If I could leave 0 stars I would. Have sold over 100 items on Vinted and no issues. Sold a hair product and packaged it with bubble wrap and padded packaging and a proper courier bag. Buyer reviewed item damaged, buyer cracked the lid and filled the packaging bag with water a claimed item got damaged. Buyer blocked me and received a refund and for to keep said ‘damaged’ item. Vinted refused to accept my images I took of the bubble wrapped item as proper packaging and refused me compensation. Buyer frauded me and yet Vinted refunded them. An absolute disgrace, do not sell as your not protected at all once the item is sent

Cant put less than 1 star. Site is useless, couldn't get my location changed from Paris, France. Im based in Ireland, it Defaulted to it everytime I used the app or the site on a browser. Totally useless customer service they couldn't figure it out or get it changed, so I dont actually know what its like to use, because anytime I looked at anything it was items being sold in France, with the descriptions in French... total waste of time dont bother...!!!

Unfortunately I cannot put less than 1 star. I bought some Birkenstock. I had to pick them up at the lockers. Unfortunately the locker was empty ( pretty easy to understand, no need to be that smart) I spoke to the support in order to explain the situation. They do not read anything, I spoke to 20 different people who kept telling me to pick it up. Explained it 20 times. Losing my patience. Finally, it seems that they understood that I had an issue with the parcel. So they kindly told me that they need the parcel to be returned in order to cancel the transaction. I ve been explaining 5 times that the parcel cannot be returned as it never arrived ( other thing that seems to be easy to understand) . I lost it and tried to speak to a manager but it s impossible. Do not have any problem with vinted or you will have to deal with the worst customer service on this planet. It s a shame, it s unacceptable. I m so tired!!!!!
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible. I had an issue that I never received my parcel eventhough post tracking states it was delivered. I believe it was lost or delivered elsewhere. Once I contacted customer service they are refusing to open an investigation with courier, eventhough it is their responsibility as post office must receive their official enquiry, otherwise they wont investigate. Vinted customer service said they will not investigate because tracking states it was delivered. There is no other way to complaint. I lost item and lost money! absolutely horrible !!!!

Extremely disappointing customer service experience with Vinted.
I sold an item which was shipped successfully using the postage label generated by Vinted. Due to a postage delay, the transaction was automatically cancelled by their system before the tracking updated, even though the buyer ultimately received the item.
The buyer confirmed receipt, and I provided screenshots and tracking information multiple times. I was then instructed by Vinted’s own automated system to relist the item and have the buyer purchase it again in order for payment to be processed. I followed all instructions exactly.
Since then, I have spent an unreasonable amount of time going back and forth with customer service, repeatedly explaining the exact same situation to different agents who either did not read the messages properly or completely misunderstood the issue.
What was most frustrating was how quickly customer service seemed to try to pass the issue elsewhere instead of actually resolving it, for example by saying “you need to raise another ticket” or redirecting me to another process rather than properly reviewing the information already provided and taking ownership of the issue.
The item has already been physically delivered, so it is impossible to “ship it again,” yet I kept receiving responses asking me to do things that made no sense in the circumstances.
Delayed postage is a very common issue, so it is shocking how badly this process is handled. The entire experience has been unnecessarily stressful, frustrating, and time consuming just to receive payment for an item that was successfully delivered.
This experience has completely put me off using Vinted again.
Don't bother with Customer Service
I received a bag that was broken and the seller agreed to a refund and paid for a label. The label wouldn't generate so I contacted customer service who told me to pay for a new label with my own money (even though the item was not as described).
It has taken them over five weeks to fix this issue. Between AI chatbots and staff who copy and paste "we are investigating this" templates the Vinted customer service is absolutely useless

They steal your money and refuse to let u use it. They also will ban your account and not let u sell if u sell too many items. This app is beyond fraudulent. Their good reviews are all paid for. I got the link in the beginning to their scam offer for good ratings. Read the one star ratings. Those are from the real customers. This app is nothing but theft and fraud. They also steal your money using the bank routing info u have to give them in order to get your money u made from sales. If u don't click to not let them use your info, they sell your personal info. That's why they have no fees. They're selling your info for money.

Terrible site I can't get any help from customers service thats actually any help I have €30 in their account for runners i sold and I can't get the money out of Vinted into my bank account and their customers service department doesn't seem to do anything about it so basically they stole the €30 form me . Avoid this site at all cost. they got a riview score of only 1.4 in ireland (terrible)but in other countries it's all about 4 stars.
App nonsense
Really disappointed with whatever is going on with the app at the moment - no buyer notifications, items get stuck at upload stage. Also, sizing is absolutely all over the place and quality of products sold declined dramatically. First year or so of using, brilliant - great value. Now, some sellers selling stuff listed at wrong sizes, quality condition misleading and trying to seek resolution through app not always easy and pricing ridiculous for certain labels but not others - makes no sense. There is also no way to contact the company easily about technical issues or monitiring of sellers 'miselling' with impunity both of which are infuriating. Vinted, had a great model - what is going on, do better!

The platform gives the impression you can sell items freely, but the reality is completely different. After listing genuine, good-quality handbags with my own photos, my listings were hidden, removed, and my account restricted for “commercial activity” — something that is not clearly explained until after they penalise you.
It feels misleading and, at times, scam-like in how it operates. You are allowed to list items, but once you do it properly or at any sort of scale, you get shut down.
Meanwhile, the platform appears to be full of low-value, poor-quality items with basic or amateur photos, yet properly presented products get flagged or removed. There is no consistency.
On top of that, there is effectively no real support. No direct contact, no proper help, just automated messages and generic responses when something goes wrong.
Rules are unclear and enforced after the fact.
Listings removed even when using your own photos.
Account restricted without proper explanation.
No proper support or contact.
This might work for someone clearing out a wardrobe, and for someone who wants to buy cheap rubbish that probably should be thrown in a skip anyway, but it is not a serious selling platform. Very frustrating and a complete waste of time.

Extremely bad experience with Customer Service,after buying a garmet that was with spots and material discoloration. Vinted declined the complaint even though they were notified with pictures as proof within an hour of collecting that the sale is not accepted. Never ever using this platform.

As most people only leave reviews when they are dissatisfied I thought I would leave a positive one for what its worth! I have sold 10 items so far and bought 3 all with no issues. The site relies on people's honesty so is always going to be open to abuse. My advice - dont buy anything too expensive or sell anything too valuable and that way no matter what you will have lost little. Most expensive item I sold was 100euro which is quite a lot but then even if I got scammed as a seller it was just sitting in my wardrobe doing nothing anyway! Most people are decent and personally I only get nervous of the sellers with huge amounts of items for sale. So far so good for me and feel good about sending my unused stuff to be used and loved.

Seller blocked me after ignoring me saying she posted them - 3 days later she said her mum posted them = no one has and vinteds t&c state I’ll get a refund if no evidence of postage
12 days now = 10 business days @ vinteds claiming it’s 7 buisness days considering Royal Mail deliver 6 days a week not 5

Ecco come lavora Vinted rispetto ad altri portali di commercio usato. Esperienza da dimenticare, assolutamente! Mai più acquisti su Vinted! Racconto come funziona il trucchetto, visto che la pratica ormai è ben nota a troppi utenti. Acquisto un laser disc da venditore francese (privato) quasi 2 mesi fa, pago e lui spedisce (credo), in ogni caso il tracciamento appare regolare. Noto che passa troppo tempo, ogni tanto controllo in chat, ma tutto rimane sospeso fino a quando Vinted mi comunica il pacco risulta 'smarrito'. Nella stessa chat Vinted avvisa che devo attendere fino al 17 aprile prima di comunicare con l'assistenza e sollevare il problema. E intanto la tirano lunga. Passa il 17, e io controllo solo il 19 aprile come stanno le cose: ebbene Vinted ha girato i soldini al venditore, e tutti felici e contenti! Il pacco risulta 'perso' e questo lo conferma anche Vinted. Dal 17 aprile al 19 passano oltre 48h perciò Vinted disattiva il pulsante 'ho un problema' e ti attacchi al tram! Avete capito come funziona? 2 mesi di attesa e 48h per segnalare il problema, così Vinted ha incassato la commissione, e il venditore bello contento. E io? Io non ho ricevuto nulla! L'assistenza Vinted rifiuta ogni mia richiesta di rimborso, oltretutto i pagamenti si effettuano solo con carte di credito, perciò impossibile bloccare la transazione rispetto al sistema Paypal. La pratica risulta - non conforme - alle norme del Codice del Consumo, ma Vinted se ne sbatte!! In realtà il venditore sarebbe responsabile fino alla consegna (cosa che non è avvenuta), e dovrebbe lui stesso rimborsare l'acquirente. Ovviamente quel brigante venditore francese si è tenuto i soldi!! Evviva Vinted! Comprate comprate, ne vedrete delle belle!
Terrible support
I made several purchases, but I had an issue with one in particular. An Post marked it as delivered, but it simply was not delivered to my home, and the app does NOTHING for the customer. They didn’t ask An Post for any proof of delivery. I was left without my product and without my money. We pay insurance on every order for NOTHING. TERRIBLE support.
Vinted Support Scammers
Sold a pair of authentic trainers that cost me over £100 but the buyer said were counterfeit. Told them to return them and they returned a cheap book. Flagged to vinted and told them to check the weight difference. Received one email back and then nothing despite sending 3 separate emails chasing a response. Will be raising the matter via Money Claims Online.
