Beautiful design using very soft fabrics. The clothing is made to a high level/standard. Hopefully the working conditions are good for the employees in China. Varley always excels.

Excellent clothing

Excellent clothing. Quality at it's best. A tad on the expensive side but their clothing is just of a really great standard and worth the extra cost. Super fast delivery as always. I love gifting these to my mom as thank you presents.

Terrible - would not recommend

Terrible customer service! I received confirmation of a refund in early October but it was never credited to my account. I had many frustrating exchanges with Varley via their online chat facility, during which there were very lengthy delays, and via email, all to no avail. I requested a call back but was told they do not have facilities for telephone correspondence. Ultimately I raised a dispute with my credit card company which was resolved in my favour. I submitted a review to Varley's website reflecting my experience but they did not publish it. I would not recommend this company.

After reading Varley's response to my review, in particular the following,
"We see your ticket was then escalated to a member of our management team in an attempt to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, we did not receive a further response", I would like to point out that after the issue was escalated to management I sent three further emails (8 Jan, 9 Jan and 16 Jan 2026) but the issue was not resolved. Correspondence from Varley was extremely poor. There was no acceptance of responsibility and there were inaccuracies, including the amount I was owed. Fortunatley I had enough information to satisfy my credit card company that my claim was valid.
With regard to the rationale for not publishing my review on your company website, I note that there was already a review posted (22 May 2025) from a customer complaining that they had not received their item yet and that they had had no resonse from your customer service team - nothing to do with "the product itself". Furthermore, if a customer has a bad experience they should be able to report this for the consideration of other customers who are considering a purchase.

Our team always aims to resolve tickets in a quick and concise manner. We are saddened that your encounter was not to the standard we hold here at Varley. This has been discussed internally so that this does not happen again. We are, though, glad that it was resolved with your bank.

Regarding your product review, our website review platform is designed specifically for feedback relating to the product itself (such as fit, fabric and performance). As your submission focused on your customer service experience, it did not meet our publishing guidelines. We apologize if this was not clearly explained at the time. We absolutely value feedback on service, as it helps us improve, even though it is managed separately from product reviews.

We appreciate your time and will work to improve our communication and practice.

We are truly sorry for the miscommunication on our end that caused this to happen. This is not at all the experience we would want you to have. There could have been actions taken on our part to better explain the current status of the case, as well as correct any details.

I spoke with my team about this to avoid this from happening again. As for the email responses, we did reply to each one. The last message we see on file was sent from our customer service team on January 16 at 6:16 pm EST. Our message was asking for some more information to resolve the refund through another platform.

I ordered for the first time and I love…

I ordered for the first time and I love the pants and sweatshirt. I ordered size small in sweatshirt and medium for pants. I have now ordered another set in a smaller size to decide which size fits better. I will definitely buy from Varley as the quality is very good.

Mislead and disappointment

I been redirected from Facebook to their website, from the ad you can understand that the whole suite is for sale at £105. It was after 10pm when I proceeded, choose the colour, size and ordered without any thought. After few days a bag arrived with a brand on the box which ruined my surprise as my wife seen and understood what is in the box. We opened to check the size and find out it is only the top that I ordered. Good trick which lead to dissapointment.
