Lovely 1960s teak mirror, just as shown on the Vinterior website. A little temporary hiccup with communication between the seller and the courier, but all was sorted out in the end. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have bought antique pieces before through Vinted, and the site is both very easy to use and has a wide range of antique items of all sorts. Each time the transaction has gone very well and the vendors have handled everythnig very professionally. I will certainly use Vinted again the next time I'm looking for antique/vintage pieces.

The website is easy to use and the seller was very helpful. She managed to work around dates that we weren’t available to take delivery. The delivery process was efficient and we were kept up to date with progress.

It was so easy to buy a quality piece of furniture and it was delivered without a hitch. Perfection!

I have sold 2 items of furniture back in October and despite emailing and trying to contact them I still have not managed to withdraw my balance, no phone numbers to contact and really difficult to contact in regard to this

Vinterior helped me when I needed them, I was lacking a tracking number for one of my orders, so they responded quickly.

Phenomenal idea, lovely branding and on surface exactly what you want from a vintage furniture/art dealer in the 21st century. Having said this, as a seller, the platform is largely unusable and not very user-friendly especially when you have experience dealing with platforms such as Ebay that make the experience easy breezy.

You contact customer service and you get an immediate reply from an AI agent, ending in an endless loop of doom where it's really hard to get in touch with a human and get your problems solved.

My advice would be to improve the user experience of the platform so that the reliance on customer service is reduced rather than introducing AI agents in response to the poor experience that don't even solve your problems.

Buying was simple and delivery very fast.

The company operates in bad faith. They charge extremely high delivery fees, even for nearby shipments, and then deduct another excessive amount as a sales commission. I was genuinely shocked by this situation and felt completely taken advantage of. I contacted the company’s agents to try to get a refund of the commission fee, but they simply refused without offering any reasonable explanation. This experience has been very disappointing and has seriously undermined my trust in their services.

The fact that Vinterior acts as contact between vendor and purchaser is convenient and reassuring.

To be fair, this was a seller problem, not a Vinterior problem.

I totally understand that when you buy an antique -- especially online -- you're buying an item 'As Is.' But this was a whole different level of 'As Is.' The cabinet we ordered arrived so filthy that it was genuinely a health & safety issue.

On the outside, it looked perfectly fine, as in the photos (except for the scratches & dents, which the listing showed, so we knew what we were in for).

On the inside, it arrived covered with black mould. Before I could see the mould, I opened the cabinet doors, and both my husband and I were absolutely bowled over by the unbelievably strong mould smell. There's NO WAY that seller could NOT have noticed this powerful stench before they shipped it. What's even more shocking is that the seller is proper antique shop -- a business that does this professionally -- not a one-off seller! They should know better, to say the absolute least.

Then (per the instructions I found online), I removed the drawers to clean the inside shelves, and it got way, WAY worse. There was SO MUCH mould behind the drawers that the mould was literally growing on top of itself and hanging off the wood in large clumps.

The cleaning took me many hours and many rounds. One round was not enough. I put the effort into the cleaning because, even if I returned the item, I did not want black mould spores flying around the air inside my house. I'm especially sensitive to mould (and even if not, who wants that?) I took many photos to document the mould.

I have yet to get the response from the seller. But, regardless of the response, needless to say, this experience has made me much more cautious about buying antiques online.
