Urban Drivestyle Recenzje 54

I bought a UDX Panza which a received in February. Overall the bike is great, it has a few minor drawbacks (see below) which aren't avoidable in my opinion.

Pro's:

-The bike looks absolutely awesome! Everywhere I go people are complementing me about it, turning their heads, asking me questions about it
- Handling is really good.
- It feels really firm and strong.
- I took it apart several times, because I modified it, had to change the tires, etc. And what I can say from that is: This really is German engineering! Everything is attached really well, brackets are really strong, every where possible stainless steel bolts and nuts are used, accessories and bike parts are all from well known, good quality manufacturers,... Long story short I don't think the build quality can get any better.

Con's, this is more nit-picking than anything else, but nothing is perfect and I want to give my honest review here:

- The pedals are placed quite low, so it's very easy to hit them on the street in the corners (easier than with other bicycles).
- The fenders are prone to rust, so maintaining them well and cleaning them often is advised. Would be nice if they could offer plastic or aluminium fenders.
- Communication with the company can be difficult at times and there is definitely room for improvement. I had several discussions with them through e-mail, there have been misunderstandings and mistakes have been made. However they went the extra mile to set things straight and in the end I am a very happy customer.
- As last, this is not really a con, but more like a warning to feature customers: Don't be fooled by the fat tires and the full suspension on the bike, this is not an off-road bike (hence the name Urban Drivestyle I guess). The suspension is quite basic but works good enough on the road.

Ich schreibe am 04.03.21 mit jemand vom Verkauf und frage nach einem Angebot bei ud und der Preis für ein Uni Mk liegt dabei knapp 3000€, die Person dort sagt er schicke mir gerne ein persönliches Angebot und übernacht steigt der Preis für ein Uni Mk um knapp 300€ und er schickt mir einen Warenkorb mit den Uni Mk mit neuem Preis also knapp 300€ teurer als am Vortag. Abzocke und hinhalte Taktik. Finger weg!

Was told the bike been made and shiped with a tracking number, few weeks later i email to find out where the bike is, few days later get a phone call and get told the bike has not even been made, i at the point now where i been told two week and the bike be made then two week arfter that i should have the bike. i ask for image of the bike before it ships, my trust in the comapny is at all time low, all thay need to do is send a email saying sorry its been delayed. i don't mind waiting but to be lie to is just rude and unprofessional.

They show out to be a succesfull company but infact they are not very reliable and don’t keep up to their promises. Very bad customer service and aftersales. Some employees are liars.

Customer service non existent. You will never get any answer no matter in which way you seek contact. Also you never know when your products will arrive. It may take many months longer than you are told without any contact. This has been the case for a long time and still is today. Also my bike had some minor defects upon delivery that I had to resolve all on my own.

Kassieren den vollen Kaufpreis und liefern dann nicht. Und auf Anfragen/E-mails von Kunden wird auch nur manchmal geantwortet.
Leute, Ihr verwechselt Ignoranz mit Hipness. Die kleinen teuren Fahrräder von UD sind sicher niedlich. Die Company ist nicht zu empfehlen.

I ordered 2 bikes a bit more than 7 months ago (in january). COVID-19 brought some delays, but mid-July things start to look positive. I receive an e-mail that they now have all the parts required to make my bike, and that they are committed to delivering by end of July.
End of July goes by, and nothing happens (first lie). I try to contact in different ways, but replies are very slow.
On Aug 17, the designer of the bike (Ossi) told me my bikes should be in that weeks production. Same week at Friday afternoon, I ask him about it, because I didn't get a shipping notification yet. He says the bikes were in that weeks production. And blamed Schenker (delivery company) for them not being sent yet. He said they build too many bikes, so Schenker can't keep up. But they will ship the week after.
Week after, I receive mail from support, confirming that bikes aren't built yet (so obviously I was told a blatant lie, that's lie #2).
Last friday, support write to me and confirm that one of my bikes has been built, and will be packed for shipping monday (today).
Surprise: No shipping notification today, so I guess that's lie #3.
The other bike should follow later this week. Time will tell if that's also a lie, but I don't really trust anything they say anymore..
I don't like calling people liars. But when someone high up in the company tells me the bikes are produced and blames the shipping company for not sending it yet - and then I find out that the bikes aren't produced yet. That really angered me.

Sehr gemischte Gefühle... Das Unimoke E-Bike an sich machte extrem viel Spaß, aber von vornherein vermeidbare Reparaturen, weil irgendwas nicht stimmt (die man entweder selbst durchführt oder einen Mechaniker auf eigene Kosten beauftragt), nerven. Die Lieferzeitpunkt nach Vorkasse wurde mehrfach verschoben, obwohl man von Anfang an wusste, dass es später wird. Die Kommunikation ist eine absolute Katastrophe und ist trotz vieler Versprechen nie besser geworden.

Habe ein paar Teile für mein Bike von Urban Drivestyle vor ein paar Wochen storniert. Daraufhin habe ich eine Gutschrift erhalten. Leider habe ich aber mein Geld immer noch nicht zurück. Mittlerweile sind es 3 Wochen seit der Stornierung, obwohl in den AGBs folgendes steht: ... "unverzüglich und spätestens binnen vierzehn Tagen ab dem Tag zurückzuzahlen, an dem die Mitteilung über Ihren Widerruf dieses Vertrags bei uns eingegangen ist."
Auf mehrere Mails zur Klärung des Sachverhaltes wurde leider nicht reagiert. Ich scheine auch nicht der einzige zu sein, der dieses Problem hat, wie man in den Google Bewertungen oder bei Facebook lesen kann. Scheinbar werden Rückzahlungen so lange wie möglich zurückgehalten und die Kunden vertröstet.
