Bad costumer experience and indifference to the potential damage of fragile items
I recently purchased nine Arhoj Ghost sculptures, worth approximately £180, from the Upper Street branch of Twentytwentyone. I chose this location specifically because it was described as a gift shop, rather than their main showroom, as I intended to get the sculptures as a present.
Upon purchasing the sculptures, I requested gift wrapping. To my surprise, this service was unavailable, and the store only offered tissue paper as an alternative. Given the delicate nature of the sculptures and the fact that I would be cycling home, I requested additional packaging to prevent damage. Despite my concerns, the store provided minimal protection, offering only a small, unsuitable box that quickly broke down and some bubble wrap after repeated requests.
I left the store feeling frustrated and disappointed. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Despite my repeated requests for adequate packaging, I was left to fend for myself, wrapping the fragile sculptures with insufficient materials while the cashier seemed indifferent to my concerns.
It is disappointing that a store like this would lack basic gift-wrapping services and demonstrate such indifference to the potential damage of fragile items.

I'm sorry that the shop team were unable to offer a gift wrapping service in store. This is something we will look to implement in future, but at this time we only offer gift wrapping for items purchased online and dispatched from our warehouse, where we have more space.
The Arhoj ghosts are unique in that they do not come individually boxed by the supplier, and each is different to the next. While we don't hold stock of packaging boxes at our shop, I see our team located one to use in this case but I'm sorry to hear it was not fit for purpose. Bubble-wrap is usually effective to prevent breakages so I'm pleased the items made it home without breakage depsite the box degrading.

We've always loved the shop selection and being regular visitors we've always had a good experience.
Our order arrived early to the shop and the formalities and logistics beforehand and during the order were all very easily communicated.
More than happy to recommend the shop and staff and look forward to purchasing from them again in the future.

Timeless Design & Excellent Service
I recently visited the store to select materials for an armchair I’ve been wanting to purchase for some time now. All the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Bea patiently showed me hundreds of fabric swatches and ordered the few I had whittled it down to so I could make the final decision at home. Any further questions that i asked over the phone or email were quickly answered. Delivery was smooth and actually arrived earlier than originally estimated. I couldn’t be happier with the chair, I love it!

The base of my old Arne Jacobsen Series 7 broke away from the seat... I asked TwentyTwentyOne if they could find out what glue I needed to fix it ... despite buying it from them well over 15 years ago, these guys went to Fritz Hansen and got me a replacement seat. Wow... what a fantastic service!

Emails ignored, Late delivery....never arrived
TwentyTwentyOne supplied a large sectional sofa system for a client of ours for a new large build house. They were very helpful upfront, however once 100% of the £14.5k was paid upfront, emails stopped being replied to and we were eventually advised after 4 weeks of being ignored that the sofas would be delayed by 3-4 weeks. Cannot recommend this company; it would appear that the main objective is secure the sale and funds.
Update: 1 month on, we are now hearing that they can't fulfil the order until early August - of course we only find this out after countless chasing emails. Full refund requested.
