field trips and the most amazing food made for you daily. Ahhh talking about my experience is making me miss my time with these amazing yogis. Oh and taking daily dips in the Ganges was such a beautiful thing.
