Purchased phone a week ago online. So far I'm really impressed with the service.

Order made on line, no problems there. Delivery date given. Didn't get the phone on that day as they required further information by 16.00........only they sent me an e-mail at 15.20.......giving me just 40 minutes to give them what they wanted......
So, information passed the next day and was promised delivery the next day.......didn't arrive. Phoned their 'customer care' team to complain. Was promised compensation for my troubles in 14 days, and delivery then following day. Fair enough, the phone arrived. My compensation hasn't. Its 21 days now and counting.......

I now have 2 phones through dial a phone and am more than satisfied with the phones,free gifts and prices. The website was easy to use and the person that rang to help process my order was very polite and very helpful. If in the future i want a phone il be using dial a phone.

You always worry when arranging something like a mobile phone over the internet but to get the best deals you simply have to. I went with Dialaphone and have been really impressed by the service they offer. My phone and phone service arrived exactly when they said they would and I was given straightforward advice when I called, by an excellent customer service rep. This sounds like I have shares in Dialaphone but I honestly haven't! If you're looking to trust an internet company with your precious mobile phone custom, I would heartily recommend them.

I got a cracking deal from Dial a Phone, top of the range phone and a good contract for a very cheap price, much better than any other website by about 32%, I will be using them again when my current contract is up.

My daughter asked for a white Blackberry for her birthday, this proved difficult to find.
Dialaphone not only came up trumps with the white Blackberry, they also had the best deal, price wise, too.
The phone was delivered on time, the next day. Super service.
Also the sim had been activated and was ready to use straight away..

This must have been the easiest purchace ever. Phoned up, really pleasent operator went through the details in about 10 minutes and ordered the stuff. Got emails at every stage updating me on what was going on and got my phone and tablet the next working day.. ordered it on the Friday and it arrived on Monday....

Please note I raked through sites for weeks before deciding on a company to but my GF's birthday present from.

Delivery was awesome! I mean I asked for it on Monday (from Thursday) and it came early (Saturday) but seriously folks if concern over delivery there probably the best as I was VERY cautious as alot of folk ripping folk off!

Aint used the phone as aint the GF bday but the box was security sealed and no bumps or nothing, will most likely use again due to this.

Also the cheapest value for a Sony Ericson Xperia Arc S in white from an actual Aberdeen retailer. (£190 inc $10 topup)

I was a bit reluctant to buy a phone on line. I did it because the price being offered was tempting. Besides, I did not have time to go around looking for a deal. With some dominant anxiety, I placed my order. Although, nothing happened for 24 hours but once an email confirming the delivery details was received, it was a matter of time before the item was at my door step. I got my phone within less than 48 hours. The phone was a present for my daughter and she has not looked back. I could not ask for a better service!

As I said Dialaphone had the best deal and I looked everywhere,
delivery was quick and on the overall everything went smoothly
I have my contract with Dialaphone for only a week but for now I'm a happy customer

If you are looking to purchase a new mobile, then why not try dialaphone. They have a large choice of phones, prices, terms and other offers. Give them a try before you commit to buy and see what good value offers they have.

Buying from Dialaphone was simple. The only irritating aspect was having to have another "product" and having to cancel it! Some sort of appliance information service which I would be charged for after a month if I did not cancel it. I managed to but will see if I get charged anyway!
I would recommend this company as they gave me a very good package-cheaper than I could get anywhere else.

Ive dealt with third party agents (e2save mainly) before when getting a phone contract and had no problem whatsoever. Just remember to be on the ball with everything - paperwork, phone calls, billing, direct debits and cashbacks. Ive seen many 4/5 star reviews and I assume that those people got exactly what they wanted - it was the same for me with e2save: I saw many 1/2 star ratings, but because I had no problem with them, it was OK.

However, you really get to know what a company is like when things go wrong. In my case I got the phone quickly but the SIM is not activating (I suspect its a credit issue with Orange - DAP checks access but Orange has a different method, ideally they should only despatch when you pass the phone operator's credit check). So I guess I'm going to be out of pocket as *the customer* has to send back the phone (because they only get the kickback from Orange when the SIM activates), and, write off any accessories that I bought . The way they go about this is pretty heavy handed too: e-mails telling you that if you don't send the phone they assume you want to buy for an overinflated price (around 150% the usual price). While not totally DAP's fault, this does highlight a weakness in their system (If you Google it, you'll find many similar cases).

Did I forget to mention DAP's aftercare? They avoid you like the plague, the phone system is like a maze where they *try* not to contact you and online responses take 2+ days with a simple "Have a nice day" to let you know you're done so you have to start all over if your issue is not resolved.

Many of these companies have ratings to the extreme, and I think it's because when things go right the prices are great and you don't have to deal with them at all, but if things go wrong, boy, you better be ready for a full on migraine.

TLDR: The prices are so low that if you have a masochistic streak you should take the risk. But encounter problems and you are probably screwed.
